Alchemia Chan
I have been breeding a lot of battle ready Pokemon lately, and I'm quite satisfied with my work. However, I am not good at making teams like making offensive and defensive cores. I don't have a particular play-style in mind so any team will do as long as the teams are from the group of Pokemon I have available. Here are Pokemon I have: Their sets are standard and Linoone are my Pickup squad. Thank you a lot in advance in case someone helps me. Odybld
With all these really good mons, just slap anything you want together with anything you want and call it a day Adapt to your opponents (leaders and other bosses) and keep some cheese at the ready if the situation calls for it, and you're golden! valfische
I'm the defensive type with an attitude hope mine is good enough to help improve it as you can and I will not give any nature because i go with any nature the pokemon has Meganium@Overgrow "Toxic Sweep" item: big root - Toxic - Earthquake - Synthesis - Energy Ball Cinccino@Skill Link "Annoying Little Guy" item: Wide Lens/ King's rock if there is - Bullet Seed - Rock Blast - Tail Slap - Wake Up Slap Vespiqueen@ Pressure "The Queen" Item: Insect Plate - Attack Order (crit) or Acrobatics - Defend order (up def and sp.d) - Heal Order - Struggle Bug (Lower SP.A) or Aerial Ace Clefable@Magic Guard "I'm your Fairy" Item: Leftovers (I give this to clef, its a hassle to get this item) - Cosmic Power (same as defend order) - Stored Power (Combo with Cosmic Power) - Brick Break (if you ever meet steel types) or Body Slam - Moonblast Vaporeon@ Water Absorb " I'm the best eeveelution" IMO Item: Big Root - Aqua Ring ( combo with big root) - Scald or Surf - Aurora Beam or Ice Beam - Acid Armor ( covers for your def, Sp.d is already high) Gothitelle@ Shadow Tag " I'm Uber I know already" Item: Leftover if you want to get it again or Focus Sash - Calm Mind ( F*** this S***) - Psychic or Psyshock - Feint Attack or Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse - Toxic
wytch_doctr
There's just so many good Pokemon there. But for Reborn, offensive is generally the route that you'd wanna take to make the game more enjoyable. A few good offensive Pokemon are... Gallade Togekiss Serp Mamo Garde Ampharos Lucario Crawdaunt Galva Flygon Weavile how did you get this Support offense hybrids are... Roserade Milotic Sylveon Clef Gothitelle Chandy Other than those, I wouldn't use them just either because of bias or just a lack of utility in Reborn. Dragon116
Just remember you don't need to put healing moves on your team since you have healing items. Use the slots for status attacks on the opponent.
TimTim
I have a penchant for setting up moveset and special attackers, so my suggestion for your team and rationale behind my recommended set: Lilligant @ Meadow Plate via mining Ability Own Tempo -Quiver Dance -Petal Dance -Hidden Power(for coverage, i dont know what your Lilligant hidden power is, but best if it is other than grass type) -Sleep Powder(first mon in battle field that Lilligant can outspeed, in order for Quiver Dance to set up without interference) This is borrowed from competitive set, hope it works wonder in-game Mamoswine @Icicle Plate Ability Thick Fat -Ice Shard -Earthquake -Icicle Crash(egg move) -Amnesia(pre evo move) Amnesia to boost special defense which is the weakest stat in Mamo, coupled with thick fat for fire weakness, icicle crash and Earthquake provide STAB, Clefable @Leftovers Ability Magic Guard -Cosmic Power -Stored Power/Flamethrower -Moonblast -Wish Stored Power + Cosmic Power for coverage for poison type, Wish to help the longevity in battles, if Flamethrower is available, switch Stored Power with Flamethrower for steel type coverage and fire type is a better coverage than psychic move like Stored Power Galvantula @Insect Plate/Zap Plate Ability Swarm -Bug Buzz -Discharge -Sticky Web -Giga Drain Most of them are STAB, giga drain for Rock coverage, and sticky web entry hazard to support the later teammates that are slower than opponents mons Meowstic M @Light Clay Ability Prankster -Light Screen -Reflect -Psyshock -Charge Beam(i honestly cant think of a good move for last slot) Double screen meowstic for support Kingdra @Scope Lens Ability Sniper -Focus Energy -Dragon Pulse -Surf/Hydro Pump -Signal Beam/Ice beam Scope Lens+Sniper+Focus Energy =very high chance of crits Chandelure @Spooky Plate Ability Infiltrator -Shadow Ball -Flamethrower -Energy Ball(only when it is available) -Will-o-wisp STAB, Will-o-wisp to reduce powerful physical attackers' attack and withering down their health, energy ball to provide rock and water coverage Edited December 11, 2015 by TimTim
Hymdall
Reborn for me is basically all about adaptability, and with all those Pokemon I think you should be fine. I won't post an entire team, but I will point out a couple neat synergies I noticed! The biggest one I see is Venomoth + any of your bulky special attackers. Venomoth is one of the few Pokemon around that can get a good boosting move AND Baton Pass. Natural Quiver Dance + Baton Pass as an egg move means nasty things. Baton Pass a Quiver Dance or two to say...Gardevoir or Nidoqueen, and suddenly you have a sweep on your hands. The other biggest thing I've noticed is that you have a LOT of Pokemon that appreciate some measure of speed control. Chandelure, Nidoqueen, Crawdaunt...The list goes on. Galvantula essentially does all you want with that, given that Sticky Web is a fantastic hazard. Lead off with the spider, set up webs, KO their lead, and now the ball is in your court because you now outspeed them pretty much guaranteed, barring any shenanigans. And those are just a couple ideas. Don't be afraid to get creative in Reborn. Sometimes, the most unlikely Pokemon will be the most useful~
Alchemia Chan
Thanks a lot for your help guys. Weavile how did you get this Cheap episode manipulation. I feel bad for doing it. For all of the uncommon/rare items (e.g. Leftovers, Type Plates), I worked hard to get most them beforehand. I got all type plates (one each) which I grinded for a month on separate occasions and five leftovers. Thank you Linoone squad for your hard work. As for egg moves, I got them covered. All that I'm waiting for now are the new TMs and move tutors. I'll try composing my own teams using what I learned from you guys so thank you again for your assistance.
