  1. 1. When would you like to see my game released?

    • In a month?
    • In two months?
    • In three months?
    • Who cares, I just want to play a well-made game!
  2. 2. Who is your favorite character?

  3. 3. Would you like Save Points to be the only method of saving?

    • Yes
    • No
    • It makes sense, given the very "different nature" of your game, so yes.

Indeed, also, here are the team set-ups for the Elite Four. Of course, throughout the main course of the story, the only people you ACTUALLY fight from the Elite Four, in a serious battle, is Vincent and Dreyah, while the others are only post-game fights including Helena. So, let's get started:

So, a little update and whatnot. Anyways, new stuff has been added into the game, both graphically and mini-game wise. I created a new area in the game for the Festival of the Flower, which is a story related part of the game, where in Flower Gale Village a celebration is being held. At this celebration, the player can run around and have fun at all the different kinds of mini-games being held, such as a punching bag mini-game that raises the Pokemon's effort values, and some other mini-games inspired by Chrono Trigger and Tales of Symphonia!

So, for those of you who like mini-games, and whatnot, here is a neat little update! This is for the Flower Gale Village - Festival of the Flower. It's still a WIP, but there many more fun stuff for those who like to just mess around!

Also, Vivian now has her Path to Power clothes, which in the story, Vivian states that she no longer is seeking revenge, as that has done nothing but cause trouble for her family. Instead, she sets out to be more like Mia, her sister, and protect those she loves; her family and friends. After Vivian saves her sister from (spoilers), her parents give her these clothes, to show that she has made the right choice in her journey.

Also, new transformation: Synchronzation! This is Vivian's character exclusive transformation, and what it does is simply boost all of Greninja's stats, except health, and increases Evasion by 20%, while also giving a 10% chance to perfectly dodge an enemy attack. It also lets Greninja have a 10% chance of landing a perfect hit as well. It also alters Storm Shuriken, one of Greninja's Verdant Artes, into Renegade Strike.

So, who else here likes mini-games? How about a QTE based mini-game where you have to drink soda? Yeah, so this is another mini-game that I came up with for the Festival of the Flower, and it was inspired by Chrono Trigger!

That's fun, I like the little games you've thought of so far. :)

is there already a version we can play on or do we have to wait some more???

(i ask this because i cant wait to play this)

its still in the work based on its status, so no there is no current version as of yet. Also your not the only one looking forward to playing this :)

To both of these, above, there is no beta and there won't be a beta. If I'm going to release a game, I want it to be fully playable. So, the only time anyone will be able to play the game, is when it is 100% finished. I appreciate your respect for my game, but, you will have to bide your patience, for at least another year or so, because this stuff takes time. I'm only 1 guy, and I have to pay for a lot of the stuff that's in my game. Which is up there in the 5 digit's range of money spent on this game.

So do we got tokens or tickets from playing mini games?

You win tickets on some of them, yes, but most of the time you just win prizes or money. Which, the only way to get certain TM's is by completing the mini-games with the highest possible score, or playing them till you go through all the possible prizes you can get. If you come back here later on in the game with Hiro and Allan, you can get some very unique items in one of the events.

(first prized received was a great ball) I just spent 3 hours aiming for that nice ice beam tm and all I got was a great ball? (realises celebi and goes back in time to try again)

What? Is this a reference to something, because I'm not getting it.

Also, as an aside to this, I am genuinely curious why some of you people follow my game. What is it that you people see in my game that I don't? Because, I am immensely baffled as to why people even follow this.

Yo dood, if you truly found nothing worthy of following in regards to your game, you wouldn't be even making it public. Plenty of things to look forward to and keep an eye on, the first of which is it being a crossover that actually incorporates the elements of both sides quite well

u wanna say u started this project expecting no one to like it except you?

I guess it was just a case of seasonal depression kicking in or something. I had my reasonings for why I questioned the fact that people actually look forward to this game, despite me getting busier and busier each year.

Also, I've recently commissioned a new wallpaper for my game. This will be available to everyone, in some time, however my readers will not be receiving the PNG version of the wallpaper. Readers will only be getting the lesser quality JPG version, not that you can really tell much of a difference, unless you squint. Anywho, this wallpaper is of the Elite Four and Helena.

Update: Much like last year with Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, I will be inactive on working with my game, since the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon is currently around the corner. For how long that will be is... up for debate, since I'm sure that I will be burning some time on this game, as I have 5 days off from school XD

So, I beat Pokemon Moon, yadadadada, and I have an update for today. Well, more of a preferential question to my readers. Do you all prefer this style of Title Card for my game, in terms of font, or the original, custom font that was used, in the main thread? Also, I am now debating about changing the name of my game to Verdant Tales: Symphonic Horizon, instead of just... Symphonic Horizon.

D8BB91662D31415CD18D408532D89EB105AAC343

This was made by one of my friends, and it does get across what I wanted the font title card to convey, but I wanted to know what you all thought.

I don't have any say in the addition of "verdant tales", since it doesnt really have an effect in me (which would probably be different if i had played the game).

Now about the screen as a whole, i liked the orginal one better. The new style seems more generic to my eye. And it doesnt help that being Greek, i have the letter Ω in my language, which is also written O on paper, so reading your new title feels awkward, like reading a typo..

So, I know I haven't done much of a serious map or gameplay update, pertaining to my game as of late, but a lot of the new additions that I've added haven't been recording worthy, and sometimes I just haven't been in the mood for it. However, I did add in a few new things:

Also, Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers, and for those over in Europe, well... Happy End of November I guess XD

  • Gen 7 Battle Items have been programmed into the game.
  • Alolan Ninetales and Mimikyu are the only Alolan Pokemon in the game, and they are only used by Dreyah Haven and Tara Bloom. Sorry guys, just because a new Pokemon game comes out, doesn't mean I'm going to add them in. It just seems unecessary. Maybe for the sequel, like 2 or 3 years, when Gen 8 is around :P Or maybe post-game.
  • Major battle mechanics have been improved, and I've made the Verdant Artes now usable based on a score value that is hidden away, and once that score value hits 75 - 100, you can use a Verdant Arte or Dual Tech. These scores are gained by taking damage and dealing damage respectively. Each hit is calculated as such: sqr-root rounded down of damage + this Pokemon level - opponent's level / this pokemon's level = verdantscore. I did this so that way Verdant Artes are as dissimilar to Z-Moves as possible, because I will never have my children dance in such a silly and stupid way.
  • Added in select Gen 7 moves and TM's that I really cared about putting in. I might add in more, but really... it's not necessary. It's a lot of busywork that I don't care for at the moment.
  • Added in character specific equip items called: Fusion Blades and Aura Sabre. The Fusion Blades are exclusive only Greninja and Vivian, and they enhance all of Greninja's "ninja attacks" by 30% while increasing critical chance by 1. The Aura Sabre doubles all of Lucario's Aura-based attacks, and gives a +1 crit chance. This also coincides with Grenina's Namirian Scarf item, which boosts evasion by 20% and allows for a 10% chance of perfectly dodging any attack, even moves that have perfect accuracy. Couple that with Vivian and Greninja's synchronize and you got a pretty powerful combination.
  • Maximum level has been increased to 150, only for the sole reason of... well... the game is incredibly long, and just for the sake of insurance, and if people actually get to level 100, there is something at least past that. So, for the most part, I might leave it at 150, depending on people's max level's by the end game. Because this game is long. So far, actually I've clocked in about 60 hours, by the time I got Allan and Hiro Monochroma in my team. Admittedly though, I was grinding, so there is a possibility of getting to them much earlier than that.
  • Elite Four now have most of their respective overworld sprites, with Tara being the only one with a unique animation, because she's just that awesome ;) Also having the honor of being the first Trainer sprited by the amazing Nova, to have an in-battle animation.
  • Ability Matrix has started to get worked on again, after putting the project on hiatus, because of horrible pacing with my work on the game.

But, anywho, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. For those of you over in Europe, good luck on your exams and shiz, and whatever else you guys got going on over there, and I'll keep you all posted on new stuff!
