Avarice
So I want to start a New Game without losing my current progress in case I want to go back to it. I read somewhere to search for the file 'game.rxdata'. But when I did, there's also a hundred other saves in there. Am I supposed to just rename the folder containing all of those or move/rename just that one file called 'game.rxdata'?
Administrators Ikaru Posted November 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 6, 2015 The game will only recognise the file specifically called "game.rxdata" as your save file. If you rename that, you'll be able to start a new game because there won't be a "game.rxdata" in your folder.See here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/rebornfaq.html#multisave
Fumble
Only rename the one that's called "game.rxdata", since the Game one is the only save file Reborn reads. If there's no save file named "Game", it will start a new one. But you should make sure that it's something recognizable so you can go back to it if you want. Skullgasher
You can actually delete all of those excess saves, but in this situation, I'd find the latest one and put it somewhere other than your Reborn folder. As for the new game, just launch the file named game.rxdata or the original game.rxdata and start a new game from the title screen. I think this is what you're looking for.
