Omega_Ra1der
Oh my god. It is legit. and it actually shows the path way for endings but you need to solve the fragments to get the path confirmation and no worries on the deaths since it actually keep it on a specific path. In short, you can make progress on different paths. First decision, pick red for the real story or blue just for completion sake.
nepeta100
i believe the coin is truly 50 50 the first coin flip does not always result in a red coin edit confirmed blue and red can be the first result still to be determined if you can get it wrong the first time but I bet it is edit 2 basically confirmed at this point to always get it right the first time and I believe consequently wrong the second time but I bet the rest of the game will actually follow the odds Edited June 29, 2016 by nepeta100
Tartar
I've a question to those of you who've played Virtue's Last Reward and Zero Time Dilemma. At the moment I have a slight dilemma, Zero Time just released on Steam (to my surprise...) and I really want to play it. But I haven't actually played Virtue's Last reward yet, is playing VLR a necessary prerequisite to playing ZTD?
nepeta100
I would recommend playing vlr unless youre okay with being spoiled with the story in zero time dilemma
Tartar
Oh, that's too bad. I guess I'll have to wait some more time to play ZTD since VLR isn't out on PC yet... Oh well, I've waited 4 years, I can wait a bit more.
nepeta100
or you could watch a playthrough online of vlr do you not have a 3ds for people that have finished the game without spoiling anything what did you think of it Edited July 5, 2016 by nepeta100
Administrators Amethyst Posted July 6, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 6, 2016 Yeah, you really really want to play VLR first. All the way through. VLR gives context for this entire story, not to mention several of the characters are returning from it. As for platform I got it on Vita since 3DS VLR had corrupting issues on save files... which hurt me a lot personally. </3 Kinda lament not getting on Steam for the Premium Booklet, I really wanna know what's in that. Sayyy, if anyone got that and wants to shoot me some screenshots... wink wink nudge nudge I've finished the game by now. I really liked it (duh) but there's a few things I'm disappointed that weren't included: All of the 999 characters are talked about except Snake. what happen 2 snek :c There's no epilogue for the D-Team??? (also Q-Team's epilogue was silly) VLR hinted there might be a way for Alice and Clover from that timeline to go back, but it wasn't clarified. It was a stretch, but I was hoping there'd be some mention of that going on VLR also says that Sigma loves Kyle and that Kyle would play an important role in going back to ZTD but there is no mention whatsoever of him or "?"... :C gib ZE4. i mean... it's not gonna happen and it was written as a trilogy that's fine... but the whole nuclear terrorist thing has no resolution. and is a nice set up. idk. I figured out where they were going with Diana being Phi and Delta's mom a bit before that happened... but I don't like it. That entire ending is just creepy to me. Maybe partly because Sigma is like a 67 year old actually despite having a younger body??? I was talking to Jan about this, but which is weirder: a 20 year-old dating a 67 year-old mind in a 20 year-old body, or a 20 year-old dating someone with a 20 year-old mind in a 67 year-old body? They both have their downsides. I don't know what I think about it. Both situations suck. i also was totally going to ship phi and diana if all of that hadn't been a thing :/ Also, if we believe Delta about one of his goals being to rally the cast to stake out the terrorist, and assuming he carried that goal through his presence in VLR... does that mean Dio was actually a 'good guy'? Lord Bagel
I just finished the game also, where did you get these epilogues by the way, I got the last ending and everything was sort of abrupt. To be honest I liked a lot of the ideas in ztd but the ending itself left a lot to be desired to I hope for a fourth game also. Now onto spoiler stuff. So here is my main problem with the story. We all know by the end that zero the one who came up with the master plan was delta. What i don't understand is how this is possible at all since for delta and phi to be born at all that means Diana and sigma logically would already have been in the experiment. How could delta have possibly made the game so that he himself was conceived if he wouldn't have been conceived in any timeline yet. I'm sure there is some convoluted explanation to it but It's a bit of a stretch to me. I also feel super bad for delta throughout the game, he had to devote probably most of his life if not all for the good of the human race. Good guy delta. Update: found the epilogue notes, thanks for telling me they exist as it helps the ending be not quite so abrupt, there is still a lot of story that can be told however. nepeta100
I believe that this is the last game in the series unfortunately. I almost got spoiled by replying to you comment I never clicked out of a window so fast lol so I'm not done with the game yet but are the epilogue notes hard to get Edited July 8, 2016 by nepeta100
Lord Bagel
I already had them just by playing the game, not sure when I picked them up but I assume you just get it after the ending.
nepeta100
so if you could take a guess about the final decision that was made in the game what do you think the result would be beat the game it was amazing
