If anything, they're fruit bats and one thing they repeatedly bring up is that they love to eat mosquitoes and they'll do their absolute best to eat them as you come across em.

• multiple. front section to pretend im paying attention in any given class, and then all the other sections are just for sketching down ideas in various games
• a lot more than i used to be, but many people would probably still find my form of organization chaotic
• finally... meaning you haven't seen that before? or just again? appreciating the litle thiings is good i suppose..

although i would love to answer this as it is an interesting question, as i mentioned to you on skype, i... barely remember anything like that... i can remember like a couple things for half of those people, but i doubt it's the funniest in any case, and for the rest of them its like... a big, empty... void.

• I'm pretty happy where I am. The adventurous side of me would totally be in to it, but I know I'd just be disappointed. I think I'd rather save those sorts of experiences for video games, where interesting things are guaranteed to happen and I don't have to deal with insects outside of a battle system.

• i prefer a cell phone. nobody needs landlines anymore. But I guess I'd put it across the hall from me that way I don't have to deal with it, but I could use the phone line if necessary. I mean we have fiber internet now but... the only phone line used to be in our basement. So it was inconvenient.

• memory.. uhm... possibly... <insert SDR2 word-finding sequence here> oh! wait! the last time I watched a movie, I don't do that very often, was back in June when I was out of town with some online friends. We watched a number of things... I don't remember in what order though. I think the last one we saw was either Song of the Sea, MLP Equestia Girls: Rainbow Rocks or Sneakers.
• I don't know if it properly counts, but I got a Legend of Korra art book earlier this month and I've been reading through it, studying the design notes and such to learn from it. But if that doesn't count, then I've been reading Running With Scissors lately.

• they need to quit. they are uncomfortable and unfashionable and made of 30% cotton and 70% why.
• I don't like or dislike them. But they make silly noises. And it's really funny to watch them fight.

I collect them-- though I don't really go out of my way to buy them or anything unless it's part of something else (I have an amethyst pendant, a couple amethyst bracelets, and I'm always wearing amethyst earrings). Also, I was given a large amethyst when I was born... for potentially obvious reasons. I still have it above my bed.

Someone I know has had two dreams involving you.

In the first one, you sent her a game file as a message and asked her to hold onto it for a while. She said the dream ended before she could read the message fully but she assumed it was Reborn.

In the second one, you told her that Earth was being hidden by satellite dishes. You demonstrated by removing one and then gunfire came from space. Each time you put the satellite back in place the gunfire would stop. Apparently a group of beings was waiting until Earth was visible by removal of satellite dish to attack.

What do you think of these dreams?

How do you feel about children going through transitions, or are being pressured by their parents to be trans? At what age is it appropriate to start giving medication/hormones/etc. to start their transition?

For the first question, I think it is not terribly different than parents pressuring the kids to be cis. It's bullhonkey and needs to stop. However, it's a little worse for two reasons. One is that it is much easier to be cis than trans, and so the parents are setting their child up for a harder life for their own purposes. Secondly, it reflects pretty negatively on existing LGBT (mainly the T) culture and supporters. So they actually end up hurting a lot of people doing that.

In general, the earlier an individual starts treatment, the better the physical transition goes for them. And, since in the current social climate passing can be the difference between life and death (to say nothing of isolation/dysphoria/depression that would result from not doing so), I would rather err on the side of too soon rather than too late.

In a question like this I assume the major risk presented is "what if theyre wrong," or "what if they change their mind". But, whether a person is approved for medical treatment to transition depends on their professional diagnosis, so it's left to the psychologist to determine what and when is best for an individual. This question supposes a minimum age limit to protect against the 'what-ifs', but if that ends up denying treatment to individuals who otherwise would benefit from getting it sooner, then I think such a restriction would actually be unhelpful.

• probably... "would you rather go to a safari or an aquarium"
• Because there were no legends in the league, and the game was made to mirror that.
• The original goal was for the difficulty to mirror that of playing VS humans (specifically, the gym leaders from the online league). This far into it, I don't think the experience is really comparable nor can it ever be. So I'm just continuing on to make something that is more challenging than the main series.
  • I do keep a certain guideline in mind, which existed even at my recommendation with the old leaders. With these battles, my goal is to have the player lose twice, and win on the third time. The player has to see what they're up against, and then do something different, and maybe it still doesnt work and they have to plan a little better, and then they win on the third time. I think this makes a satisfying victory without being too frustrating.

• I try not to put much stock into it regardless. of course, I appreciate all of you, but the last thing I want to do is let any of it go to my head.

• it's not good, it's not bad, it's just.. nice.
  • and i'm not good, i'm not nice, i'm just right.
• there's no reason for that. And I understand that when it happens, parents aren't being reasonable. it's anger/frustration and there's a lack of logic there. however, it's important for parents to serve as role models for their children, which means not losing one's temper. otherwise by demonstrating that yelling is an effective way to enforce control or make a point, the child will learn to do so as well. it's a fast route to a negative spiral.
