Cepheus
Vega is the most technical and the fastest character in SFV (I'm assuming we are talking 'Claw' - regarding all the renaming from Japanese to Western) He has two stances, with and without Claw. where his stance without Claw is arguably a bit better. As for Supers, in SFV called 'Critical Arts' (CA for short), which have been a staple in most Beat-em-Ups for AGES, since you played MVC3 you know kinda what to expect... a super-powered special signature Move. To succesfully use them you need to learn to 'hit confirm' - to use them in combos to make sure you hit the opponent while he is not blocking. your Super-meter has 3 bars to perform your Super/CA you have to fill up all 3 bars, and it uses all 3. However with 1 bar you can perform an EX-Move - a powered up version of a special move with higher damage / range or other specialties. The V-Gauge and the V-Skill and V-Triggers are new and SFV exclusive. The V-Gauge ranges from 2 to 3 Bars, depending on the character. Every Character has a special V-Skill, which can be used regardless of of your V-Gauge and helps you fill it up. (Nash, for example, can absorb Projectiles like Hadoken) The V-Trigger can be used used when the V-Gauge is completely full and, again, is dependand on the character (Nash teleports behind the enemy, allowing for great combos / Ryu eletrifies his attacks for more damage and Stun and so on) unfortunatley, the game doesn't really tell you what the V-skill/V-Trigger actually does (unless it has been patched...) and you have to learn it by yourself / read it up on guides and then there is the V-Reversal which is a counter attack (as listed above in the Button-configuration screeenshot) and can be used with 1 Bar of the V-Gauge
Godot
Wow that's almost exactly what I have. Instead of V-Trigger I have it on V-Skill, I need it so I can MUSCLE FLEX more easily. I used to have V-Skill on L1, but I swapped it so that it would be easier to do the "get off me" thing that costs V-gauge.

I don't think I've used it in combat once. Usually there are instant punishes anyways. What are you going to use that for, to counter jabs? Godot
There are some moments in the game where people corner you and you can't seem to get them the hell off of you, so you use the V-Gauge force them off of you. Nash's is kinda cool because he teleports out of a corner. It's really handy when fighting characters like Ken, Laura, Necalli, and Vega. Necalli is all about cornering the fuck out of you. His Super is the only super I find myself using because it instantly drags you to the corner.

For some reason it still combos off of Headbutts and shit. In hindsight, I guess it's also really good against Dhalsim. I've had trouble punishing Dhalsim before, and the counter could actually be an answer.
Godot
Dalsim and FANG are just annoying to fight.
