I wasn't really sure about Type Null at first, but now I want one. Really, really bad. Assuming it isn't post game, I'm probably going to take one with me all the way. CURIE
Several reviewers got to play copies of the game. One of the things I wanted most was for them to have fixed the downright unforgivable 3d framerates, and I kinda got my wish. Because they removed 3d entirely. EDIT: I should clarify that these people only got to play for a short period of time (I think two hours), so they've only seen the early game. There could possibly be 3d in the mid to late game, but it'll only be in a mingame or something

Honestly, I never really used the 3d feature. Kinda hurt my eyes, so doesn't change much for me.
YinYang9705
Because they removed 3d entirely. I fail to see how this is a problem.
Lucky98
they might have 3d for some key/important battle (such as the legendary encounter) later on, but really I don't think it really matters. Does anyone actually use 3d? From what I've read, reviewers (including IGN) have been loving this game, especially the early stages. I really cannot wait until it's released
Sheep
I said before I'd probably be using Jangmo-o, mainly because I like dinosaurs, and now I'm like hell yeah gimme that Jangmo-o boys. That thing looks nice. Don't think it's the pseudo though, doesn't really look tough enough. It's a bit... kind of... weedy? If that makes sense. ShadowStar
I hardly think Fighter Dragon is the Psudo of this gen cuz they haven't revealed the Psudos before release since Gen 2 or so. I can see it being the Haxorus / Noivern or the gen. Possible team (speculated Popplio evolutiom)
Sheep
*ahem* Goodra Goodra's no exception though I can understand why you would say that based on what I said. Tough isn't really what I was going for, more meaty. Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence, Hydreigon, and Goodra all have a lot of substance to them, they're all very thick pokemon if you like. Though having made this list I realized that Garchomp exists, which has a comparable level of visual bulk to Jararanga so I guess it's possible. I don't think it's likely though. Raviel the Phantom
Unless a cooler dragon appears I think I'm putting jangmo-o on my team. I could see it being a psuedo actually, because it follows the trope of having a double weakness that most of them have. -Dragonite: Ice -Tyranitar: Fighting -Salamence: Ice -Garchomp: Ice -Hydregion: Fairy Jararanga: Fairy (Also the name reminds me of Durarara)
Lucky98
English Trailer was just released Type: Null evolves into Silvally. It gains the ability RKS System (Arceus System lol). It's move Multi-Attack is basically a physical Judgment. Gladion also has one at Level 53 according to the Japanese trailer, meaning the game might be longer than gen 5 or 6 . Jangmo-o evolves into Hakamo-o and then Kommo-o. Personally I prefer the Japanese names. They retain bulletproof and soundproof as their abilities. Kommo-o has a signature move called clanging scales, which lowers defense when used. Steenee and Tsareena remind me of Lilligant for some reason. It's ability Queenly Majesty blocks priority moves similar to Dazzling. Ribombee still has terrible abilities Alolan Grimer aside, I like how Muk's colors change constantly. It appears this change came about because the people of Alola brought Grimer into the region and forced them to eat garbage Ilmia specializes in Normal types and he is the first trial captain we face. Olivia is the kahuna of Akala Island and specializes in rock types. Edited October 14, 2016 by Lucky1998
Lord Chespin
So, the new trailer launched. TSAREENA IS MY PRECIOUS AND I SHALL PROTECT IT FOR ETERNITY(Cough) Um, yeah. Anyway, the new Pokemon look awesome. Muk looks fabulous.
Tringus
Sooooo many new evolutions! Too bad the Starters' final evolutions aren't included. I'm still liking Silvally's name, because it doesn't lose its similarity to its Japanese name. At first, I thought AR System meant "Arceus Replica System" or "Action Replay System" (Mostly as a joke), but after seeing its English name RKS System, I feel that it is even closer to replicating Arceus. (Arc-Key-Us). Seriously, say Arceus, and say RKS. It's uncanny! Alolan Muk looks fabulous as hell, but I'm STILL tempted to name Kommo-o its Japanese name. Jararanga sounds badass. TimTim
Want to get my hands on Kommo-o and Tsareena so bad, Queenly Majesty stops priority moves, interesting to say the least
Swampellow
Queens Majesty is cool, plus it looks like she will be fast, and possibly get some good setup moves, which could mean it would be hard to stop, especially when you remember that things like custap explosion are also considered priority.
bepe
Custap shouldn't be stopped by its ability, custap doesn't change a moves priority level it just makes that move go first in its normal priority bracket.
pyrromanis
custap explosion are also considered priority. Custap lets you move 1st in your priority bracket, it doesn't give +1 priority

Chase
I don't know man, I'm still not digging Type:Null's line, but it is definitely similar to Arceus - and if it's able to be used in formats Arceus isn't, then it's a good Pokemon with a neat story. --- I love how uncanny Jangmo-o's line is to Garchomp's. You actually see the trailer USE Gabite and Garchomp as the trainer's Pokemon when encountering the evolutions - which leads me to believe that Jangmo-o's line is indeed the psuedolegendary line of Alola. Clanging Scales/Symbols...whatever..... is a small letdown for a personal move. though. The thing the strikes me is that it's "Fighting" type seems to come from it wearing similar light plate armor to an early Samurai. This Pokemon then, seems to be inspired by the roots of eastern early civilazation. How this is relevant to the move? Clanging Scales could be similar to a gong. When someone mentioned above the fact that Pseudos tend to have a nasty double-weakness - and it triggered the immense joy of realizing that Ice type moves will only do normal damage against Kommo-o. Screw you, Ice types. --- I don't say this often for Fairy type 'Mons....but I want Tsarreena (or however it's spelled). That thing is awesome. (Nick, you mentioned getting Kirlia and Gardevoir vibes - and that also coincides with Fairy types I actually like. Gardevoir is pretty neat, despite Fairies being lAAAAAAAAAAAAME-) --- The bug type Pokemon thing is finally revealed. Wasn't that teased in an earlier trailer? --- Does A-Muk (hahaha.....running A-Muk...it's a pun)........... get Crunch or something? What move did it use last? It's design is much improved fro A-Grimer, and the teeth kinda make sense. --- Olivia looks pretty neat.

No Fairy typing to be found here. Yes, I think so. In any case, I'm hoping for one more evolution for Cutiefly & Ribombee. <3 it's wearing a tiny scarf, so adorable gahhh. Chase
Well, clearly I was not paying attention to details. I'll take the bad news about still being weak to ice for whatever reason in stride knowing there's not fairy type for the other Pokemon. It's a win-lose scenario I guess. No big deal. (Gimmie Mach Punch. Stupid Ice types...)
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted October 14, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted October 14, 2016 Alolan Muk is very colorful. I definitely wasn't expecting that kind of design, but I like it. It looks like it's been painted. Considering Tsareena's kick move, I wonder if it's sort of like a physical Lilligant. Ribombee's scarf is adorable. I might use the final evolution on my team. Olivia is hot. If the island kahunas have type specialties like the trial captains, that would make Hala Fighting, since he was shown using Crabrawler in a trailer. If the kahunas are also the E4 equivalents, that would make Olivia the first E4-class trainer to use Rock types, as every Rock specialist before has been a Gym Leader. Also I thought Ilima was female before, but seeing them in full they look androgynous. (I'm not sure if GF would make a non-binary character, but I'm using "them" because I honestly can't tell whether Ilima is male or female)
