Ironbound
I didn't see this kind of thread anywhere, so I think I'll start one! I hope this is the right place... After a gruelling week, one likes to look forward to the weekend. Sunday mornings usually have a special air about them, since for many of us they are the 'last free morning' before the dreaded Monday approaches. Generally, it may come as a restful time, after the pace of a Saturday night but before the wistfulness of a Sunday evening. So, in this thread, I'd like to ask you all how your ideal Sundays begin, and what your opinions of Sundays are. Personally, I rarely get to enjoy a Sunday in full because I have classes every day, and even when I do get a break I usually have to study a lot, but I do look back fondly to the time before I was an accountancy student. My idea of an ideal Sunday would be to awaken early and watch the sun rise slowly above the horizon. Then, I would sit comfortably in an armchair, with the morning papers and a hot cup of coffee in hand and a furry dog at my feet, as the morning sun slowly filtered in through the windows into the still-empty living room, and the melody of songbirds and the scent of white roses from the terrace outside fill the air... Anyway, I'd love to know how you guys enjoy your Sundays! Please do share your moments, experiences, and anything else you like. SkyRunner
My ideal Sunday morning would probably be something like coding on my laptop while sitting in an armchair and sipping a mug of green tea.

TimTim
I am usually not busy in the morning even in weekdays, all my packed schedule is in the afternoon, so i can take my time in the morning, thus my Sunday mornings are no difference than my regular mornings, always start with a nice cup of coffee and a book(can be fiction/non fiction), sometimes when i am up for it, i will go for a morning jog at park nearby, some other times, i will call my friends(or they call me) and we will be having breakfast in a cafeteria together. mde2001
My Sunday Mornings: Sit and do stuff for the Redemption league for most of the morning. Then usually go off to a school play rehearsal at about midday.

Lugruf
I'm in university so um... sleeping I guess. You don't get much of it during the rest of the week.
Ironbound
That is true. Sleep is already compromised as is for many of us. I don't necessarily mean that Sunday mornings have to have any elaborate schedule, just a few simple pleasures that we like to enjoy on a weekend or holiday when we begin the day. Most of us like a hot cup of tea or coffee to start with, for instance. Of course, it's difficult for many of our actual Sundays to be our ideal Sundays, hence the title. If that was the case, I hardly get to laze and bask in the morning sun anymore. Edited February 20, 2016 by Viridescent
Simon
Ideally, it would be to sleep in. However, most of the time I just spend it going to church and doing other stuff ranging from college work to stuff with my fam.
Jacobliterator
A few slices of sourdough bread toasted and a nice cup of tea while enjoying the exploits of the Game Grumps and Jacksepticeye. That's my ideal Sunday morn.
Caradius
Sleeping as well. Or have decent weather to go for a morning jog.
ArmoredGuardian
Eating food, sipping on lemonade (if we run out of lemonade, then I drink super duper cold water. THE KIND THAT FREEZES YOUR WHOLE MOUTH WHEN YOU TAKE A FEW SIPS) and sleeping. Basically...relaxing my body to get ready for another stressful week of high school. Maelstrom
An ideal sunday has me waking up sometime past noon. aka, nightlife is real and I don't see sunrise except on the wrong side of my day. there's a lot of reasons I don't believe in church, so it's great that I haven't really gone since I turned 18. I'm all about the nice people. I ain't about all the stupid stuff. to count, it has been over 10 years since I've had to deal with that stuff and I haven't regretted a bit of it. I swear, I took those lessons to heart better than most people who still go to church. An ideal sunday involves me reading a book. A simple, engaging pastime that requires less effort than most. I used to put so much effort into everything I'd burnt myself out, so one last day to do nothing was always real pleasure.

The Swordsman
My ideal Sunday would be me waking up early (despite not being a morning person) and going to Braums for a sausage biscuit before heading off to church. Unfortunately in real life I just barely wake up in time to make it to church.
