then i lost against random meteor grunt #4 because i wasn't paying attention, ahaha. the plot also changes a lot depending on whenever you give blake the ring or not, didya know? anyway blake got whipped too, and i'm starting to think that i need to train up a brand new blaziken, tis one is useless.

also mewtwo an' terra. i changed the moveset of my gardevoir a lil, grass knot was awesome against terra fatasses, then misty terrain + moonblast against garchomp. sleep wwell sweet prince.

my mons are still pretty frail thou, i rely a lot on light screens/reflect to make them survive... considering getting something with calm mind/bulk up + baton pass... Maybe.

Actually, I just dumped my turtwig in the box because it's quite inferior to Mamoswine and Rhypeior as a Ground type, and easily worse than Chesnaught and Tangrowth as a Grass type with bulk, plus gets out damaged by Roserade in every way.

The last one is still kinda bad, BC SpDef is literally 1. IMO I'd breed it with something with a good SpDef IV until you get something worthwhile.

Superpower is a waste, dearie, because it offers the same coverage as Earthquake, which gets STAB and is a lot stronger without the stat drops. Also, Torterra SpAtk is garbage, even had you had good SpAtk IVs (which as usual you don't) so go full physical with the eventual EQ/Wood Hammer/Some Rock Move/Synthesis.

You should have some Rock TM, right? Or at least you'll get Rock Tomb soon enough if you progress vwith the story.

And he's, glad you went through Charlotte and the rest of the stuff easily enough. Yes, I am aware of the ring plot, I hope you acted honourably and didn't give it to him instead of being greedy for Waterfall, which you get anyway afterwards (and if you did give him the ring, you're screwed over a lot of plot and an eventual Shiny Charm. Yeah.)

didn't know superpower was a special move, welp. i have a tendency to assume that fighting moves minus aura sphere are all physical.

i did the right thing with blake. i gave it to him at first by accident, just pressing z without seeing the dialogue box, but apparently the game punishes sinning like an angry god and crashed right after, so i had to redo the whole convo plus re-saving heather

and yeah... finally. i wonder how many days have progressed in game since i left the dying lesbians that totally don't have, say, a lapras that makes staircases out of moves such as, say, waterfall to die at the bottom of a river.

and thanks for putting up with this. i image it must be similar to repeatedly explaining variations of why the triangle peg doesn't go into the square hole to a very persistent toddler who's counter-argument boils down to "but i WANT it to"

Superpower is a physical move. It's not special.

But it's ASS in Torterra, because Fighting and Ground both almost hit the same things, and Torterra being a Ground Type will use EQ much better because:

1. It's STAB so it is 150 Base Power as opposed to Superpower's 120.

2. EQ doesn't lower your attack and defence, like superpower does.

Am I plain now? That's what I meant with my talk about coverage.

Anyway, Torterra uses Grass/Rock/Ground coverage well, and all of it physical. Slap on synthetis and have fun.

And yeah, there's a lot more crazybshit to come.
