Favorite Pokemon Movies?

Which is your favorite pokemon movie?

For me, it has to be a tie between the first movie (my emotions) and the Jewel of Life (I thought this was the last good movie they actually put out).

The Rise of Darkrai, for sure. Darkrai is my favorite pokemon (Also my first legit shiny), and the movie had a lot of feels. It also helped expand his lore and showed that "evil" is not always what we think it is.

My personal favorites are probably a tie between the first movie and Temple of the Sea, both I felt actually had solid plot and emotion, plus the first movie just brings so many nostalgia feels.

I chose the first, 2000, 3, and Heroes because those are the only ones I remember. Out of those, It's hard to choose. I like the mysteriousness of the Unown, the giant flying castle in 2000, the nostalgia of 1, and the fact that Latias was my favorite Pokemon for a while.

The Rise of Darkrai for me I loved that movie and I may have just slightly cried a bit when Darkrai died...

I really liked the 1st-5th movies. also 8th, 9th, 10th and 17th. the stories and music. the beautiful settings and scenery. (and in 17th movie Diancie and the shopping trip, seeing them just having a normal everyday fun that can be done by anyone living near a mall, or anywhere with shops really, was nice, to just go window shopping with friend even if you don't actually buy anything, just hanging out with your friends, eating lunch and ice creme, just having fun, that's nice, it sold the whole movie to me, even more then Diancie and Xerneas themselves)

I'm of the mind that the early movies are better. The newer one seem more kid oriented where the first few tackled some dark themes. I love Mewtwo so the first movie's awesome. Pokemon 2000 is my favorite as Ash is THE hero rather than a hero. Pokemon 4Ever is heart wrenching. The only newer one I like enough to add to this list is the Rise of Darkrai movie. Because Darkrai's awesome, I prefer Palkia over Dialga, and the tower's song is pretty awesome. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then go watch the movie again.
