Sadly the game won't be available for quite a long time, but rest assured, I am working on this game almost restlessly.

Also, I have now hit 100 votes on the poll which I posted several months ago. With the votes that people have given to me, I can now address the current holders for 1st place on the polls listed.

So, with the first poll, I can rest easy, knowing that I can work on my game, without having to rush, so that way I can release a polished, and perfect game that befits my image.

With the second poll, I'm starting to notice a trend, here. On every website that I ever posted my game to, and had a poll addressing who is the readers favorite character based on design and personality, almost everyone chooses Vice. I don't know why that is the case, whether it's him being the first to be read, or what, but all the votes go in-favor of Vice. Albeit, Verdant Transformation is pretty badass. However, I am pleased to see that Vivian is in 2nd place, with Krista in 3rd ;D

As for the last one, I pretty much anticipated that from all my readers. To be honest, I really wanted to use that poll to see how people would treat the idea of save points, and it worked out, exactly as planned. So, for the most part: Save points will be in the game, but will only be used for areas where you will be unable to use a Pokemon Center, and will be used as a way to get a free heal.

Also, new pages of the Manga will be starting to be made, starting today. However, since it is a manga adaptation, there will be things that will be added and changed, from the original game.

I'm sorry what XD Indeed! I actually went through all the in-battle dialogue, and it actually comes out to be about 100+ lines of dialogue, all together And what's more, there is actually special, easter egg, dialogue that can play, when you use the Tales costumes as a reference to the games that the costumes represent

SOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, new maps, and new stuff added!

First off: Is Treasure Island, also known as Horizon City's Lighthouse, which is used to help guide the S.S. Valeria, and other boats, during foggy nights. Also, at Ivory Resort, Horizon City, or really, any City that is by the ocean, will have fog appear, during the night!

Secondly: is the Horizon City - Day Care. At this Day-Care you cannot deposit each characters' main Pokemon, so basically: Eevee, Umbreon, Greninja, Dialga and Zoroark, Gardevoir, Lucario and Zorua.

The Day-Care functions exactly how it does in Gen 6, and shiz:

These maps all appear, right by Horizon City Also, at the Lighthouse, certain events can occur, during certain times of the day. Also, as a side-note: If you haven't seen the recent update that I posted, a couple days ago, here it is:

Unfortunately I will not be adding in Seasons. Especially since there are already seasonal locations in the game, like Auburn Way, which is always in an Autumn setting.

Maybe for the 2nd game, but since I'm already this far into development with SH1, Seasons would take up a lot of my time to implement Plus, I'd have to have a seasonal tileset specifically made for each and every season, which... is very hard to do. But, I do know how the Seasons work, it would mainly just be extremely hard to get all the tiles in the game to have seasonal variants of one another.

Unfortunately, seasons will not be present in my game ^^; But, perhaps in a few years' time, there be seasons in SH2, and SH: Verdant Tales ;D And then nothing after that, because there will only be 3 games that I will ever make.

Soooooooo, here's some awesome news for the manga, as well as not so good news irl. First let's start with the good news. The good news is that my manga artist has gotten around to conceptualizing Hiro Monochroma and Ariana Valeria for the manga adaptation of the game Hiro does have a slight error with her design, which I've already noted, in that her waistband is supposed to be a lot tighter to her figure, but other than that, these designs will be carried over for following pages!

The not so good news is irl troubles. So, remember that car that was given to me with no strings attached? Well, let's just say my aunt is now demanding 500 dollars per month out of me, in order to pay her back. SO, basically I can't get any of my work done, with my game, that involves a trade of money. So, I basically had to get a 2nd job, to help maintain my game, and my aunt's selfishness. Seriously! She's rich, why does she need me to pay her back :L Anyways, my summer is gonna suck the fat one, but at least I will be able to make progress with my game, because lord knows that I have to pay several people to keep my game going.

Yes, I have full-ownership over the car, and I could sell it for equal of what it costed, and pay off why I owe her. The car was 6600 dollars, and she paid 2000 of that. So, basically, I could sell it off, make the same amount that was paid for, by someone on craigslist, and have ~2000 to spend on my game, and give a big "F-U" to my aunt.

Tbh, I don't need the car, since I got to work just fine without one. And both of my jobs are within close proximity of one another.

But, I'm glad you like the conceptual art for the manga adaptation of the game New pages be coming around after this week or so ^^

I agree with Masquerain/Daze. If it were me, I'd point out how inconsistent she is and just refuse to pay her back. She definitely doesn't deserve the money. If she's rich already, she just sounds greedy.

Then again, I'm not you and I'm not in your situation so as far as I know there may be a reason why you can't do this.

It's because she's trying to teach me to be "independent," as if I need to prove that to anyone. It's not some rite of passage b.s., and I shouldn't have to prove that I'm adult, by having a car that I need to make payments on. And, as much as I would like to sell the car, my parents keep disagreeing with me, up and down, saying "You're gonna need one." and then they slap on other nonsense. Let's just say this: If I wanted a car, I would've bought one, of my own free will. But now I'm a slave to her, until it's paid off, which is f-ing stupid.

But, once I'm able to, and after I pay the taxes for the car, I will try and sell it, regardless of what they say.

Because of this time-constraining predicament on my hands, I may end up focusing more of my time on the Manga of my game, since I will have a lot less time than I thought I would this summer.

So, update:

I now have minus 2 molar teeth, plus 4 jobs that equate to ~90 weeks just to keep the fire burning for my game, minus 1 close friend, and I need to pay everyone before the end of the summer. So, that's fun.

But, anyways progress on the game: I created the fossil research institute, which does exactly what you think it does. It allows you to revive any fossil that you might find in certain caves that have twinkling spots in the walls. No, there is no Sinnoh underground, but you can mine walls inside of caves, if there is a twinkling flash. But, at the Fossil Research Institute, you can get fossil Pokemon, and do a small side-quest, after the main story is completed. Here are some screenshots of the facility.

The facility is located in Horizon City, along with the Day-Care:

So, yeah, I now have 4 jobs, 3 of which aren't so bad, and the other one makes me want to kill myself.

I'm in a position that isn't so easy to get out of, right now. I don't get artwork, sprites, and other things for free. So, I've gotta do something to keep everyone happy. Besides, if something bad does happen, then oh well, I'm sure certain people on the internet would be happy knowing that. And trust me, I have quite a lot of people who're currently out for me, as it is.

I don't understand the situation but I'm guessing it's kind of like a house of card. People who do art kind of need money to keep doing art otherwise they'd have to look for a job and don't have as much time to do it. If I spent my life being a writer instead of doing it on the side, I'd be able to get things done quicker but my life would be a lot harder (which is often why that part gets pushed to the background quite often). My pay could be really low since it's such a competitive field. It'd likely be that I'd have to run a Part time job to even get by.

I'm not going to tell you what to do, but you should budget yourself. Maybe lay off the official artworks and only focus on what's in game at this point. You'll always have to let go of some things you badly want in a game or creation and it's an unfortunate price, but trying to get everything you want will not end well. I did have two part time jobs and I can honestly tell you it was very hard to get work down being exhausted after it all.
