ArmoredGuardian
English subbed episode, also look at those tears!!!
Masquerain
Shouta really looks so sad, poor fella had the conviction but he ended up panicking in the face of uberfrog. Usually when a person loses 4 times in a row to some1, they let them win in the end. Too bad that plotarmor logic only works when it's Ash losing to his rivals every time. Poor Shouta though, I really think he deserved to win more, despite Ash being the mc Imean, look at the frog, it's not even bruised (they show both it and ash on their asses when frog reverts back to normal but it still hardly looks injured) .. Also, Slurpuff's moveset is dazzling gleam, which had a seriously op animation (Goodra ate one), Fairy Wind- Yousei no kaze (goodra ate 2 of those and then slurpuff used a 3rd one to try countering the 2nd bide) , Flamethrower (Goodra ate a continuous one and the other 2 got "countered" by ice beam... ) and Cotton Guard (slurpuff used once to negate the 1st bide and apparently in the anime, that +3 defense didn't stick) . Goodra might be a special tank but if they suddenly care about whether Pokemon are tanks or glass, Salamence should have outlasted the glasscannon noivern and pikachu should have been brutally demolished by attack stance aegislash's 2 head on hits+ its dmg from the clawitzer fight (And if Aegislash can get 1shot by a tbolt then pikachu should get 1shot by stuff too, with its 40 base defenses) And yeah, it's sad that the anime isn't consistent in secondary effects of moves or even overall effects of moves (no switch after dragon tail, no recharge from frenzy plant, no sticking effects from cotton guard and so on).. they also often forget abilities of pokemon, these things go for both Ash and the people he fights, but abilities and secondary effects are what make fights more interesting to watch as opposed to a trade of brute force. Imagine if they'd combine the current level of animation with sinnoh-lvl fights, that'd be the highest point of pokemon battles. P.S. Is anyone else disappointed that they made Mega sceptile so...static? I honestly imagined a super high-speed fight between them since Megasceptile is emphasized by very high speed, and yet they hardly made it move. It didn't even try to dodge things, it just tried to not let the frog get close, all the while they didn't stop showing "how fast" the frog is. That's pretty sad for a 145 base speed mega evo Edited July 29, 2016 by Masquerain
Monochrome_Complex
At first I thought those were tears too, but it's just dramatic lightning, no? Yeah, shota was robbed.
Masquerain
At first I thought those were tears too, but it's just dramatic lightning, no? Yeah, shota was robbed. Well, I see it as being on the verge of tears, not already crying. I mean usually when their eyes get all watery with more white circles in them, it indicates they feel like crying, and Shouta was pretty panicked at that point I guess, but yeah, that was weird lighting
Jmanultrax1
two pokemon with incredible speed and only greninja was showed off. For shouta it was more like "we cant let them get close or were screwed". Something like that. I can only hope that ash actually wins the league. Milotic
Yooo when did this show get so lit lol, I havent watched the anime in a couple of years, then I come across the Ash vs Shouta battle, and that shit was absolute flames haha, and that OP looks powerful as hell, even tho i guess its kinda old now, it was my first time seeing it. Team flare actually got me hyped up lmao, and I hear Giovanni came back?!?! Cant believe it lol, ima have to hop back on Edited August 2, 2016 by Milotic

Masquerain
So the ep is out (and it was filler with a lot of talking ) But onto the preview of the final battle start Alan's full team is finally revealed- Mega zard x, Tyranitar, Metagross, Weavile, Bisharp and Unfezant . I'm a bit disappointed with the last 2 but oh well. There is talk about Alan being one of those people that only cares about and overtrains his starter, but no confirmation on that. From the preview we can see a lot..and I mean A LOT of pikachu. It's seen fighting the 2 pseudolegends AND charizard (non megavolved) . That can mean only 2 things- either they WILL switch this time, or pikachu somehow solo'd 2 pseudolegends and even got a go at charizard... which is..uh....yeah.. k. Hawlucha is seen fighting Weavile, Bird faceoff, and Noivern vs Bisharp. No sign of Goodra or the frog.
ArmoredGuardian
Ok so this episode was filler. Team Flare makes their move, Ash co. meets the girl from Mega special, and Ash meets Lysandre. As for Alan's tam, I'm soooo disappointed in his flying type choice. Unfezant? Really? The rest of his pokemon fits his personality, but Unfezant? Oh Please. Masquerain
Oh Please. Agreed on that^ Apparently the rumors about Alan only caring about and training his starter are due tot he fact that during the ep, he's only seen training with his zard and the rest of his team is nowhere to be found. I haven't seen the stream of the ep yet, so idk if there's dialogue to back up the rumors, but it's also possible they're not showing his team to keep the "suspense" until the preview. But if he really only overtrained his starter and the rest are fodder (even tho things like T-tar, weavile and metagross NEED training in order to evolve) then I have to say, I'm disappointed before it even begins. And if it's not true, then that major display of pikachu in the preview better mean they're switching pokemon in this fight. If it is true, though...Alan.. I'd say the advanced battle lyrics apply to you from now All in all, I gotta say, Ash probably has a 5% chance of losing(if even) and a 40% chance of having the battle interrupted by team Flehhhd. I believe it was pretty foreshadowing how Lysandre's face changed from smile to grimace as they showed him looking out into the distance at the prism tower. He WILL attack, but will it be before or after the final battle concludes? Edited August 4, 2016 by Masquerain
Jmanultrax1
what a filler episode, no really. With the rumours regarding alain I just assumed that he only had his charizard, you know because he dressed like its mega. But seeing his full team is better now. Im fine with the whole team except the last two. I assumed they would be gengar and gliscor. With his team being almost ou based. and with it being a huge power based as well. bisharp is just meh while unfezant is just questioning. Based on the preview I predict Pikachu will fight charizard and alain will switch into charizard and Pikachu will defeat the charizard. We all know for the final face off its greninja against charizard.
pyrromanis
Plot twist, Allan reveals Mega Unfezant that will be in Sun and Moon and he sweeps Ash's team In a serious note, I haven't watch the new episode but I'm really waiting to see Manon 'again'. She is a very interesting character for me and she is probably going to play a big role to persuade Allan go against Team Flare!
Jmanultrax1
alain doesn't even know what their planning so he has nothing to go against them for.

If you have seen the extended preview, you can see that the match opens with Weavile and Pikachu ..and in the course of the battle, you see pikachu fight weavile, tyranitar, metagross AND charizard. Means switching is going to be a thing in the final, and I think you meant charizard is gonna defeat pikachu because we know that the final face-off is frog vs mega zard x. Though I wonder if Alain isn't going to get swept nd be forced to solo with his zard... I mean, it's possible at this point
Jmanultrax1
maybe its possible but I don't see alain being sweeped with 5 power houses. But I am open to that switching will be a huge deal in the next episode.
ArmoredGuardian
Maybe last battle wasn't up to Sinnoh's final battle intensity, but maybe this one will be? -10 points for having Unfezant though.
Exalted
I think its gonna be something of the regard that Ash is gonna sweep his entire team up until zard who then takes charge and beat's up all his mons till Greninja and the battle ensues. But I am open to that switching will be a huge deal in the next episode. It's mostly because of the rumor that he only trained his zard, but that's not a confirmed thing so I hope it won't be that bad. nepeta100
that would be hilarious if that actually happened but then he would be breaking the mega evolution rule lol
Jmanultrax1
we already broke the rule with ash-greninja. It isn't a mega evolution, but its as strong as one, that means ash has room for an actual mega
Tringus
Let's not forget... Mega Unfezant is indeed a powerful Staraptor in disguise.
Masquerain
Ash has no mega item or megastone so it's not happening even in a joke scenario, but wellp. Trust the anime to make even something like Unfezant "good" Meanwhile, 2 upcoming episode titles revealed Episode 935: The Shocking Zygarde VS Zygarde! The Breaking World!!Episode 936: Attack on Lumiose Gym! The Citroid Forever!! Seems that regardless of whether team Flehhhd interrupts the conclusion of the final or not, there won't be a ceremony for the winner Edited August 6, 2016 by Masquerain
Jmanultrax1
so two zygarde complete forms battle then? The blue core is probably being controlled
pyrromanis
so two zygarde complete forms battle then? The blue core is probably being controlledProbably the two 50% forms will battle. The complete form is probably going to be a fuse of the 2 cores (since it has both the red and blue colors of the cores). And there is also the chance that the 2 cores will fight, cause the blue core want to punish all humans while the red one tries to persuade it that not all humans are bad!
