Strider vs Silent Requiem

... It seems as though retreating was a bit of a bad idea.

Morgan scowled at Silent Requiem as he already claimed that he had already won... then she got a bit confused as to what her opponent had in mind. What exactly was he-

Morgan's question was answered with a weird high-pitched sound... and one hell of a headache, which left her very disoriented and unable to move... Good lord, did that hurt. She didn't even notice that Silent Requiem was charging at her until it was too late. Her whole body shook from the impact, almost making her loose her glasses as she heard the blades grind against her armor. It didn't do a ton of damage, but it did do some damage nonetheless. Morgan fixed the position of her glasses, placing her other hand over her head to help ease her headache. "Was that... his signature?" She thought to herself. It had to have been. There's nothing else it could possibly be. She had to admit, it wasn't much of a wonder as to how he got this far. Half of his opponents probably had to have given up or even fainted from such a thing. Wondering about that doesn't exactly help the situation, though. Luckily, Morgan thinks that she has an idea of how it works. "...If that works the way that I think it does..." She pondered for a brief second. "Then I have to be on the defensive for it to work, maybe?" Then she shook her head. "...Maybe not." She managed to put her mind to work despite the headache. "No. I have to do something to give him control of the situation." A smirk grew on Morgan's face. "That has to be it..." Now would be a good time for a plan... and she's got the prefect one to work with.

Strider used the jets once again to jump backwards... again. However, it was a much shorter distance than last time. She just needed him to think he had the advantage.

"System, draw all power from the jets, the railgun, and the machine guns and activate the EAS."

...Command accepted... Activating EAS...

Morgan's jets then flickered off and the entire body of her mech started to glow a faint greenish color as it landed. She immediately switched to her shotgun again and took aim, waiting for Silent Requiem to attack again before unloading on him... That's if she got the chance, anyways.

Adam vs. Strider

Adam looked at his opponent in confusion. She was taking up a defensive stance already? That was just asking him to play aggressively and force her into a position that would let him trigger his signature again. Either she had no clue what had just happened, or she had something up her sleeve. Considering he'd had the advantage thus far, he wanted to believe it was the former, but nobody on this level was that stupid. Obviously something was up, but he had no way to test the waters except to play along. Shrugging inside the cockpit, he charge forward. He took the shotgun blast at a slight angle, preventing it from dealing its maximum damage, but still enough to thin out his armor slightly. No big deal, just a scratch. Perhaps she thought the shotgun blast would do more damage than that? If that was her gamble then she was sorely mistaken. Now confident she had no real plan, Adam pushed himself to maximum speed and charged at her, intending to knock her over or back and trigger his signature again. But when he made contact something strange happened. A bright green flash initiated, knocking Adam backwards. Confusion swept his features and even became apparent in his landing, which was quite sloppy for a sphere. Obviously Strider did have something up her sleeve, and he had fallen for it. she wasn't an armor mech, but she did have a defensive special ability, that must have been it. Obviously simply ramming her wouldn't work, but he was too wary to try the blade just yet. It seemed he would simply have to wait and see what Strider tried to do next

(OOC: I figure it's alright if I hit you when you're shielding, if it's not I can change it. Ramming her without the blades won't do all that much damage, it's more intended for just pushing the opponent around, which is why he ricocheted off)

((OOC: Don't worry about it. While she does have some movement even with her shield up, it's not like she can dodge easily as it is. The shield is taking power from her speed, after all.))

Strider vs Silent Requiem

Morgan staggered a bit from the impact, causing her to lose balance for a second before standing upright again. But apparently, she wasn't the only one that lurched backward. It would seem as though her opponent wasn't expecting the shield itself, was knocked backward (as intended), and made what seemed like an awkward landing, which was also pretty weird for a spherical... well... anything. Meh... whatever. It wasn't all that weird as much as she wasn't expecting it. She took her mind off of whatever the hell he just managed to quickly look over at a separate screen, which monitored how much energy that has been accumulated through EAS.

...It wasn't much.

She frowned slightly as she finished looking over the monitor. She doesn't have much going for her right now in terms of her energy. In fact, the charge didn't really do much damage... and speaking of damage, he wasn't using his blades at all. Looks like he really was trying to knock her off of her feet. Morgan's focus shifted back to the matter at hand. She decided to keep the shield up for a bit longer as she followed the same action as before, which was to take aim at her opponent and open fire when he got close.

Adam vs. Strider

Unfortunately, Strider didn't do anything in particular. Adam wasn't really sure what to do now. He was so certain he had the win within his grasp, but he had given up all his advantages. Taunting her now would be pointless, he was clearly at a disadvantage. He could no longer use his signature as a surprise attack. Ramming her did nothing. The only other option he had was to go all out, he'd blown his ace, but he still had his king. But if she could counter that, he'd be completely out of options. Still, it was his best bet. He opened two of his machine guns up and fired a small burst off. Not at his opponent, but at the ground. These hits caused a small gash to form in the ground, followed by the most minuscule of ramps. He then charged directly at Strider. He passed over the odd groove in the ground and was launched up into the air. He extended blades on an axis perpendicular to the ground, shooting towards Strider like a buzzsaw from above. If he was correct, gravity would prevent him from losing all of the strength behind his attack. Meaning that his blades would stay in contact with Strider for longer. The only flaw was that he wasn't certain how the shield would interact with the blades. If it prevented him from dealing damage he'd be in trouble, but if he was still able to deal damage there was a slight chance that a strike as powerful as this this could be a fatal blow, or at least surprise Strider enough to let him use his signature again.

Strider vs Silent Requiem

Morgan wasn't expecting Silent Requiem to launch himself into the air like he did. In reaction, she quickly shifted her aim upward to try to match her opponent's elevation and fired once more. She took the hit immediately afterward. While she did succeed in getting the shot off, she wasn't sure how much of the blast actually hit him, if it managed to at all. But that's not all that important right now. The EAS also managed to absorb most of his attack, but it didn't stop him from knocking her on the cold, hard ground. And on top of that Morgan thinks she heard that grinding sound again, which probably means that he did a bit of damage to the armor as well. Silent Requiem didn't hold back this time, and she knew it. That attack put her into an unfortunate position, though. She did manage to get quite a bit of energy, but she's pretty sure that she had also satisfied the conditions for his signature, which was both a good thing and a bad thing. She would be getting even more energy, but she would also be getting another major headache, whether she wanted to or not. She set the mech's motion controls to try to get back up, then she covered her ears and prepared for the worst.

Silent Requiem vs. Strider

The attack proved more successful than Adam had expected. Sure he'd taken a good bit of damage from that shotgun blast, but he'd also managed to trigger the conditions for his Signature again. He came to an abrupt landing behind Strider's position and turned to face his opponent, which to an outsider looked like he was just sitting still. Strider was about halfway through climbing back to her feet, her back seemed to be exposed. The odd construct strapped to it was glowing, perhaps that was where the shield came from. His course of action seemed obvious, take out that strange device and take out the shield. "Alpha Screech." He commanded his systems. The sound vibrations once again permeated the stadium, immobilizing the spectators and Strider alike. He charged straight for Strider's back, extending three rows of blades to ensure he got the maximum damage output. He struck the strange glowing construct with all his might, throwing both his mech and his willpower into the attack. A his scream of determination was echoed by the soundless screech emitted by his Signature. The blades ground into the presumed shield generator, driving as hard as the could at shield and armor alike. Adam couldn't really know what the attack would do, but he had an advantage and he was doing everything he could to press it

(OOC: Okay, I just have to say, this fight is really, really fun)

Mommo vs. Erm... It's not even a vs. anymore...

Cuddled inside her mech, Mommo could only really wait as the HUNTER tore apart the thick layers of armor that protected her. This won't do... She's lost. She couldn't overcome the HUNTER. She was gonna fall down on the list now, that was for sure. Wait, why wasn't she stopping... She got her incapacitated already, so wh-

Everything else that happened was a blur of blinding warmth and tears streaming down her face, as if forced by the evergrowing pressure which was being subjected against her lips, piercing them through and through and planting the tongue deep inside... She wasn't sure what this all was, but... She couldn't breathe... HUNTER should let her go...

Strider vs Silent Requiem

Despite Morgan being prepared for her opponent's signature, along with the headache that followed, she wasn't entirely prepared for what came after. The blades cut through shield and armor alike, which caused the mech's system to sound an alarm much different than the one before.

Warning! Warning! EAS generator taking damage! The system repeated both the warning and the siren constantly.

Morgan, still clutching her head from the headache, was a bit surprised by the alarm. While she knew it was a possibility, she was still caught off guard by the assault and started to shout out a system command. "System, activate the accel-" Morgan stopped abruptly as she remembered what happened last time. She didn't want to make the same mistake twice. "...Actually, scratch that." She looked over at the other screen again as she realized that she had taken numerous hits since the last time. She had plenty of energy to take the shot now. Of course, she needed to shake him off. Strider instead spun around, attempting to push him away with a backhand from her gauntlets. She then spoke a different command, one that she had been waiting for a while now. "System... Initiate Revenge Blast!"

Command accepted... Initiating Revenge Blast...

As soon as she spoke the command, the entirety of the green illumination that surrounded her mech seemed to converge into a cannon that slung over the right shoulder, which then pointed directly at Silent Requiem, ready to fire.

Silent Requiem vs. Strider

The giant energy blast blew through Silent Requiem's armor like it was nothing, leaving a charred heap of vaguely spherical metal. Adam slammed his fist against the controls in anger. He knew full well he could have won that, but he'd been too cocky. If Lord were here, she would scold him for letting his pride overcome him. "Pride is a tool to use." She would say, "When it becomes a driving force, you will shortly find yourself crashing and burning."

She was certainly watching the match, and he was in for a lecture next he encountered her.

"Well played, girl." He told Strider, "That was a close fight, I feel that one more good hit would have done you in, but you held out."

Adam allowed his mech to disappear from around him and then calmly walked off the field, trying to conceal the fact that he was seething inside

Sloth Chapter - Travel Phase

The competitors stood on a platform, before them was a golden train. Interplanar train travel was nothing new, but the one in front of them wasn't just any dimensional train, it was a luxury train. Seven cars, a luggage car, a luscious dining car, a mechanic's car, a performance car, and three sleeping cars. Each and every one furnished with the finest that the Planes could offer. The contestants were each led to their rooms, the top four seats in one car and the other four in another. They were asked to wait a short while until the train took off, then they would be allowed to wander freely for three hours. They were notified that the Diviner was monitoring their mech's regeneration. And also given the choice to attend a concert by Black Idol or to go to the food car for a meal. The journey was to take twelve hours total, during most of which the contestants would be confined to their rooms for safety reasons

Adam - Attend Black Idol's Concert (2 Actions)

Adam waited patiently for the free roaming time to begin, he didn't particularly have anything he wanted to do so the wait was of little consequence. When Black Idol's voice announced over the intercom, "Okay everyone, you're free to move about the train." He shrugged his shoulders and stood up. There was a teleporter in one corner which would take him to the other cars--traveling between them physically was literal suicide in the void between Planes. Having no real interest in checking up on his mech's repair and not feeling particularly hungry, he halfheartedly decided to attend Black Idol's concert. He keyed in the transporter to take him to the performance car, double checked that it was locked to his biosignature, and teleported. The car housed three rows of five seats, likely it was built for slightly larger companies, and a small stage which currently had nothing on it. The lighting was dim but didn't ruin visibility. In the corner was a small bar which under normal circumstances likely held a selection of fine wines but right now just had some soda set out. Black Idol had yet to arrive at the car, but the concert wasn't for another ten or fifteen minutes so Adam wasn't too worried. He grabbed a cola from the bar and took up a seat in the middle row to wait

Hellfire Knight - Visit the food car

Hiroki's brief burst of confidence from her easy victory earlier had mostly evaporated by the time they had been herded to the train; it didn't help that she was wearing an outfit that was both uncomfortable and difficult to move in. She tried not to gawk at the vehicle despite its luxuriousness, and felt that she mostly succeeded, in no small part due to the disguise making it difficult to really appreciate. Her stomach groaned, however; today had been stressful and she had eaten light, so once they were free to move about, she shuffled her way over to the food car and ordered a light meal.

Tai - Visit the food car

Tai wasn't really concerned about how the train was decorated, he only cared about the word "food". As soon as he was allowed to move around freely, he rushed to the food car and grabbed a plateful of meat, fish and some boiled lettuce. He sat down at a table, and before you knew it, he finished the meal and was ready for another round. He probably forgot about the horrible loss already. Not only that, he also ignored the lone person covered in a dark cloak completely. An amazing feat considering the cloak makes the person stand out in the glittery restaurant.

Hiroki shoots a glance at the stranger from under her hood, and then hurriedly returns to her food. Please leave me alone, please leave me alone, please leave me alone, she repeated to herself mentally. She wondered why the man was simply ignoring her; she fully expected some sort of interrogation from him, particularly since her outfit looked even more out of place now that they had left Sloth.

Tai suddenly felt a sharp glare. He looked around to see if there was anyone else around. Finally, he saw the cloaked stranger. He held still for a few seconds, and then proceeded to grab a plate of steak and fries.

"Ah, the Hellfire Knight." He thought to himself. "Food first, socials later."

He finished his plate again, and went for a bowl of seafood soup.

Do something Characterising Involving another Loli

Kagari stretched, catlike, as she tried to decide which car to pick. The memory of her extensive session with Mommo lingered sweetly in her mind, causing her to lick her lips. Her body started heating up, and she contemplated trying to find out where Mommo was and continuing her ministrations. She had, after all, been ultimately unable to properly fulfill her promise to make Mommo unable to live without the taste of Kagari's body. As she resolved to do this, however, her plans were changed by an unexpected tug.

To be exact, two unexpected tugs. Her breasts were currently straining against the confines of her shirt, pointing vigorously at the food car. Kagari smiled and stroked the top of her breasts slowly through the gap in her half-buttoned shirt to calm the raging twin beasts as she entered the food car. The first thing she saw was the cloaked figure, eating while attempting - and failing - to make themself look less conspicuous.

Kagari's breasts tingled in excitement and confirmation when she pointed them in the general direction of the cloaked figure, causing Kagari's slight smile to split into a full predatory grin. Silently walking up to the cloaked figure, she threw her hands around the person and pressed her breasts against the figure's back, whispering into their ear:

"Hello there, little loli. I~ Found~ You~"

Say/Do something characterizing - 1 point

Hiroki had glanced back toward the entrance at the sound of someone entering, and had visibly flinched upon seeing said someone before steadfastly returning her attention to her plate. She nearly squeaked in outright terror when said someone hugged her from behind. "I-I don't know what you're talking about," she said hurriedly, realizing too late that she forgot to whisper into the device on her chin. Her natural voice sounded out just a split second behind the harsh artificial one she'd been using, the high and somewhat faint sound betraying her lie. She attempted to disengage herself from Kagari's grasp.

Tai finished his soup, and looked around. He noticed the tall woman pressing against the person in a dark cloak. To him, they looked more like friends, so he decided to not bother with them.

He walked past the bizarre duo and took a plate of pumpkin pie to his table.

Strider vs. Silent Requiem (Final)

Morgan watched in surprise as she realized how effective the Revenge Blast turned out to be. She knew that it would be powerful with how many hits she took, but she didn't expect it to tear through all of that armor. Especially since Silent Requiem was an SAD build. Maybe it was weak to lasers or something. She thinks she's figuring out what just happened... Wait a minute...

"Did... I just win?" She says, talking to herself. Her competitive side receding, Morgan gasps as her concern shifts from herself to her opponent as she finally realizes that she just blasted a huge, gaping hole in his armor. Was he alright? She hopes that she didn't just completely blast her opponent into oblivion, but there was no way to tell.

"Well played, girl." Morgan hears over the intercom. "That was a close fight, I feel that one more good hit would have done you in, but you held out." She then saw Silent Requiem emerge from his own mech and walk off the field. Morgan had a mix of emotions right now. Relief, a small satisfaction from her competitive side, but she mostly felt guilty about this whole thing. He was... pretty cocky, so that had to have been an upset for him. Morgan waited for him to exit the arena before she got out of her mech and began to exit the arena herself, trying to hide her guilt as she did so.

Morgan- Attend Black Idol's Concert (2 Points)

Morgan stayed in her room for a little while longer, even after they had been permitted to move freely. Mainly because she still had a lot on her mind. She shook her head and finally began to walk towards the door, trying to figure out what she should even do. She wasn't hungry, so the food car was out of the question. She didn't have any questions for the Diviner, so that was another idea eliminated. The only other thing that she could think of was to go to the concert. Actually, that was probably the best idea she had all day. Maybe some music can help her take her mind off things... She approached the teleporter and punched in the coordinates to the performance car and waited a couple of seconds for it to process the command. Then she seemed to vanish into thin air as she was teleported to the performance car.

Morgan found herself in a dimly lit room with a few rows of seats facing a small stage and a bar in the corner with various sodas set out for the audience. She wasn't really thirsty at all, but it would probably be a good idea to have a drink, anyway. Better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it, as they say. She walked over to the bar and took a look at the numerous bottles sitting on the counter. Root Beer, Ginger Ale, Dr. Spark, MC Cola, etcetera, etcetera... nothing seemed all that interesting to her as she went down the line... and then she saw it. Chorno's Strawberry Paradise.

"Oh. My. Gods..." Morgan said quietly. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the heavenly drink and wiped her glasses with a cloth. It didn't really sell well where she lived, so it was rare for any store, let alone any person, in the vicinity to have it. For it to be here at all was a blessing. The strawberry-flavor addict put her glasses back on, gingerly took a bottle, and took a seat in the back row. With the best soda in the world in her hands and the music about to start, she was going to be in paradise.

The moment the cloaked figure's high-pitched voice tickled Kagari's ear, she grinned in triumph.

"Gotcha. Can't fool my ears with a voice like that. You're a loli, for sure. A cute one, at that. Can't deceive these two."

As she spoke, she rubbed her twin breasts against the cloaked figure's back. She reached around the figure and cupped its chin with her right hand, bringing its ear closer to her mouth as she whispered.

"This build. This height. Such. Perfect. Beauty. Though... I have to wonder. Why hide the glorious perfection that is your true appearance?"

As she spoke, she continued to stroke the figure's masked chin seductively.

Hiroki froze for a moment, paralyzed with sudden fear and inability to respond. Then, she almost hurled herself sideways out of her seat and hopefully out of Kagari's embrace. Unfortunately for the nervous girl, this process resulted in an immediate tumble to the floor, dislodging the device from her chin and causing her cloak to mostly fall off of her, revealing the black, violet-accented blouse and skirt beneath. The stupid shoes, I knew the shoes were overkill, I should have just pretended to be a hunchback or something. . . She frantically tried to gather up the cloak and fallen voice changer as she struggled back to her feet, her face alight with embarrassment. "S-s-stop it! Why can't people take me seriously!? No one takes me seriously, what the hell?"

Kagari blinked in surprise as the loli threw herself out of her chair. As the cloak fell away, revealing her girlish clothes, Kagari let out a soft sigh as her mental suspicions were confirmed.

The girl was truly a loli among lolis. Such... beauty. Such... perfection. At that moment, her world inverted. Here was the perfect beauty, the perfect girl, the perfect loli, the ideal after which she had chased for so long! All culminating in this one girl, before her.

As the girl's face tinged bright red, blushing in embarrassment, Kagari had to suppress a squeal. Though she had to wonder why the girl displayed such a pained expression. It was surely a shame for such a wonderful face to be coloured by such a sad look. She walked over to the girl who was struggling to get up, then took the girl's delicate chin in the slender fingers of her right hand, tilting it upwards to face her, gazing into her purple eyes. Such brilliant eyes. Such wonderful eyes. She locked eyes with the girl, holding her gaze, and spoke her heart. Her face was honest and sincere, with none of its prior seductive charm.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I always take beautiful lolis like you seriously. You could say they're the one thing I do take seriously. I'm being deathly serious right now. Even if I'm never serious at all about fights, about battles, about anything. I'm serious. Right now. And I'm seriously telling you, that I've seriously fallen in love with you."

Kagari pulled back, releasing the girl's chin. She held out her hand, offering her assistance to help the girl back to her feet. A warm smile graced her lips as she offered her friendship.

Hiroki felt a mixture of emotions. Lingering embarassment over the situation, shock at the sudden confession of love, happiness that someone seemed to actually take her seriously. . . and suspicion. "A-are you sure? This isn't just some kind of setup for a joke so you can make fun of me?" Her expression hardened for a moment, the undercurrent of suspicion becoming an edge of preemptive anger. "Because I'll never forgive you if that's what this is!" Still. . . She seems honest enough, what if she's telling the truth? Her expression faded back to vulnerable indecision, her hand starting to reach out to take Kagari's and then seemingly running out of steam halfway.

Kagari watched as the girl's hand wavered, then reached out and grabbed it, pulling her to her feet. She maintained eye contact with the girl as she spoke.

"I try not to make jokes. I'm not very good at them. I don't know you. I don't know who you are, I don't know where you're from, I don't know what caused you to become so bitter. I don't even know your name. But despite all that I don't know, I do know that my heart has been racing for the past few minutes, and every nerve in my body is telling me that I'm in love with you. I don't know why. Perhaps I loved a girl like you in a past life?" She paused top indulge in a self-derisive giggle. "Like I said, I'm not very good at jokes."

Seeing the girl look so vulnerable, it took all Kagari had to hold herself back from hugging the girl tightly. But that was not what the girl would want. Instead, she held her at arms' length and stared even more intensely into her eyes, her gaze unwavering.

"This isn't a joke. And I don't ask that you give me an answer. Not right now, in any case. But I do wish for your friendship, and your name."

Hiroki was quiet for a moment. "Okay," she said heavily, releasing a breath she hadn't quite noticed she was holding. "I-I believe you." She frowned for a moment. "I still mean what I said though." She was actually trembling slightly, and not just because she was still standing on uncomfortably tall platform shoes. Please be real, please be real, no one ever really likes me, please. . . "My name is Yukimura Hiroki. I-It's nice to meet you."

"And I'm Koizumi Kagari. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Smiling, Kagari took the seat next to where Hiroki had been seated, then gestured at the vacant seat. The usual lust that overtook her when she was in the presence of a loli was nowhere to be found, leaving an aching desire to know more about Hiroki.

She smiled wryly. It wasn't like her to be this in control. Then again, she hadn't really been acting like herself for the last few minutes. Not since she had set eyes on Hiroki's unmasked form. It was odd, but... it felt nice.

Hiroki slid her feet backward out of the shoes she wore, gathering them up with her cloak and voice changer before moving to take the seat Kagari offered. Her now-bare feet struck an odd contrast with her environment and her outfit as she stepped over, setting the bundle down behind the seat before putting herself in it. She had a small smile on her face, though her brow still wrinkled ever so slightly with worry and shyness.
