SnowGlaceon
Oh my God you actually did it. Funny how this all started as a server joke, and now it'll ruin our lives. Was this the field that took you forever?
Ironbound
I can see things like Abomasnow and of course, Malamar, appreciate this field, especially in tandem with the Amplifield rock. (I don't like my steel and water types getting trashed though. I'm thankful it isn't in the main storyline.) I also hope that that 'fun' puzzle brings us a proportionately awesome reward. Gaunt
Cool field too bad i'm not going to use it with my steel team
NickCrash
I suppose there will be some limitations as to where it can be used. If not, the battles against Titania and Adrienn are going to become really easy, since the most defensive types will instantly become the worst, even for 3-5 turns. Sad that only the Malamar line knows Topsy-Turvy. Suggestion: How about the move disable to turn off any "player created" fields?
Red_Chaos
great i can barely battle on normal fields to begin with .... but progress is progress
Fumble
technically Smeargle can also learn Topsy-Turvy Inverse Field is finally announced! I hope that if we can rechallenge Noel, he uses this Field rather than the Grassy Terrain.
Alchemia Chan
I'm just glad my Inkay can be bred with Simple Beam next Episode. I'd like to try my gimmicks plus Inverse field once that happens. :3 hehehehehehehehe......
Vinny
Soooooo... what are the chances of Topsy-Turvy being a Tutor Move in the aftergame so we can f*** some shit up? I mean, I'd have no problems carrying a Malamar around (Or a Smeargle), but just in case I'd like to have more than one pokémon with the ability to turn the field~
bepe
Looking forward to this inverse side quest! I guess its time to train a malamar up.
Reishi Astrea
Just to be absolutely sure about something, what does the Inverse Type Chart means about pokemon that Immune to certain types' moves? for example Lucario is Fight/Steel dual type so it's Immune to Poison, does that will make Poison x4 effective for it? and pokemon with a x4 weakness will be immune to it instead? that is so interesting. and it will make for some awesome battles and strategies. Can't wait. why not

Ironbound
Although already ninja'd, I'm sure that during an Inverse Battle, type matchups are reversed and no type is immune to any other type. An immunity will become an x2 weakness...so for instance, flying types are immune to ground moves, and bug resists them, so a bug/flying type should take x4 damage from a ground move, unless I'm much mistaken. However, flying types would still be immune to Spikes, Webs, etc, but will take reversed (i.e.resisted) damage from Stealth Rock. The real question will be with abilities like Sap Sipper and Thick Fat, and moves like Freeze Dry. I believe that they still function as normal, but I'd like to see how they turn out. bepe
So using mud sport with a ground type is finally useful? Cool.

Foamy
Sidequests might be fair game though... In fact since Fields can affect the overworld in certain places now, I have a pretty fun idea for a puzzle that depends on switching in and out of Inverse Field. ^~^ YES DO IT PLEASE
SatanicSceptile
Will the Amplifield rock have any effect the inverse field?
bepe
I believe it extends the effect.
Administrators Ikaru Posted February 3, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 3, 2016 Will the Amplifield rock have any effect the inverse field? Assuming I'm reading correctly, yes, because the Inverse field will be player-created and not just a transformation of an existing field effect.
