Masquerain
I can already imagine the joke comics about it if your trainer's all like while the pokemon is at red hp and it only gets worse
NickCrash
That could be a Poker Face for all I care. EndureChomp, Reversal, Flail, Sash / Sturdy Metal Burst, Sexplosion etc
Ironbound
Imagine if a bunch of Quagsires show up in a swamp background and idly watch a battle of uber legendaries, all the while maintaining their derpy, don't-give-a-damn faces.
Solarance
So, as I said in my status, Litten's and Popplio's final evo types were revealed. The types are Litten: Fire/Ground and Popplio : Water/Fighting Here is the proof If you wanna go through and see it for yourself, click this, and edit the portion where it says "icon01" to any number through 6. Skullkin
Did anyone notice that in that Serebii picture, our rival has the pokemon that's weak to ours?
Fumble
So, as I said in my status, Litten's and Popplio's final evo types were revealed. The types are Litten: Fire/Ground and Popplio : Water/Fighting Here is the proof but but but fairy popplio :[[[[ also??? I really can't see Litten being Ground :x Did anyone notice that in that Serebii picture, our rival has the pokemon that's weak to ours? Yea, maybe we'll have another Rival then. Samalet
Could also be that the owl evolves to be Grass/Ground though. The order of icons doesn't make much sense, why icon03 (ground) before icon04 (fire)?
Ironbound
Told you Popplio would be an awesome one. Water Fighting lesgo. Eat your heart out, Samurott. BWARK IS BEST Also Litten has an ass defensive typing, but an excellent offensive one. Blitz and Quake, all day long.
NickCrash
Repeating what I said at the status: They could make a burrowing owl and destroy Rowlet, as Hoehe mentioned. Grass/Flying -> Grass -> Grass/Ground I prefer Grass/Flying, to be honest. It cancels out the Water/Fighting part and makes the pokemon interesting. Definitely better than Grass/Ground. Also, a Fire/Ground type certainly cancels the SR weakness which makes Litten's popularity skyrocket.
Masquerain
I'm just gonna hold onto my hopes until the end and believe these are fake until serebii posts it to be real (or the actual websites officially). Well, not fake, but rather, that they are not about the starters final evo typing... because ugh, my disappointment if it's fireground and waterfight (or firefight and waterground) Edited May 15, 2016 by Masquerain
Ironbound
Hey at least it isn't Fire fighting and Water ground. We haven't had enough of those yet, amirite? EDIT: Daze ninjask'd me.
NickCrash
Why do you have a problem with Water/Fighting? We only have Keldeo and Poliwrath with this typing, and one of them hardly has any gimmick to be used in the higher tiers. Keldeo is a good pokemon that would be devastating if it had an ability that's not useless, and is a special attacker that has the potential to hit both spectrums. A purely physical Water/Fighting is what I wanted from this generation. I also don't understand the hate on Fire/Ground. Sure, a slow camel with a mega evolution didn't convince you of the type, but the argument on the X4 weakness is not so well-based. Gliscor, Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Magnezone, Celebi, Tyranitar, Swampert, and Volcarona have X4 weaknesses and are some of the best pokemon to use in competitive. Without taking abilities, stats, and moves into consideration, I believe the argument on typings is void. Not to mention it's a huge offensive power without factoring in non-STAB moves. Let's all agree we love the Grass/Flying owl and hope it stays that way. If it turns into a Grass/Ground type, I don't think many people will want to buy this gen, me included. But if it does stay Grass/Flying, I'm going to have so much fun with it. OWLRIGHT!!!
Autumn Rain
I'm not concluding these leaks. It could be possible that the one who added the type icons didn't upload the rest because it ain't necessary. It might be a misunderstanding like these PLACEHOLDERS could possibly be the NEW EEVEELUTIONS or something.

But if it does stay Grass/Flying, I'm going to have so much fun with it. OWLRIGHT!!! You misunderstand, kind sir. The hate is not on the typings themselves ( as far as I'm concerned anyway) MY hate and disappointment comes from the fact that I hoped to see fire/dark or fire/poison (or even fire/ghost) . I don't really care about the water thing, but since I have an affinity to the kitty and owl, I'd be disappointed if I see the kitty turn into fire/ground or -shudder- firefight And you're right...the only fire ground we have atm doesn't convince me that I'll see a cool design for the cat witht hat typing. I also don't want a grass/ground owlie. I'm fine with grass/flying. Beats grass/fighting But yeah, overall, I'm not treating these leaks as set in stone. They can be anything as already stated, and I'm sure serebii would mention them at least, like he did with the trademarks, if it was really -that- plausible that they refer to the final typings Edited May 15, 2016 by Masquerain
Spineblade
I have to wonder though, if it is the case that Litten evolves to become Fire/Ground, what would its design be like?
Ironbound
Imagine a Raikou mixed with a Lando-T, but red and with fire spewing from its tail and/or mouth. NOW LET'S HEAR YOU ROAR LIKE A TIGERDILLO!
NickCrash
Basically that. Or a bipedal tiger with mutton chops and a scraggly beard.
Masquerain
Please don't turn bipedal..please don't turn bipedal..and please don't have facial hair made out of fur... :|
Spineblade
It's surprising how many mons could have looked great staying the way they were, but then they became quadrupedal/bipedal for no real reason.
Ironbound
*looks at samurott* Yeah. Although some that went bipedal from a quadrupedal line had awesome and logical designs, like Aggron and it's equally good Mega, for example.

NickCrash
Sorry Daze, but the Mr. Robotnik mustache points towards that direction. I know you maybe didn't like it when Chesnaught got the beard, but I personally think a cat with fire mutton chops looks pretty neat. Masquerain
Wellp... I'm not sure at this point if I wanna be spoiled with dem news.. I only wish to see the starter evos and then I'll be fine till the game is out
NickCrash
This thread will be full of spoilers the following months, so I'd rather we put the new information inside spoiler tags. We are all fans of the game, but some may want to live the experience of not knowing well-ahead the details of the game. For me it's partially nostalgia, since I haven't played anything after Hoehn, lurking almost exclusively in Showdown, and am considering this time to play them. I know there are more that share these views, so please use the spoiler tags.
