No option for 'ok' in regards to how your poll is, huh? Because that's my pick. It's not bad, but it could be better - notably, more options for the Nintendo, FPS and Fighting game parts.

As for explaining my options? Easy.

Which Nintendo game did you prefer?

See, if I were allowed multiple options, I'd pick both Pokemon and Smash Bros. Pokemon's value has actually decreased over the years to me, but I somehow manage not to get burned out on it like I would with Smash. I would vote Kirby and/or Metroid if they were on this list, honestly. I grew up with Pokemon and although I can't enjoy competitive anymore like I used to, and the appeal of the actual games feels a bit stale, there's always the fresh hype around a new generation and admittedly, tinkering around with the mechanics to make a fan game has been the most fun aspect of Pokemon to me in recent years. Smash Bros on the other hand is super fun to play, though frustrating when you get your ass handed to you on a silver platter. It can get exhausting after a while, but being able to play as all of your favorite Nintendo characters has always been a joy to me.

Which 'old' anime series did you prefer?

Pokemon: Indigo League was a big part of my childhood, as was Digimon Adventure 01 and 02. Between these though, Digimon wins out - well, Adventure 01 more than 02 - over Pokemon, and it's not close. The old 4kids dub of the Indigo League is nostalgic, but it's been bested by XY.
My real pick however goes to Dragon Ball. The original series & Z (well, Z Kai more than Z) are still rewatchable to this day and remains a ton of fun. There's Super as well, which has tremendously picked up in recent months beginning with the Universe 6 arc.
I've also watched most of the original Yu-Gi-Oh and I don't mind it, but it's not a big thing for me, ya feel?

Which 'new' anime series did you prefer?

None of these. I'm not big on anime, and I'm even less big on most recent series, so I'm probably not the best person to ask about this. The last series I enjoyed this decade was Madoka Magica. Any other mentions come from franchises I enjoy as a whole, such as Dragon Ball and Mobile Suit Gundam.

Which space game did you like?

None of these. I have a Warhammer 40k game on Steam that I brought two years ago and have not touched since then. Oops?

Which fighting game did you like playing?

None of these. Well.. Pokken is OK. Street Fighter is OK. But nothing that'll keep me invested for a long time. There are a few fighting games I do enjoy (especially if one considers Smash Bros a ''fighting game", but that's something that can spark a debate to last for ages) but they're all fairly niche.

This poll is simply bizarre to be frank.

You have inconsistent answers that are meant to be used when none of the given options are a suitable answer but they change per question which is odd and in one, the old anime question, there simply isn't one.

Also for the "new" anime question you range from currently airing to anime that aired during mid 2014. This would be fine except I can't think of any reason you chose those specific shows. I'm sure there's lists of every show currently airing or even the most popular shows in recent times, just go check Myanimelist for that.

Also why is it one question has three choices and then another can have way more? Go on steam, search games with the tag space or even just sci-fi and you'll find more than three.

Also, why is this poll a thing? Why do you want this information?

Dobby, the reason i want to know this info, is to see the tastes of people (not so much at anime but in gaming) and if we have common things which we could use to make a conversation around them. Offcorse many of them have topics but it is interesting to see opinions in a huge climax through polls!!!

tbh, I can't really answer a poll like this very well since most of the games, if not all, that I really like aren't represented at all. No Fire Emblem, FF, Xenoblade, and quite a number of older games can't even be mentioned. Games and Anime are also two very different areas as there are plenty of people who play games and don't watch anime and vice versa. I don't really watch anime so how can I say what ones I really like?

Now back to the games, I get what you're trying to do, but a poll like this is very limited and we've had topics like this before. RPGs, given Pokemon is one, is probably the biggest sharing ground a lot of users have and it seems you neglected it. Yeah, that's kind of a problem. The whole community is kind of divided on what games they like and you'll slowly learn it's not very broad and it'll start narrowing down. For example, Krim, Ikaru, and I have all played Radiant Dawn and really enjoyed it, but most Fire Emblem discussion goes to the newer Fates game.

It's probably just better to speak out your interests and see who's played the game and who is interested in it. For example, I'm sure very few people have played Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel (II is coming out in the fall), but man is it a fun game. So if I bring it up, I might spark some people's interests.

Kirby, in particular Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, is my favorite Nintendo series/game

"Old anime"

Not sure how you're defining old, but based on what's up there I'm gonna go with Evangelion since that's the only thing I could think of that would fit which I even come close to liking

"New Anime"

I get to go as far back as 2014? Just so happens Fate/Kaleild Liner Prisma Illya 2wei aired n 2014. It also happens to be my favorite anime

"FPS"

I don't like FPS games, so the only dedicated FPS I've really played more than ten minutes of is Warframe

"Space Game"

Well, I do kind of like Starcraft. But even better than Starcraft is FTL: Faster Than Light

"Fighting Game"

Touhou Hisoutensoku is my favorite fighting game. Although if you want me to pick something a little more popular then the SSB series (particularly Brawl, though I haven't played the original or SSB4) works alright

Meh. Dobby and Commander have already covered this pretty well so Ima use them as an excuse to not say much here. But as I already said, this is far too inconsistent to be comprehensive
