GenOneRaisedGenY Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 Reveal hidden contents This is probably a small technicality, but there's a point in the game (shortly after beating Noel) where both the ruby ring and amethyst pendant are in your possession AND you can access the front door to Arceus's palace (the one you met Solaris at). I just feel like you should be able to use the two keys in the door, but you're not given that option. Shadow Tack Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 It would make no sense storywise for this to be possible, since both items are important later and if you used them there you would likely leave them, breaking the story, I don't think that counts as spoilers on my side since i only said why it would make no sense in the most vague way possible. But surely the protagonist might be curious what would happen if he/she/xe exposed the two keys to the door (ie. to see if they're even real keys) if they were on hand at the time of being around the door. The same people who have been purposefully destroying entire sections of the city want to get in the door. That's like assuming that the protagonist wants to: Reveal hidden contents Save all the police officers in Beryl Save Heather from Sigmund at the Yeryu HQ Protect the orphans when Laura's place is invaded Fight Taka at the Water Treatment Centre to make him look innocent to Solaris Maybe I just want to be the one to unlock the powers that lie beneath Reborn? You as the protagonist don't get to choose whether you wanna help the bad guys achieve their goal or not, you're forced to oppose them. To have it otherwise would be to make an entire different reborn where you can opt to be one of the bad guys, or be a megalomaniac yourself.
