Valyrym
Ok, there are no threads active about what version 7 has done with the characters so, this is where we will theorize my friends, and i will start with Madame. Friggin. X. Where do i start, other than her normal characteristics, She Goes back in time, pull you into ANOTHER DIMENTION, says despite how much of a pain you are she finds herself saving you EVERY time implying she saved you before, which means Madame X has either saved your life in the past, where you can't remember, in the future, it hasn't happened yet Or madame X is crescent as she is the only character to save the Protag's life thus far Next is the fact that melia straight up leaves you to go do her own thing, i remember that in kakori village she says and i quote "(Protagonist), i trust you the most, And i know matter *who i am*, i know you got my back" which makes me ask, if you trust the protag so much, why leave without the protagonist "No matter who i am" implying that there are other melia's out there somewhere, IE Marianette and possibly someone else Venam remains static and Aelita is still MIA i don't think ren did anything I forget the white haired dudes name, but chances are he is one of "The Four Not Born Of Man" in the light prophecy anyway, what do you guys think any ideas any theories Edited February 8, 2016 by The Anti-Fern
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted February 8, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted February 8, 2016 I don't think Crescent is Madame X because she freed Mewtwo, pushed Sharon off a mountain for being part of Team Xen and told Geara to tell Madame X to fuck off. I think Kanon might be Angie/Anju's son. I had specific reasons for thinking so, but I don't remember what they were.
chvtky
Madame X could be Crescent with multiple personality disorder. Mmm.

Mr. Akeda
Plot twist Madame X is the character's mom, just throwing that out there.
Alilatias
Not sure if you've all replayed the game, but a lot of the game prior to the 5th gym (maybe even later) is now drastically different from what it used to be. The Blackstepple Castle arc in particular was COMPLETELY overhauled, in every sense of the word. For example, when Madame X apparently tries to kill you at the castle, she mentions taking what is 'rightfully hers', and immediately follows that up by saying the it's player character's life. Perhaps she was actually being literal there. They also really emphasize the whole 'mom being a doll' thing, especially with Madame X being incredibly surprised that she'd sacrifice her own life to save you, saying that it should have been impossible for her to experience such emotion. Maybe you and your mother were actually former team Xen members, or closely related to them. Neved outright says that all of the prisoners were needed for the sake of collecting chaotic energy, and that once Madame X arrived, instead of murdering the prisoners, she'd take their free will. There's a point during that arc where you see your mother being forced to try to repair a generator as well (through computer coding, which has numerous implications in itself), though she instead sabotages it, using the excuse that it had been a while since she last tried such a thing. Aishi
Okay but... ...that Gardevoir though. Is nobody going to question her??????????????????????? I'm guessing we'll meet an Absol next and its colour scheme will be lighter and more majestic/angelic than a normal Absol. Or something. WEH. I guess I have to actually finish V7 first before posting here. =T
0 SPD Slowpoke
Melia is almost certainly Marianette and Madame X is defeated in the past eventually which is why a 'modern', 'familiar' mask is in the museum. Calling it now.
canse
I just have a feeling our enemy will turn out to be crescent instead of Madame X. >:
Xiri
That Gardevoir was so unexpected and freaky... like legit. But yeah, I'm also expecting a really big plot-twist involving Crescent... and I don't have a good feeling about it
HUEnd
Madame X = Melia's mother Noticed that on an dialogue where Melia can't spell whoever she was going to spell, and just mention another name (can't remember which dialogue).

Bruh, didn't even THINK of that, Madame X as the main protag's real mother, that sounds cool as fuck, and that would be fucking great plot material, 10/10, the only flaw with that is, and i quote the prophecy of light "Four not born of man" doll, homunculus, whatever you wanna call it, the protag is part of the light prophecy so, wait, what if madame X is the protag from the future, something happened, now the future protag is madame X because reasons, that would mean the protag is part of the dark prophecy, which would then ,uhh wait, its confirmed nancy is a doll, the protags true mother being madame X wouldent make sence unless the protag was part of the dark prophecy and not the light, but then if the protag is part of the dark, why is nancy a doll/humonculus, uhh, goddamnit jan, why is this plot so confusing Edited February 9, 2016 by The Anti-Fern
SansTheSkeleton
Melia is almost certainly Marianette and Madame X is defeated in the past eventually which is why a 'modern', 'familiar' mask is in the museum. Calling it now. Melia is more or less Maria if Grounds of Theolia is anything to go by. Melia goes through 3 sprites; her current self, her old self... and Maria. Also on Madame X... She can time travel somehow. She snatches away a diary when you're reading it... in the past.

Wait what, tghe only dairy is the past i got was the mysterious diary that helped the garbodour, madame X didn't take that, which one are you talking about
SansTheSkeleton
There's another diary, in the basement, which you can read. Madame X takes it before you can read the important part.
Reverse
After seeing that Gardevoir we saw in the past... I started to think that she was Madame X. She stated that she already "saved" us many times and that's what a Gardevoir normally do : Protect it's trainer. So we were maybe Madame X's Trainer in the Past but then Crescent snatch us from our real parents in the Past because we're important for something and then gives us to Nancy ? But this theory has way too many flaws.

Just read it, that is defininatly Madame X's diary or whatever, which means A she said she has friends supporting the Maria/Melia/Madame X Theory, And B she said she has seen the one who will save us all, which is probably the protag Inb4 the piano girl is the one who will save us all Edited February 9, 2016 by The Anti-Fern
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted February 9, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted February 9, 2016 Madame X told Kanon the Theolia cult + Gardevoir were dangerous, though. I think the Gardevoir either belongs to Crescent or was given the ability to talk by Blakeory technology like Braixen. btw, Zetta is also not born of man, but Pokemon instead, so he could be a candidate for Light prophecy Also I think Angie is the shadow of greed or obsession, because of the "Not even Arceus can stop me" comment. It's not even about Arceus anymore, it's just about her own power.

Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted February 9, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted February 9, 2016 It doesn't happen on-screen. He says in his diary he talked to a masked woman with a red cape, then when he comes in on the basement scene he says she told him these people were a danger to the world or something. Alilatias
I'm starting to think that the Team Xen and the Arceus crew aren't actually working together, or at least aren't on the same page. Just because there's a prophecy stating that there are four warriors of light and four warriors of darkness doesn't mean that the members of each group will actually be working together. So with this, I'm going to guess:- Madame X is actually a warrior of Light. She just managed to fool her subordinates into thinking she's part of the Dark prophecy, when she's playing the long game in trying to advance the Light.- Crescent may be a warrior of Darkness, trying to fool everyone into believing that Madame X is one, and manipulating everyone into making the Dark prophecy come true. But... Or she just represents a neutral chaos - there's a newer scene after beating the Ghost Gym where Ren is apparently upset that you managed to undo the town's isolation in a matter of DAYS when he had been trying for YEARS, and Crescent capitalizes on that by suggesting he join Team Xen. That is not something a Warrior of Light would suggest at all. There's also the matter of exactly why Crescent would take such an interest in you and your mother remaining out of the clutches of Team Xen. We all know she's played a direct part in their lives somehow prior to the game starting, and it's also highly implied that prior to the events of the game, Crescent was responsible for the Goldenwood radio tower project failing as well. Again, not something a Warrior of Light would be doing.
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted February 9, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted February 9, 2016 Well with the radio tower, they were trying to create a new world and that was treated like a bad thing in the game. Although she didn't bother explaining anything to anyone, she just burned it down, which was extreme. She also said Ren would get answers and didn't mention joining Team Xen, so it's possible he came to them for different reasons. I kind of really want Crescent to be on our side based on the player's interactions with her, but I do have a feeling she might end up being an enemy based on her interactions with others. Valyrym
I feel like towards the end of the game there is going to be a 2 or 3 way split thats affects the way the sotry will end will you side with crescent Melia or someone else like, i dunno, madame X, you know, if madame X was good this whole time, i'd be chill with joining team Xen for a bit what about you guys Edited February 9, 2016 by The Anti-Fern
Red_Chaos
Im beginning to think Madame X is our true mommy that created us some time between these time jumps, in an effort to save the world from herself being at one moment she hates our guts to i need you to remain alive scenes
