Cyanna Cyril Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 Greetings Reborn community. My name is Cyanna Cyril, and I'm a twenty year old college student studying computer science. My life goal is and has been to create video games ever since I was a child. I have always been a Pokemon fan since a very young age, trying to wake up before 7:00 am on weekdays just to catch episodes and rigorously training various pokemin in Blue Version's to level 100 (Kangaskhan was a favorite). I fell in love with Reborn because lately I'd been having problems with the new games, whether they were too easy or they were too expensive. But Reborn was completely different. Not only was this the first, real challenging game in a long time, it was also beautifully well done (and free ). The story and characters of world were compelling, real, and absolutely relatable. I've managed to finish one run through of the current 15 episodes of the game, and I'm planning on doing it again, as soon as finals are done (Please send help! Stats is evil!). I do have a couple questions that I wanted to ask but wasn't sure where to ask yet. In general, I'm interested in how the game got started and developed and if there's any way to contribute to the project at all. Also, I'm interested in how everything in the game is balanced from start to finish. Thank you for this wonderful game and I hope the community is just as great! But pretty much the game started after an online battling league when someone floated the idea of a game and Ame decided to do it. And I don't think there's anything you can do to assist with development, but when Ame has something she'll make a public development thread and you could contribute to that. Enjoy your stay here.
