Attack / Move Animation

I agree with people that play the game mostly for the story and the cool battles.

Personally, I also really like visuals.

Is there any way to get an extended pack with moves animations?

Some cool moves such as metal claw and wing attack are in the game you can see they are custom made.

However, a few common moves such as eathquake and rock slide are not in the game that kinda supprised me.

Is there also anyway to get the moving sprites files? I know this got deleted officially but perhaps I can still get it somewhere.

Thanks alot!

Next episode will have move animations...check the discussion thread in the Developmene Blog in 'Reborn City'...as I type, there are still about ~110 animations or so to do.

Also, if you haven't introduced yourself, feel free to do so in the Grand Hall. ;)

Not exactly. In E16 we are only updating the current animations to make them look a lot better. There are around 110 more of them to do.

Then we're adding the rest of them as we go. Eventually every move will get an animation.

If there were already animations for these moves that could be used in the game, then why wouldn't they already be implemented?

A lot of the preexisting move animations were included with the Pokémon Essentials pack that was used as the foundation for the design of the game.

However, Amethyst hasn't been very pleased with the lack of move animations, and has taken it upon herself to create a unique animation for each move.

Unfortunately, creating hundreds of animations with only a small team of developers takes a really, really long time. Because it's such a time-consuming process, Episode 16 won't be out for a while.

Of course, all of this information is easily accessible in the Episode 16 development thread.

The first is Animations. You can probably guess what that means-- Yes, this is happening... slowly. But it is happening nonetheless. I'll be dividing up the battle animations over the remaining episodes so that they should all be in by lucky number 19. I originally planned to have the community help with animations (since neither RMXP nor spriting experience is required, though both are helpful) but I'm reconsidering this.I may end up just enlisting a couple people. In short, how this gets done is up in the air right now, but one way or another, it will.
