My silly Undertale theory [SPOILER WARNING]

Hello there, if you're reading this you probably have some interest in Undertale.

First off Toby Fox out did himself with this masterpiece, and i'm sure you know there is a lot of mystery surrounding the games lore.

I have watched a few fan theories and some are really interesting but i have had a theory of my own for a while now, If you don't want spoilers for all 3 endings

you should stop reading now. with that out the way i will go on with my theory

Ok so in the games intro we see a human fall into the underground we all thought it was frisk but we learnt it was actually the nameless first human who people call

'Chara' i don't like to accept the name as 'Chara' for me the name of the first human is your own name, the only problem with this is that if you name yourself 'chara'

then the games hints that it is indeed the first humans name. But my theory is not about the first humans name... My theory is that Frisk did not fall into the underground

we never get to see him/her fall in. You just appear on the bed of buttercups. I don't believe my theory to be 100% true, but i think there is some real proof it is plausible.

Have you never wondered why it was so easy for 'Chara' to appear on a genocide run, i don't think its just because your violence resonated with them i think its because

Frisk is a reincarnation of 'Chara' and that is why you appear on the buttercups, those buttercups are above chara's grave. For whatever reason 'Chara' was reincarnated as Frisk and you can easily revert back to your old ways. 'Chara' wants your soul in exchange for restoring the timeline after they destroy it so why would 'Chara' want your soul if Chara is you, well i don't think Chara is you its more like 'Chara' was you, and maybe 'Chara' could get some real control over you with your soul since you can stop a genocide at multiple points 'Chara' does not have control over you but if you give them your soul 'Chara' gains control as they manifest after the endings of a true pacifist run that was completed after a genocide run.

I'm not saying that this is what I 100% believe but it was eating me up that i had not shared it somewhere so here it is. I would love to hear your feedback.

I think it was at least stated somewhere in the game that Frisk DID fall into the underground, and it's stated that some of Chara's soul lingered on their grave, thus leeching on Frisk when they fell on the bed of flowers.

Though that is a cool theory. c:

I'll probably add more later, especially my thoughts about Chara as a whole.
