Story Time

I'm making this thread in hopes that you people will share stories from your lives whether funny, sad, embarrassing or infuriating.

I just wanna start with a really funny, and a bit sad, thing that happened today. Me and my friends decided that we wanted to throw a surprise party for a friend that recently had a birthday. We had planned a place and time to meet up, then send some sort of message to the "victim's" boyfriend, so they could leave the house and we could walk in and prepare everything. Unfortunately, the weird friend that's always late didn't show up, but we decided to continue without him. They returned and we surprised them and everything was good. After they sat down they mentioned that they'd met the friend that didn't show up. He was late and didn't know what to do, so he told them "I'm just derping around." Bad enough that they run into him and he says that, he also randomly gives her his gift and wanders off. After like an hour of the party he shows up pretty tired. What he'd managed to do is get lost, slip on the ice, pass out until he woke up a while because his pants had frozen stuck into the ground. Sadly he left early because he'd probably gotten a concussion, but we were still laughing.

I realized that this story wasn't very funny while I was writing it. Don't mind me, I'm drunk, but please share a story here

So this just happened a few weeks ago. I am a math nut and when I'm not playing games or reading a book, I'll usually be doing random math problems. So the start of the year, start of a new syllabus. Our math teacher comes in and gives us all a workbook filled with problems. She'll occasionally give us homework to do in that workbook.

One day, I was super bored, so I went and complete about 50% of the book. The book was about 150 pages and so far the teacher only asked us finish it as far as, what, page 10?

So a few days later at school, our math teacher instructed us to do a few pages of the workbook in class. I was mega exhausted, and since I had already finished all the pages she assigned (and probably the pages she'll be assigning for the next month too), I decided that now's a great time to sleep.

The teacher, of course, walks over and instead of waking me up, she asked my friend sitting next to me (who was nonchalantly copying off my workbook) why I was asleep, and whether or not I had finished my exercises (I wasn't fully asleep, so I heard everything).

Then my friend bloody showed her the notebook and flipped through the 50+ pages that I had already completed.

Our teacher just said "Wow, this students definitely going to get a 100 in the next exam."

And she walked away.

now im hyper stressed out, if i dont get a 100 in the next exam, i might never get to sleep in class again help me
