FraRPetO
Destruction = Solution Hello. It's been a while since I made RMT, so I made a team yesterday and decided to post it here just to earn a few rupees and share the team. I don't play much of OU, but I know a few who gladly use my teams. @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Stealth Rock - Scald - Roar - Defog I needed a Water type Pokémon that could set up Stealth Rock and burn things with Scald, so I included Empoleon. Roar to phaze out opponents who try to set up, Defog to remove hazards. @ Life Orb Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Adamant Nature IVs: 29 HP - Protect - Poison Jab - Earthquake - Megahorn I wanted a fast and strong Pokémon that could hit Fairies well, so I chose Scolipede. Poison Jab hits Fairies hard and Earthquake for coverage. Protect lets it boost enough speed to outspeed anything unscarfed and Megahorn for a very strong STAB move. @ Leftovers Ability: Unaware EVs: 216 HP / 252 Def / 32 SpD / 8 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Moonblast - Heal Bell - Thunder Wave - Wish The team had a weakness to Dragon Dance users, so I put Unaware Clefable with T-Wave just to stop them. It also resists Fighting type moves that Empoleon is weak to. Moonblast helps dealing some damage and has a small chance of decreasing SAtk. Wish and Heal Bell for healing the team. @ Life Orb Ability: Defiant EVs: 44 Atk / 212 SpA / 252 Spe Hasty Nature - Thunderbolt - Superpower - Knock Off - Hidden Power [ice] I fell in love with this Thundurus set because it surprises alot of people with these physical moves. Defiant on Defog can make it very deadly, outspeeds Gengar and Lati@s. Thunderbolt/HP Ice are good coverage. Knock Off is the must-have move in gen 6, removes Chansey's Eviolite. Superpower for those weak to it. @ No Item Ability: Gale Wings EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Acrobatics - Roost - Flare Blitz Talonflame is a deadly Pokémon, especially after a Swords Dance. No item to take Knock Off easier and Acrobatics. Roost to remain alive, Flare Blitz because the team desperately needs a Fire type move. @ Alakazite Ability: Magic Guard Shiny: Yes EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Substitute - Focus Blast Mega Alakazam is pretty fast and has Trace, so I wanted to use it. Psychic for consistent high damage. Shadow Ball vs other Psychic types. Substitute stops Bisharp's Sucker Punch and is generally very useful. Focus Blast vs Dark and Steel types. I hope you like the team, give feedback if you want. Enjoy! Empoleon (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Stealth Rock - Scald - Roar - Defog Scolipede (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Adamant Nature IVs: 29 HP - Protect - Poison Jab - Earthquake - Megahorn Clefable (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Unaware EVs: 216 HP / 252 Def / 32 SpD / 8 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Moonblast - Heal Bell - Thunder Wave - Wish Thundurus @ Life Orb Ability: Defiant EVs: 44 Atk / 212 SpA / 252 Spe Hasty Nature - Thunderbolt - Superpower - Knock Off - Hidden Power [ice] Talonflame (M) Ability: Gale Wings EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Acrobatics - Roost - Flare Blitz Alakazam (M) @ Alakazite Ability: Magic Guard Shiny: Yes EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Substitute - Focus Blast
Tomas Elliot
I am not so sure about using two Steel-type Pokemon, makes it hard for you to switch into strong Ground-type attackers that carry coverage moves for fliers, for example bulky attacker Lando-T if it comes into Talonflame. You could run Defog on Empoleon for hazard control, and run something else in Exca's place. This is also a more reliable option for hazard control compared to spinning with a scarfer, because if the opponent has a Ghost-type you'll be forced into 50/50 situations every single time. Also, since you have 248 HP EVs on Talonflame, I think you can afford going LO+Brave Bird. You will still stay alive thanks to prio Roost, thus offsetting the double recoil, and you'll be dealing significantly more damage. This aside, the team looks good, so I have nothing else to say. FraRPetO
I updated the team. Removed Excadrill and replaced it with Scolipede. Still hits Fairies hard with it. I also gave Empoleon Defog since the spinning Excadrill was removed.
Neosong
Thundurus set is an interesting aspect but it gets ultimately rekt by weavile or anything with a scarf. A potential +2 is not good enough to pass on priority thunder wave as it can potentially grant you a free turn and severely criples threaths like scarf kyurem-b
