Tacos
I have a very important question for all of you! Those of you who play Sm4sh or plan to in the near future, what console are you or will you be using? And for those who use both, which do you prefer? Aurorix
I have both 3DS and Wii U, I prefer the Wii U version but I use the 3DS version a lot more than Wii U. x3
DiLimiter
I most definitely prefer the Wii U version. I use it a lot more than my 3DS version as well since it actually has all the DLC I've bought for the game on it. If you don't mind my asking, what's the reason for this poll if any? Shanco
IMO it's ultimately a matter of taste, but it's hard getting everything you want to do out on the 3DS version, and you can get the Smash amiibos on the Wii U version without buying a New 3DS or that extra peripheral. So Wii U is my personal preference.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Well I don't have a Wii U sadly... XD. Though I have a feeling I'd probably prefer that... I jsut want an actual controller in my hand. The controls on 3DS feel wonky at best most of the time. If I did have a Wii U, I ahve a feeling with a normal style of controller... I'd have a lot easier time actually learnign the game and getting used to it...
Shing
I'll be getting Wii U. I have a heavy dislike of 3ds limit control options and i'll use Wii U controllers(Or gamecube) more when i get it. I'm still be using 3ds, but Wii U is just much more better as 3ds have it's problems.
Dark Desire
i have both, 3ds is much easier to pick up and play and i prefer the 3ds analog stick rather then any of the wii u/gamecube controllers
FraRPetO
Wii U, of course.
Combat
I don't own a WiiU, so I'm stuck with the 3DS version.
Tringus
I have both, but after playing the Wii U version, I find myself enjoying it much more.
Omega_Ra1der
It comes down to your preferences. In my opinon since I heavily prefer the GC controller over the 3ds controller, and wii u is more universally played. You can still use the 3ds as a wii u controller for smash but generally wii u is superior.
Flux
Wii U's my preferred console for Sm4sh.
Hexagoen
Look, i would love to play in the wii u, but seeing as i am probably not gonna get one sometime soon, since my parents arent gonna get it, and im saving for a PC set, probably not gonna play the wii u. Im most likely just gonna skip with wii u, and buy whatever the next gen consol for nintendo is gonna be. I do have a 3ds, i just havent used it in a while, so im probably rusty AF

Zargerth
Wii U version. I haven't played the 3DS version after I managed to destroy my previous 3DS' circle pad.
Maelstrom
Wiiu with gc controllers. But to be fair, the 3ds version got more use cuz portable.
Shadow Tack
wii u is strictly better
Aercau
I prefer Wii U. 3DS is nice portability, but graphics are hard to ignore on Wii U. However, to "Counter-act" portability, since the Wii U gamepad is, essentially, mini-tv - you can play smash on Wii U on-the-go too ...you'll just need a power outlet. And I'm certain that i recall some vehicles having a outlet ... unless you driving (no bueno)
