YA BOY GUZMA IS DOPE AS FUCK YO.

Don't even care, Team Skull is p fucking neato so far and I love it. They're chill, neat and much less 'world domination' based than the others. Also, the female just having a Golbat is alright, since Golbat is p strong early game. If Guzma gets more mons as you fight him throughout the game, I'll be completely alright with how he only uses 2 mons.

Still.

YA BOY GUZMA.

In terms of Pokemon count Guzma and Plumeria are already better than Team Flare's scientists (1 Pokemon in the first battle and 2 in the second) and the Aqua and Magma admins in ORAS (only 1 Pokemon throughout the whole game and it's the same as the boss's ace).

Guzma will probably have a decent-sized team since all villain bosses in the past have. I think Petrel and Colress are the only admins who've ever had more than 3 Pokemon, though.

Assuming this Alola Raichu nonsense is legit, I don't see how there'd be no Alola Pikachu.

there is no A-exeggcute *cough*

plus, idk if GF would want to change its mascot

Does anyone else remember the surfing raichu episode from the cartoon? It would glow blue when it senses big waves and shit. Thus the psychic.

That was a surfing Pikachu that had blue eyes, I believe...

You don't suppose there's more than that leaked trailer? Remember, there is still something going on the 12th, and unless that leaked trailer was all we got, then there is still more to see. With Nintendo wanting to provide more and more information each month, it's possible.

So the Japanese twitter did this: https://twitter.com/Pokemon_cojp/status/763910394263969792

It roughly means "stay tuned to get to know more about these familiar Pokemon!"

Alolan forms confirmed. Or maybe we finally get confirmation that megas are still around? Plz be latter I want my Dragonitite

Are you asking for there to be a Mega Zubat as well, then?

If I had to guess, I'd guess that Dragonite would get a mega, while Zubat would get an Alolan form. Unless they both get Alolan forms... I was hoping Dragonite would get a mega so that Saphira could use it as her ace, but if Alolan Dragonite is as strong as a Mega, I'd be satisfied. Probably not, though. I'd picture a special attack-based Alolan form for it.

All I wanted were new pokemon and more megas. I'm happy to see some Gen1 pokemon receive some love, but this means they get no megas, so I do not expect too much from them. After all they are simply formes, which means a re-distribution of their stats and no boosts to them. Thick Club Ghost/Fire seems neat. The prospect of an Ice type Sand Rush seems much better though. You still have till November.

As for Raichu, I'd like you to consider the damage an electric terrain + surfer + volt tackle would do. #opnerfplz

Team Skull seems disappointing. No serious leader or grunts. Just thugs that use imported pokemon with limited potential. Their type theme seems to be Poison this far, yet anyone to use Ariados and keep it after Florinia does not deserve to represent the local evil team. So unless that Golbat is holding an Eviolite, I cannot take those pests seriously.

Edit: Why are you calling it similar to Stance Change? It's more like Zen Mode (you know, that other ability Darmanitan has..)

I'm still a bit frustrated that A-Raichu doesn't get Levitate for its ability! Come on, it's obviously floating on its tail!!!

Wishiwashi's ability seems like a reverse Zen Mode, and we all know how bad that ability is. I hope both Wishiwashi's forms are usable...

I don't know how I feel about team Skull yet. I'll wait for more information about them until I have a complete opinion for the new team.

Well, it's more ironic if A-Raichu can't learn Surf. Well, this confirms that Alolan Forms has different TM/HM (if HM is completely removed, then bye Surf) compatibility, at least for now. Hmm, that means even though they don't get stat boost, some of them will get more coverage moves than their usual forms. These match well with Professor Kukui's research in Pokemon Moves aside from the Z-Move.

For Wishiwashi, let's hope that it is this gen Magikarp/Feebas. They can evolve into something badass on its own with different ability, but pre-evo is still usable with Eviolite.

As for Team Skull, I'm not going to have a high expectation from GameFreak. Just bring back the stories to the same level as Gen 5 and that's enough, I suppose.

So there's a chance that Zubat and Dragonite will get Alolan forms, maybe even a Mega for Dragonite?

For some reason, they've added these two to the Japanese Page... Which is mighty weird
