CejKD
Hello, I just caught a Caterpie but I haven't so much as fought Fern yet. Is there a good way or place to level him up so he can get bug bite (level 15)? Edit: I managed to do it, things are going much more smoothly. Hexagoen
at your point in the game, i'd say (if you havent beaten all he trainers yet) go and put cater in the front, then switch out (it should give decent experience given the levels of the trainers) if that is not an option, just use the switch method on wild pokemon. idk what else.your really early in the game, so those two are the best options. CejKD
Okay thats what I thought, was just hoping there was a better method. Thank you why not
Fumble
If you're grinding against wild Pokemon, the place before Fern (and the first Gym Leader) with the highest leveled wild Pokemon are the Alleys. Leveling up before the first Gym is actually pretty slow, now that I think about it. It gets better afterwards, though.
Etesian
Really though, forget about Bug Bite, you can have it be a Butterfree by level 10.
CRUS8D3IUM
how do you have a caterpie that has run away lol
Etesian
how do you have a caterpie that has run away lol Hidden Ability. In case you didn't know, Reborn's hidden abilities are treated like normal ones. So a Caterpie has a 50% chance of being Run Away, a Durant has a 33% chance of being Truant, etc.
