Togepi is also a starter option. (I think happiness increase is reduced by 1/4 though so good luck evolving it)

Also, I decided not to join after all. They do bad stuff, and Cassandra comes before everything else. Even if she doesn't care, I care that she'd know.

Quite enjoying this game so far. The start is refreshingly different and quite well-done. So far I've beaten the first gym, and it appears there's quite a high level of attention being put into this game.

Assuming you can get messages to the creator, I have a few general comments about Pokemon availability.

- There's far too many grass/bug types available for capture in the Academy portion of the game. This makes Larvesta the popular starter choice to counter them all, especially when you get the Struggle Bug TM so early and there's also a lack of other Fire (and Flying, for that matter) types in the early game (besides Pansear through trades involving Pokemon with very low encounter rates).

- I wouldn't touch the wild Pokemon encounter rates, but I would change some of the Pokemon that are purchased at the Academy. (Cottonee -> Snorunt or Vanillite, Yanma -> Aron or Sandile? I notice there's actually a complete lack of ice types...)
- Additionally, everyone is probably going to end up with a Mareep as their electric type due to early availability and evolving into a powerhouse that can potentially last the whole game. Considering the first gym leader places an emphasis on Magnemite, there should probably be a Magnemite event somewhere around that phase of the game.

There is another electric type event, but this happens near the end of the current demo is you make a certain choice

Sr.F as for your issue I'm currently looking for an answer, just a quick question regarding that are those .dll files with the game in a folder or are they separate?

I need help with the Klefki. No matter which direction(s) I go, I can't get it. I've literally been trying and failing miserably for hours. Is there a specific combo I need to do? I tried looking up a let's play on Youtube but the only full let's play I could find joined Team Celestial and didn't get this scene.

EDIT: Actually, can someone just do it for me? I've spent almost 3 straight hours trying to corner this Klefki and I can't do it. I actually have a really bad headache because of this, and if I spend another second on this puzzle I'm going to break down, cry, climb a telephone pole, and scream incoherently while throwing glass objects at the ground. Save file attached.

I'm having issues downloading it so that wont work. It took me awhile too to finally get. I just sent him in the opposite side of where the klefki went so when I confronted it in the right direction it went to the side. However me explaining it does not help you so sorry.

Also Anthony the starters in the game are beldum, larvesta and togepi. You can get the unova starters later from an event/side quest, plus since dream world abilities are in the game they can get their dream world abilities.

Oh... sorry, I don´t see this before. All files are together. I mean, when I click on the folder Pokémon Alabaster 0.4.8 you can see those files.

There shouldn't be any issues with that though, so this is weird. If you want I can set up a link on mediafire where you can download my version. All you would need to do is download the patch of 0.4.8 after.

I just downloaded the game today and now I am not sure as to what I am supposed to do. I chose togepi, explored the dorms and spoke to Cirrus(the rival) who told me to meet him behind the boys dorm. I wanted to do some exploring, accidentally bought a bidoof, started the side quest with Danny(finding the other kid's backpack) all before meeting him behind the dorms and now I can't find my rival. So, uh... help?

that rival battle is an optional one a side quest to be more specific. It does not disappear unless you progress in the story like all side quests in the game. If you had completed the side quest an event would happen determining your friendship with your rival increasing or decreasing it. Finding the girls backpack was not a side quest it was progressing the story.
