Masquerain
There are some summaries saying red core will also fall under Flehhhd's control , but I suppose ultimately, we will get to see complete forme one way or another, maybe when both cores belong to Flehhhd (it was in the opening after all) There's also info that Flehhhd are gonna capture Ash (and his frog I assume) since Lysandre was very interested in it
Jmanultrax1
Lysandre is looking into/studying mega evo energy. Ash- greninja gives off this energy even tho its not a mega. Hence why it has the strength of a mega despite not being one. Its in a sort of in-between state, which would explain a few things to a point. CURIE
So this happened. Tfw an anime is better enough to spur a YouTube channel that is exclusively about gaming to make a video gushing over it. Bonus points for co-hosting another awesome YouTuber. They actually didn't talk about the league at all, although that's probably because one of the guys didn't make it that far in yet. Masquerain
Hello, it's that time of the week again Imagine my disappointment when I saw they're only switching pokemon when something gets KOd and not mid-battle... sigh. Pikachu vs Ttar... As illogical as that was, Alan's ttar was seriously like a newborn pokemon. It had nothing, it did nothing, it got rekt fast. Notsure if the "he only trains his starter" thing is kicking in or they just seriously wanted to show good old bs pikachu wins in this fight. I can die in peace knowing weavile didn't lose against a noivern. Weavile vs hawlucha? I have no idea what happened there, what was hawlucha using? It just kept taking hits and then 1shot weavile after the red glow thing triggered ?_? Hawlucha vs Bisharp, not much to say there, it was expected. Bird face-off... told you, trust the anime to make even unfezant look useful. The animation there was quite nice to watch and you could see the double KO coming from miles. My only (extreme)qualm with this fight so far is the absolute illogical bs that was metagross vs pikachu... I can't accept that fight at all. The monstrous power of metagross, getting tanked by a pikachu? And then what, it somehow does a continuous t-bolt and finished off a metagross with a non stab physical steel move ? ... uh.. yea.. k.. And then it lands not only a QA, but a tbolt right after, on zard... I think I'm going with "they seriously just wanted to show good old bs pikachu" in this fight. You can call me what you want or say what you want, but that one fight was complete and utter bs In other news, at least Alan is having fun, but he seems far less prepared for this fight than his behavior suggests. Lysandre was saying about climax and kalos, could he be waiting for the climax of the battle in order to trigger maximum energy sensors and attack? At this point this is only going 2 ways- Ash wins or Ash's win gets interrupted by Flehhhhhd Next week's episode preview: Presume that zard wins vs pikachu and then we see bisharp vs goodra. I expect that to be either a double KO or maybe bisharp will win, only to get taken out fast by the frog..and then the remaining screentime will be zard vs frog until Ash either wins or fight gets interrupted

VKR
New to this thread but have watched all the episodes several times each. Pikachu once again does A LOT of work. It does kind of look sketchy that it took about a finite amount of attacks and still knocked out two powerhouses but I can sort of see why, being faster and lighter than metagross and tyranitar. Still kinda crazy though, guessing that this is what happens when you spend almost all your time on one Pokemon only. These battles went much quicker than before. They did feel pretty rushed but that was pretty much the case in the whole Kalos League. In terms of the next episode, I'm assuming that charizard does take down pikachu, then a draw between Goodra and Bisharp, according to the next episode's preview scoreboard, showing the each one's aces left at the end. I'm not really expecting any interruptions, as I'm assuming the winning celebrations for whoever is victorious is in this episode too. Edit: I'm willing to boldly claim that Goodra is going to bide and get Bisharp but then collapse or something like that afterwards. Jmanultrax1
ok I was going to wait until I was my done at my pt today at 2 to post, but after seeing this episode on break I needed to post this now. ok first we have Pikachu vs ttar. where do I begin. Pikachu destroyed a pseudo legendary, what no. this tyranitar had some decent moves and lost so quickly. I would have been ok if Pikachu too some damage then defeated it, but no hardly anything. weaville against noivern was a proper type match up, and by that I mean noivern got wrecked quickly like it should be. for weaville against hawlucha, it was a risky play for both of them. but hawlucha won by spamming flying press? in one hit, where a fighting type move would have made more sense. hawlucha vs bisharp, no comment. then we have the birds. only pokemon would make unfezant look good against a talonflame. atleast make it like a staraptor then it would have been more believable for a tie, because we know that there is no way that talonflame would tie with an unfezant. Lastly we have metagross vs Pikachu. is pokemon trying to break their own rules set. I mean seriously Pikachu walled metagross, a metagross with insanely high attack. It just kept attacking it with tbolt than won with a non stab iron tail. That's so realistic. near the end we see Pikachu land a few hits on charizard, and by few I mean QA then tbolt straight after. This fight was so bs to point. This episode was clearly about Pikachu and only showcasing Pikachu's strength which the anime changes all the time. How can we believe that Pikachu took an a ttar and won when they pull stuff like it losing to a snivy who never fought before at all. Alain's expression shows that he having fun. it also shows his strategy from the mega anime special and that is complete power with no strategy whatsoever. Alain to me seems like he has no strategy and is only on forcing his way through. So the preview for next week is the conclusion. I predict that Pikachu will lose against the zard, bisharp and goodra will be a tie. Then we have the finally where as-greninja vs mega charizard where we will see the giant fire shuriken. If Lysandre does interfere it will be probably 5 min before the episode ends when the battle is over. Jmanultrax1
well the title for the next episode says "kalos league vicory! ashs ultimate match" so the battle does end with someone winning. even if lysandre does interfere. Im hoping its atleast ash based on the title. If ash loses after the amount of bs hes pulled ill will be more than disappointed.

GATHER, ALL MUH PASSION" had no fighting whatsoever, so titles don't have to be precise. I don't think the option exists anymore that Alain could possibly win, as said, at best it's getting interrupted or Ash is winning
ArmoredGuardian
Here's the subbed episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49p0_GGo6G8 So this episode had BS written all over it. Pikachu bascially took down Tyranitar and Metagross....WTF? They're both 10x stronger than Pikachu so those two fights were complete BS and I refuse to watch that again. On to Noivern and Weavile, why would Ash keep Noivern in against an ice type? It has little to no battle experience and you keep it as a disadvantage?? Unova Ash. Hawlucha vs Weavile was actually nice to watch till I got hold of the subbed version. Apparently Hawlucha used Weavile's attacks to make itself stronger. WTF? That is BS. I legit thought it was Bulk up. Onwards to the birb fight, it was cool to watch and like said above, I already knew it was going to be a tie becuase Unfezant sucks and the anime tried to make it look good. I kinda approve of this battle. Still mad that he doesn't have some other flying type though. Preview: So we see Charizard vs Pikachu and Goodra vs Bisharp and then Charizard vs Greninja. We all know that Greninja will fight Charizard last so Pikachu most definitely will be knocked out by Charizard. Bisharp vs. Goodra. I legit think they're going to pull an Episode 35 and make Goodra fall to a tie again. Or Bisharp might beat Goodra and Greninja finish it off. (Poor Goodra, so squishy and huggable). ZEL
^Thanks for the vid!So uh "He's so good all of a sudden" Yeah Tierno, that he is.Pikachu vs TTar was seriously underwhelming. I did like the part where Pikachu used the water to its advantage (man does that ever remind me of a certain battle against Brock), since it's at least more satisfying than just plain Electric. But TTar not getting a single hit on Pikachu? (Save for uh, grabbing and throwing it.) I get it, Pikachu is faster and TTar is meant to come across as big and slow, but I'd have hoped that Pikachu takes at least some damage. Like, cmon, not even during the Sandstorm? It was pretty sad to see such a solid 'mon go down so fast without leaving any dent on its opponent. Glad to see that Noivern vs Weavile went about as well as you'd reasonably expect it to. Part of me would have liked seeing Noivern get actually taken out by an Ice attack, but this was fine, too. I'd complain that it seemed rushed, but honestly, having Noivern out against a Weavile probably seriously deserved the quick victory on Weavile's part. Weavile's speed being used to an advantage for dodging the initial attacks of Hawlucha was cool to see, as was the part where it froze the water (something I initially expected to happen when Noivern fell down). However, I have no idea what exactly Hawlucha was doing in the end? It... kind of looked like some form of Bide, except for the part where it can't learn that, hasn't been seen using it anyway, has no abilities that would induce such an effect, and... I don't get it.I uh, I guess it just has really good endurance? No, really, I don't get it. The explanation didn't help at all. Hawlucha vs Bisharp was quick and satisfying. It really would have been bs if Hawlucha had been able to keep up a good fight after all the damage it took from Weavile AND being paralyzed. Reeeeeally enjoyed the bird fight. Apparently I'm the only one here who isn't bothered by the whole "Unfezant is bad!" thing - sure, it pretty much sucks in-game, but I think it makes enough sense for the fight to play out like this in the anime. Talonflame and Unfezant are both fully evolved regional birds, neither have a type advantage or disadvantage against one another. It was enjoyable to watch a high speed flying battle. I do love me some Sky Attack. And honestly, I'm happy that Unfezant finally gets put to some respectable use. Though yeah, the draw was predictable as hell. Pikachu vs Metagross? Oh boy, that was just so, so, SO much freaking bs from the start to the finish. I find it honestly unbelievable that Pikachu can take a Metal Claw, Rock Slide AND Comet Punch from Metagross and still defeat it. How did the tiny Pikachu cling to that huge metal monster which was desperately trying to shake it off? It didn't even grip anything, the edge of Metagross' body is in no way good enough for that. No, I'll agree with everyone else here: fuck that match. Metagross should have won it, it had a nice set-up with Agility and landed several hits that should have really hurt (and in the case of that Comet Punch, finished off) Pikachu. I suppose this is why TTar wasn't allowed to get a hit on it? The only likeable thing about this part of the battle were Alain's reactions. Holy shit you gotta pity him there. I'm assuming that unless Team Flare does interrupt the battle, Ash is going to win it. XZard is gonna put up one hell of a fight for sure, but hey, if Greninja has no problem screwing over a Grass type Mega with a Water attack, then it doesn't matter what sudden surprise power move it'll pull in the end. Because of course it will. ...For rel, poor Alain though. Good to see he's enjoying himself, but I pity him for losing a perfectly fine Metagross to this crap. Thnx for the link... after reading the subs... uh yeah, now it looks 2x worse, especially the fact that not only does the frog have anime-invented moves, now the hawlucha too... ? What? Taking on opponent's hits to get stronger?........... Come on, it ate an ice beam and 2 night slashes..and then weavile just got rekt in a hit. Not only that, but the pikachu is unrealistically tanking stuff from monstrous pseudolegends . I really think AT LEAST T-tar's stone edge should have hit pikachu, I mean, the camera showed the shards flying anywhere around pikachu, but not hitting it..and then conveniently it was able to block them all with iron tail . Just.. no comment. Apparently, pikachu did the same "strategy" in the Hoenn league vs that dood's metagross and KO'd it by latching onto its top and Tbolting it... Talk about reusing the same bs from the past. You're probably right that it's going to be a tie for Goodra and Bisharp, or maybe Goodra will get rekt because it doesn't move at all, thus making Guillotine land more easily? In any case, whatever is left standing will get taken out by the ace ^Thanks for the vid! So uh "He's so good all of a sudden" Yeah Tierno, that he is. Pikachu vs TTar was seriously underwhelming. I think nobody expects Alain to win anymore at this point, not after the way they nerfed him after hyping him up so much to be superstrong. I pity him too, despite the fact he's having fun. Shouta was still sadder to watch though, poor kid was on the verge of crying. Still mad they didn't even consider showing off mega sceptile's monstrous speed in that fight and made it immobile Apparently, Hawlucha vs Weavile was nothing short of bs, since the subs claim it didn't use any attack or anything, just... used the enemy's attacks to make itself stronger....uh.... yeah, that's how it works, if you know bide or counter or mirror coat <.< ... but it clearly doesn't so.. bs . At least you can grant that it had the type advantage You're not alone though, I also really liked the birb fight, Unfezant or no unfezant, it was far better than Ash's unfezant ever was, and it held its own vs firebirb. It was cool to watch. After seeing Manyura and unfezant fight ,even Bisharp, I don't think Alain didn't train his team , they just didn't get shown on screen. His pseudolegend fights were complete and utter bs though, and I don't wanna rewatch that cuz it makes me mad every time...ugh. Only reason it looks like Alain's pokemon suck is the plotarmor all around pikachu and Ash The way those metagross moves land on the tiny little pikachu, it felt so monstrous, far more damaging than that -cough-continuous-cough- tbolt .. but again, plotarmor at its finest. I'm sure non-stab STEEL move is super damaging to the monstrous physical tank metagross .. I really hate the inconsistency around pikachu. Some fights it loses in 2 hits, other fights it can tank 10 and still stand and reks everything from pseudolegends to actual legends... well alain got rid of the one attack which was good against ash-greninja. its still not safe to say anything yet Did he? If Ash wins this league, he gets the right to face the E4 and the champion... so... they might have some episodes showing that. If we don't take possible anime breaks into account, the anime has around 6-7 episodes to finish the kalos saga before SM are released On a side note: "It also displayed high levels of endurance in Mega Evolution Special IV, defeating ten Mega Evolved Pokémon without much time to recover between battles." <- Bulbapedia info on Alan's zard X. TFW they're going to retcon all of that and have it fall to sync frog (thus making sync frog stronger than 10 megas, thus making megas look like a joke)

It should be a very interesting match though. Charizard with Dragon Claw, Thunder Punch, Blast Burn and Flamethrower Greninja with Double Team, Aerial Ace, Cut and Water Shuriken. The thing I don't get with the firey Water Shuriken is that if it's with Charizard's flame, shouldn't it be blue because of Zard X's blue fire?
