zimvader42
I never knew what generation it appeared in to begin with... *checking* Turns out it was a gen 1 move, Moltres' signature move for a while. Huh.

Komodojoe
I bet you're not the only one. However, one of those people is not me. In fact, I loved using that move back in Pokémon Stadium. It was one of my favorite moves in gen 1. Granted, it probably wasn't such a good idea to spam it now that I'm thinking back, but I wasn't even ten years old when I first played that game. Still, I have many fond memories with that move. ... Good times.
Alex
Next you'll tell me Beat Up was introduced in Gen 2 and not 4 and that Ice Body didn't exist in gen 3!
TRHStatement
Hmm, thought that it was a gen 2 move. The more you know. And Ice Body was introduced in Gen. IV actually
Vinny
I had fly so Fly > Sky Attack Except for a few glitch pokémon that had Sky Attack in Yellow, iirc. Good shit. It's one of those things that I don't pay attention to :T
Masquerain
I never knew what generation it appeared in to begin with... *checking* Turns out it was a gen 1 move, Moltres' signature move for a while. Huh. ....Really? Wow. wellp
dead account
I actually always knew Sky Attack was from Gen 1 because I remember playing Pokemon Stadium and the rental sets for the legendary birds had it. I personally forgot that Poison Heal didn't exist in Gen 3 and that it was added in Gen 4.
Alex
Dizzy Punch is a generation one move that I used to think was generation four very early on in my Pokemon adventures because of Buneary in the anime. Personthing
Yeah, I always knew Sky Attack was from Gen 1, and not because I'm clever. I have a really old guide for the original Red and Blue that mentions Sky Attack. Who doesn't? :v Until a few weeks ago, i thought that Chimecho was from Gen 4. Similarly, for the longest time I thought Skarmory was a gen 3 Pokemon, because I never found it in GSC and I thought that it's anime appearances were a promotion for Ruby and Sapphire.
