Genesis
How dirty the characters in every pokemon game are? I mean in the main series you get to see ash wear slightlt different clothing. you see them wash the clothing, hell, there's even an episode where the clothing gets stolen. yet in all the games you wear the same clothes start to finish. Hours turn into days and days turn in to weeks. Feel free to complete title as you see fit
zimvader42
In Kalos you're at least given a chance to change clothes as you please. I guess is just the rest of regions that do not mind wearing the same clothes for as long as one lives.
wytch_doctr
has it ever occurred to you that EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM is solved by Team Rocket attempting to fuck shit up, and failing, bringing (insert person or pokemon) to trust (insert person or pokemon) or to solve (insert minor inconvenience). BrutaLotus
@genesis hmm, in that case, you could also wonder about the characters (nonexistent) sleep, for days and weeks. Or that you often can't use runnung boots indoors. Or the mysterious voice (or person, like your father in gen3 or prof oak in gen1) that says "You can't use that here." Or that mini backpack, which can back dozens of pokeballs, one or two bikes, a whole pharmacy, or dozens of rocks, etc. etc.. Or even that pokemon can fit into rooms, but are normally way to huge for it. Or that your mum sleeps in the kitchen... (e.g. gen3)
Cepheus
Has it ever occured to you HOW FRICKIN EXPENSIVE a normal Bike is? you only get it for a voucher, or as a gift... EVER... because you can't possible have the amount of money they would charge you for. The Bike Vendors want 1.000.000P$ (1 Million) since Pokemon comes from Japan P$ is most likeley based on the Japanese Yen if we convert that over we have: 1P$ = 1Y = 0,0082$ (current ratings) doesn't seem much... well now make * 1.000.000 1.000.000P$/Y = 8.270$ EIGHT-THOUSAND-TWO-HUNDRED-SEVENTY DOLLAR FOR A FRICKIN' BIKE! (damn these vouchers are worth it...)
Tomas Elliot
This applies to most visual media I can think of, from comic books to cartoons to videogames, western and eastern alike. It is a popular trope to make a character recognizable by giving him/her a very unique outfit... But if he/she changed said outfit every other episode, the whole point would be made moot, don't you think? Just assume they wash their clothes off-screen: by your logic, people rarely eat or sleep and never go to the toilet, either.
Red_Chaos
come to think of it....when do you go into a house and ever see a bathroom...
Hiss13
Or, you know, people could wear multiple of the same outfit. But do bear in mind, a lot of stuff happens off screen because nobody cares about making the player character do mundane tasks. We're here to raise super powered animals to fight each other for sport.
Masquerain
Has it ever occurred to you that some games have super primitive houses with advanced technology like computers and Tvs
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted December 15, 2015 Global Mods Share Posted December 15, 2015 One thing I realized a few days ago is how exhausting and sometimes scary it would be to actually explore some of these environments. Pokemon has a lot of caves, mountains, forests, etc. Including some places that are extremely cold or hot. We don't ever get to see or hear about the physical condition of the character we're playing as, so it's not something I thought about until recently. Developers Samtale Posted December 15, 2015 Developers Share Posted December 15, 2015 has it ever occurred to you that team rocket and plasma's plans were harmless in comparison to team aqua, magma, galactic, and flare. -rocket average crimes, team plasma wanted to have pokemon freedom -aqua/magma would either flood the world or get rid of all water -team galactic was messing with god, antimatter, time and space. -team flare are literally dealing with the pokemon embodiment of life and death

Cobalt996
Has it ever occurred to you that, since you are the protagonist (mostly one-dimensional pure person), Team Rocket really wasn't breaking the laws that much in Gen 1? I mean, if anyone Team Rocket tries to steal a Pokemon, they get targeted, but you steal a Pokemon from someone's house in Celadon City, but nobody cares, because you have a Pokedex. And why should anyone care, considering how much they drop on the ground, anyways? Seriously, you get >200k in items off the ground, these days, among them "rare" T/HMs, priceless fossils (Amber), literal pure gold, health drinks, topical drugs, ancient relics, and so much more. Don't forget that you grab some of these out of houses, too. Still criminals? What about the fact that ANYBODY with a Pokemon can just up and mug anyone else who has a Pokemon? You just talk to a random kid, knock out his pets, and steal his money. Better yet, if you do it to news reporters, they praise you on TV. And the goal of every kid of age ten is to go mug this one guy after mugging basically everyone else in their home region. But don't forget: they have a Pokedex, so it's all good. Masquerain
Well at least the "mugging" evolved into a "prize" for winning

Komodojoe
Has it ever occured to anyone that it's actually legal to let a ten year old to wander around on their own in the pokemon world at all? Or that they can legally capture creatures and have them attack other creatures? Or that they can just walk into almost any house or building that they please? Or that they can singlehandedly bring down a criminal organization? ... You see where I'm going with this.
Malfaria
... That you can enslave God?
Komodojoe
...That too, actually. Anyways, I was pretty much saying that all of those things would be illegal IRL with the first of them being child abandonment, then animal cruelty, then home invasion, and the last of them is basically you being a vigilante. Froiky
In Pokemon, has it ever occurred to you that no one locks their doors, ever, and you (the player/protagonist) just waltz right on in. What? It did occur to you? Well, why wouldn't it? Free stuff is awesome and game people are just so generous.
