Cepheus
has it ever occured to you that... in the anime Ash is lifting up and holding his Pokemon with no effort at all? A few examples: - he lets his Fletchinder sit on his stretched out arm... Fletchinder weighs 16Kg / 35 lbs - he let his Noctowl sit on his stretched out arm... Noctowl weighs 40.8Kg / ~90 lbs! - he carried Hippopotas on his head - Hippopotas weighs 49.5Kg / 109 lbs - he picks up his Pignite ... Pignite weighs 55Kg / 121 lbs! - he carried Larvitar around in his Backpack and on his HEAD! - Larvitar weighs weighs 72Kg / 158 lbs!! Swampellow
...that Regigigas can't learn Rest, despite having been sleeping for BAZILLIONS of years? Probably doesn't want to have to fall asleep again so it prevents itself from being able to.

Ironbound
Has it occured to you that, since we know that inanimate objects can be captured in a Pokeball, it seems awfully convenient to carry an entire array of personal apparatus in them. Why not have a Rotom and carry all of its appliances in spare balls, so that the character can actually wash their clothes and store and cook food (or mow NPCs' lawns for a few extra bucks) or something? That said, rummaging through trash cans and picking up random stuff lying around is considered totally okay, so I guess everyone in Pokemon is a kleptomaniac. I think it's safe to presume anime has literally no logical rules at all..I mean humans are supposed to die if you flamethrower their face or zap them with 5987659867 volts of electricity but yeah.. BrutaLotus
Or that all Officer and Nurses look exactly the same (in Pokemon Anime), but are no clones (and we talk about dozens of each).
Masquerain
Or that all Officer and Nurses look exactly the same (in Pokemon Anime), but are no clones (and we talk about dozens of each). Even their kid relatives look identical.. I remember an episode or few with a little joy kid who even had an actual name other than joy But it's the case with joys in the games too Edited January 1, 2016 by Masquerain
Deleted User
Has it ever occured to you HOW FRICKIN EXPENSIVE a normal Bike is? you only get it for a voucher, or as a gift... EVER... because you can't possible have the amount of money they would charge you for. The Bike Vendors want 1.000.000P$ (1 Million) since Pokemon comes from Japan P$ is most likeley based on the Japanese Yen if we convert that over we have: 1P$ = 1Y = 0,0082$ (current ratings) doesn't seem much... well now make * 1.000.000 1.000.000P$/Y = 8.270$ EIGHT-THOUSAND-TWO-HUNDRED-SEVENTY DOLLAR FOR A FRICKIN' BIKE! (damn these vouchers are worth it...) Yes and by that logic, a device that shrink down animals capable of being powerful weapons and capturing them can be bought for the equivalent of $1.
Cobalt996
ash is ripped Brock and May must be, as well, since Brock throws Forretress (125,8kg), and May has Beautifly (28.4kg) on her head frequently. ...So, has it occurred to anyone that, in the anie depiction, some Pokemon (such as Forretress) should be immobile, due to the lack of limbs/protruding mass? Rolling, maybe...
