Shoot Huku, as much as I'd like to do this, I haven't even gotten around to even thinking about finishing my character. That, combined with other projects on and off of Reborn, and the whole affair before and after the new Ymora (a couple of you guys know what I'm talking about if you remember). All in all, I'm gonna shelf this for now. Might or might not come back to it, so good luck with bringing your monsterous story to life.

Don't worry man, it's going to be awhile before I open any new submissions anyhow, so no pressure. It's not like I could accept the cahracter even if you finished it since I'm not accepting anymore at current. So, no issue there dude.

Okay so now that I have some of the scene planned out, I've gotten up the IC. now a few ground rules.

1. For character introduction you will be setting and writing your own scene. I will not set the pace for you, YOU will set it for you. I'm going to be making sure you get it out within reasonable time but I will not being helping with the scene unless you specifically want me to insert a more major NPC into it.

2. Don't interfere with the main theme going on. No "Oops, i ran into it happening" things. It's not to be known what is happening. As this is what historically happened, the PCs can;t see it go down. No one is supposed to know how it happened other than those involved directly. Characters shouldn't have any idea what went on. This is to sow possible distrust in the new lord etc... and just in general for the characters. It's meant to more or less be something no one saw coming. So, don't interfere in the scene. Trust me, if you do, it's not going to be pretty for your character. You'd be messing with powers you really don't want to at this point.

3. You may create minor NPCs for use in your scene. However, only basic citizens or lower ranking people please. I don't want people creating those that have any sway in the upper parts of Dour currently. After all your not really anybody in the place of the Castle you shouldn't know those people unless you are in direct contact with them as their servant etc... However for now I wish to have the control over the politics etc of Dour. It might be possible for your character to be able to influence things later etc... Minor NPCs will not be contained in the NPC archive but instead only by name in a Minor NPC Archive. These characters may be used by anyone who wants to. As more info is know little blurbs will be added to their spot in the Minor Archive. This will be basic thing slike a small idea of personlity, job etc...

4. At some point your character should eventually end up in the Throne Room somehow. After the Cue/Call to action they should make their way there. It will be clear what this call is. You'll know. I don't suggest being there before this call happens either. Trust me... you really. really don't want to be in that room at that point in time.

5. Make sure to document your time of when events happen. All PCs, and Major NPCs in a scene should be noted in a header. ((Example, current scene in IC. Keep the date of your event in mind and remember that everything will be occurring here on the First of the Year of Rebirth.)) This will help later, trust me... even if keeping track of date is weird. Currently it is Month 1, day 1, of year 1 for sake of ease. Remember this. Passing of days will be counted. You better keep them counted.

Mmm…writing Isolda may be tougher than I expected. Definitely need to get used to writing her.

You'll get more practice, there's more scene writing for all of you for sure while I update the main event. This first day you'll mostly be on your own until the Call to Action. So... better get to writing foooooolks. XD Or at least getting a solid plan for it down.

Also... apparently Beast People servants are super popular for some reason.... XD

I just needed someone for Isolda to suck blood from and since I am a huge fan of animal-eared characters…and maid outfits...

I think you did a pretty good job with it, I definitely really like you character and am looking forward to seeing what you'll do with her. Btw it seemed like your maid "enjoyed" the blood sucking, do all Vamps bite have that effect or are you just special lol?

I went with a Beast person just because I wasn't sure who else would make a good servant, I don't think there's going to be a slime walking around in a maid outfit lol xD

I just mean there's been that one, one Shadow mentioned I believe. Now there's one I mentioned ((though he deeeead.)). Just a common theme it seems XD.

I don't see why not. Who are you to say a Slime can't be a maaaaaid?! Ruuuuuuuuuude.

It varies among vampire stories. Some do. Some don't. Really depends on where you look. (Though the first place I remember seeing this was in the anime Strike the Blood).

So I'll just assume that all vampires have this in this rp? Though that kind of makes me wonder why would anyone say no to getting their blood sucked every once in a while if it filled you with ecstasy. xD

That's honestly up to Huk and Pyon to decide. Doesn't necessarily have to be the same across the board. Hell, Lotus and Sibyl are fundamentally different types of vampires from Isolda…I think...

I'm just going to say that Sybil doesn't bite people to draw blood... you really don't want to know how it works for her. Let's jsut say it's really really painful experience and you'd probably have to watch your character die to learn how it worked.

But it's up to the person who made that character how it works. After all, it's their character XD.

((and I'll be honest there a reason that was the case in some old vampire stories. The bite was more or less meant to be a censored version of... well... I'm sure you know, hence the reaction of ecstasy from it. It was sorta a weird way to get around actually writing that stuff into the story itself lol. Not to mention that Vampires have always been creatures that play off the theme of lust and desire... usually the dark carnal and animalistic sides of it. It why they often have truly beautiful human appearances, can easily manipulate others with magic especially natural charms-etc...however underneath they are really ugly beings close to demons if not outright demons rather than undead.))

Well, even Lotus is a different type of vampire from Sybil. Lotus is a spawn, meaning she was made into a vampire for the sole purpose of being a servant and has artificial free will. So she is able to make her own decisions, but ultimately her decisions and wishes are her creator's decisions and wishes. So her will is tied to Henriech and Sybil.

About blood sucking, I'm pretty sure Lotus can be gentle. If she was biting someone she cared about, was asked to be gentle, or simply didn't want to hurt them she would definitely make it a pleasurable experience. However, Lotus' signature move {Coup De Grace} isn't ever going to be pleasurable. It's design exactly to be a killing technique. When she uses this ability to drink blood, she also does it way faster than a regular vampire does, so even the sheer pressure of the blood rushing out should be painful.

As for blood sucking and vampires in general. What seems to be the popular medium is that vampires are fast, strong, and charismatic. Usually they also have the three others "stats" (Intelligence, wisdom and constitution) but these are very common in most medium. And since vampires usually have to hide within humans, being charismatic could mean they have repeat meal. So I think a vampire's bite by nature is painful. But if they put some extra effort into it, they can turn that pain into pleasure. Obviously a vampire who doesn't care about hiding or pleasing their partner will go for efficient eating and will just suck their partner dry instead of holding back though. But by giving them this choice, realistically a vampire could hide in a human community, and mask their feedings as romantic nights with a lover. The lover themselves could never even know what the bite really is. It could just be a loooonnnggggg kiss to the neck that just feels so good that they don't care to ever question it.

A lot of people argue that vampires should be ugly and vile creatures, that are terrifying hunters. I like vampires more like this; the smart and fed ones are charismatic and charming. The violent and terrifying ones are killed very quickly.

Also homophobics were afraid of a guy giving them a lethal hickey. Dracula scary.

and I tried for some monster variation in mine :c The lust demon wasn't exclusively romancing vampire women. There was a slime too.

Was she cute?

With all this talk of beast servants though, I should make it canon that Lotus only feeds from a servant friend that is a bunny grill c:

TBH, the servant girl I had Aurora seeking vengeance for is technically a wolf-based Lycanthrope...who is so meek and quiet that, even in her beast form, she's not really that much of a threat to anyone... she would basically be the very lowest beta of a were-wolf pack if ever there was one.

Keep in mind there's a reason I didn't mention her XD. I knew she was a Lycan. To be fair though... Lycanthropes are basically... Beast People that have a human form when you get down to the nitty gritty of it. However that's grossly over simplifying. like GROSSLY oversimplifying XD. However they are in a similar category for a reason, they are decently close in idea.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand now I've got the feels from that last post... wasn't expecting for it all to come out like... that, but I'm glad it did. Went better for exposing a bit more of her character in a better way than I probably could've ever planned that scene to have.

ugg this is proving to be difficult for me for some reason. (well probably lack of time i have right now is part of it.) how much would goblin politics matter in the scheme of things in the castle(just trying to figure out something before i get to far in writing things.)

In regards too? Keep in mind there's very limited numbers of each type of creature within the Castle. They don't really tend to split by race based Politics lol. It was sorta the point of this whole thing to bring the Dmaned races together and stop them from being fractured.

well good thing i asked then.

be warned my meandering thoughts coming in...

well going off of what common things you can find about goblins orcs and such is that they breed fast almost like rabbits so given that the castle really haven't have much going on. i figured that the goblins and such would probably have had a really big population boom since there's really nothing killing then faster then they could breed. Given the possible overpopulation of them i figured that there would have been factions that have formed with in them thus the goblin politics. i figured that there would be something around that would keep them in check you know getting rid of certain troublesome leaders so they wouldn't organize to the point of trying to over throw the leaders with sheer numbers.

hopefully that makes some sense. my thought was to do something along the line of that last part but if that doesn't work then i can come up with something else...probably pit fighting. or something. yeah that would work.
