Seeker

"Ah, it's fine." Sarah said. She didn't exactly understand what Solomon meant by copilot, but she didn't want to push it. She continued, "Anyways, yes, people can navigate the Planes, although they're very rare. There's actually a reality show about one. I tried to get on there actually, but the guy there said he couldn't track down someone whose whereabouts were completely unknown." She'd been searching for years, she'd already tried all the popular claims to being able to navigate the wilds. Solomon was her best option so far, and he'd fallen flat. "Well, thank you for your time, I'll get out of your hair now." She said with a slight bow.

Sully

"Well dayum, where have I been? They even got an entire show about this stuff?" "Uh...yeah. Don't worry about it, there wasn't really much else for me to do at the moment." He said. What with how Black Idol was always telling them to "be respectful" and "bow" and all that horse shit whenever they had an audience, it was kinda weird having a god, even a former one, make the very same prescribed gestures to him. Well, on the brightside, at least it was one who had a modicum of dignity and respect to them, decked out in a suit and everything, instead of some loud and obnoxious bloke like Swagalicious... "I'd help ya out a bit more if I could, really, I would... but I doubt there's much a mechanic can do for something like...this."

Tai

"Dream Space...so that's how Cardinal did it. But how am I supposed to work with this? I need more information...more information..."

"Have you heard of a girl named Cardinal? She requested me to end the tournament somehow, and she had me ask you about this...Mental Projection. It might be how she contacted me while I'm sleeping." Tai said, "Assuming I had a mental projection from an unknown source, is it possible for me to trace the source?"

Diviner

The Diviner raised one eyebrow questioningly. "Are you suggesting that this 'Cardinal' girl has found a way to invade your Dream Space?" He asked. How interesting, it was completely unheard of for someone to enter another's internal dimension. Surely it must have been a mere dream. But then how had Tai learned of mental projection? "There's no way for me to trace the source of the signal, as such a signal is impossible. How could someone not you invade an area that is only yours? The only recorded cases of shared internal dimension in the past were between identical twins, and even that is a rarity. Yet... If somehow this has occurred, it would be a groundbreaking discovery." He turned around and rushed into a mess of cables and monitors, mumbling to himself as he went. He rummaged about for a while, leaving Tai to literally do nothing but stand there for a good five minutes. Eventually he emerged holding a funky-looking circlet with a small bracelet attached to it. "Here it is." The Diviner told Tai triumphantly, "My most recent prototype, we just put this circlet on your head, stab a few needles in your brain, and then we can project a hologram from this bracelet of any people in your head. Normally that would just be you so it wouldn't exactly be useful, but if perchance you're correct about this Cardinal then it;s plausible she could use it." He held out the apparatus, urging Tai to put it on.

(OOC: I'll Seeker post for you a bit tomorrow-like, Strat, there's some stuff I wanna do after she leaves that I'm not up to writing ATM)

Tai

"Alright." Tai put the circlet on his head. The Diviner's words seemed to suggest that he was confident in this...item.

"Hope this works...I'd love to stop poking in the fog now."

Ricochet - The Fight

Ricochet was just about to launch his fists at his opponent as he rose above the water's surface, when his opponent's trident managed to skewer his cockpit, scoring a direct hit on the power generator in the process, delivering the final blow. As his mech powered down, he was about to use the last of the energy he had to speak to his opponent, but she left before he could, leaving him irritated.

Lawrence - After the Match - Visit the Food Cart

Once they were allowed to move, Ricochet decided to head to the mechanic's car. He was starting to get a little frustrated, with two straight losses under his belt so far, both due to him having not used his Special Attack when he'd had the opportunity. He was just about to key in the destination he'd decided on when he was struck with an idea.

Wait a second... it's me that's the problem, not my mech. After all, a mech is only as good as its' pilot... Guess I might as well focus more heavily on my part of the equation, rather than my Mech's.

Then, he keyed in his new destination, and was warped over to the food cart. He then got a tray, got his food, and sat down at the seemingly empty table.

Mommo - Visit the food car

Mommo was in a rather unreadable mood after the fight. The fight was indeed a very positive experience this time around, yet the lackluster victory she pulled made her feel... Well, she wasn't sure what it made her feel. She just knew she was really really nervous to see if Aries was going to contact her again and tell her how disappointed he was in how she fought.

And as restless as she was, she couldn't coop herself up in her room like she did the last time. Her feet carried her on their own, flapping in the oversized sock-slippers, straight into the food car, with her HUD tightly gripped under her arm together with the pillow she carried.

The person sitting at the table caught the girl's gaze immediately. She just wasn't sure whether she was supposed to be disappointed or glad that the person wasn't HUNTER. Either way, she'd only seen her adversaries either in fights or during the audiences so far. Then again, they really weren't far into the competition anyways. Regardless, she had little choice but to sit at the table across from the person, her feet barely scrapping the ground as they dangled from the chair.

Mommo proceeded to stick her head into the HUD in her hands for the time being. And wait patiently without a word, but burning up inside. She looked like she was about to poop explode any minute now.

Seeker

Sarah turned to the teleporter and keyed in for her room.

"Thank you once more." She said just before activating it.

In her room, she slumped to the ground. Another miss, and she was running out of ideas.

"Ey, what's got you down?" A voice said from across the room.

Sarah looked up in surprise, spotting a short girl in a golden ballgown lounging on her bed. The girl had a sucker in her mouth and held a black game system in her hands.

"Blink?! How'd you get in here??" Sarah asked.

"I walked through the wall." Blink replied without looking up from her game, "How'd you get in here?"

"Right, you can do that." Sarah said, choosing not to grace Blink's question with a response, "Why?"

"'Cause you were gonna cry and that's lame."

Sarah remained silent, Blink seemed set on not actually answering any of her questions.

"So, why're you upset?" Blink repeated, "I mean, I know why, but you need to suck it up say it."

"Fine." Sarah sighed, "It's because my lead fell short."

"No it isn't."

"What? Yes it is."

"No, it really isn't. Be honest with yourself."

Sarah went silent again. She knew deep down what Blink wanted her to say, but she really didn't want to say it.

"Come on, Seeker, just say it. There's no hidden cameras, nobody will know you're not actually a heartless bitch."

"Shut up! You don't know anything!" Sarah shouted, "He's gone, okay?! Is that what you wanted to hear?! He left me and he's not coming back!"

With this, Sarah collapsed into tears. Blink finally looked up from her game, in fact she did a lot more than that, she stood up, walked over, and wrapped her arms around the crying goddess.

"There you go, much better." She whispered soothingly, "You know you really should admit these things more often, it's good for you."

(OOC: There you go Strat, now you're free to do whatever)

Diviner

The Diviner held up a remote and pointed it and the circlet on Tai's head. "This will hurt a lot." He said calmly. He then pressed a button on the remote and a needle in the back of the circlet extended and quickly pierced into Tai's head. This was followed shortly by the bracelet flaring up with a light and projecting a black and white image in the air between them. It was just Tai himself and the Diviner started to say something about it not being anything special, but then the image flickered and warped. A few moments later a girl appeared. "Am I doing this right?" She asked.

Thoroughly surprised, the Diviner pressed a few buttons on the remote and the girl's face lit up. "Mr. Davidson!" She said cheerfully.

"Pardon, have we met?" The Diviner inquired.

"Oh, uh, not exactly." She said, "It's a long story, but I'm happy to see you."

How odd, someone who could enter the internal dimensions of others, the Diviner was very curious. "Would it be too forward of me to ask how you got in there?"

"No, but I can't answer right now." The girl responded, her image then turned to face Tai--she used the system surprisingly naturally, "Hello Tai, thanks again. Now I just need you to go visit one of the gods on this train. There are already some here, right?"

Sully- Threaten Asmodeus with death Visit the Diviner

He stayed there for a few seconds after she left. Just watching the teleporter, as if he were expecting someone else to come hailing in next. Someone who never would. Not at this terminal, not at the one in the garage, not at any terminal. He turned and grabbed the chair from where it lay, shoving it back under the table...slowly... carefully.

"I never wanna hear you say that type of shit about my sister again." it was quiet, so quiet Asmo would never have even caught it if they weren't bound to each other. "You hear me, you collection of over developed data and algorithms? I don't care how fucking valuable you've been to me all these years, if you ever...say such a thing about Tesla again, I will end any resemblance to anything you can call a life, the way that only I can... by the time I''m done, you won't even have enough sophistication to read the fucking output of a Potato-powered clock...I made you, built you from the ground up when I was a fucking kid. I can definitely do the same shit over again now..."

The AI gave no response, only maintained his silence. He'd seen what happened to Revenant whenever the battle persona made the mistake of talking back at the wrong time. As irrational as Solomon was at the moment, he'd fucking do exactly what he was threatening, right here where he stood, and he wouldn't hesitate about it.

"Come on..." The mechanic snarled, punching in his own location at the terminal before stepping forth. "We're heading to the diviner. Time to fix this bullshit with lasers and generators and defense buffs..." the moment the words had barely left his mouth, he was there, standing in the corner... only to be greeted by what was likely the strangest sight in his entire life.

"Rocket Man... with some weird looking piece of fuckery on his head... projecting a hologram of a kid... having a full conversation..."

"Da hell is going on here?" He called gruffly, stepping out of the terminal and towards whatever technomancy was unfolding before him, eyes glinting with a strangely inherent curiosity besides the darker undertones of his mood. He paused around half way, looking the strange girl up and down and pacing to get other angles, making mental notes of the projection quality before finally letting his gaze shift back and forth between the Diviner and his old opponent. "is this some new type of holovid tech or something? I thought Communication like this was supposed to be impossible while we're out here in the void..."

Tai

The pain was awful for Tai. He would much rather suffer in 100 degrees Celsius heat for minutes and on than this, strange considering the latter would be way worse for others. Luckily, it worked like a charm, and Cardinal finally appeared.

"Gods? I've heard there are some guests, not sure about the details, though." His eyes rolled around a bit, noticing Sully, the Revenant. Considering he's here, chances are, he lost, huh? His face tells everything. The pilot under the magnetic swordsman turns out to be nothing the machine implies.

Kagarin - Attend Black Idol's Concert

Kagarin touched a finger to her lip, wondering where she should go. Food? She wasn't very hungry. She tried listening to her breasts to see if there were any lolis nearby, but they remained soft and unresponsive. She sighed. It seemed like today was one of her bad days. Lazily considering her options, she settled on the concert. She had a thing for music, and besides, Black Idol was pretty cute. For a non-loli, at any rate. Yawning, she headed in the direction of the concert.

(OOC: K, so, I think a couple people still haven't posted but Ima go ahead and push things forward. You can't go to the concert anymore)

Black Idol

It looked like she had an even smaller crowd than last time. That wasn't a complaint, everyone on this train seemed so serious. It wore away her idol persona like if was nothing. She struggled enough to maintain it with her gullible and easily pleased fans, let alone this tough crowd. Black Idol looked obviously nervous as she made her entrance, confusion and doubt blurring her thoughts. Still, she pushed forward into her song, allowing reflex to take over and push her through.

She sat down on the edge of the stage and had to resist just collapsing there and going to sleep in hopes that when she awoke she'd be free of this nightmare.

"Hey guys, it's like storytime or whatever." She said, "Just, come closer so I feel less awkward. It's obvious this idol crap isn't gonna hold up on this train, so I'm done trying."

"Hey, that's no attitude to have, you're supposed to have a sparkly personality to match your singing!"

Black Idol jumped at this new voice, "Wh- wha?"

She turned her head around and found a woman in a golden ball gown standing behind her. "Blink? How? What?" She stammered.

"Sorry I'm a bit late, I meant to crash in the middle of your song--huge fan by the way--" Blink said, ignoring her, "but I got held up by a stubborn redactedbecauseimnotquitethatmean. Did I miss storytime?"

"You're my fan?" Black Idol couldn't help but feel a little shocked.

"Well, not yours, more like Black Idol's. Since you're giving up on being sparkly."

Black Idol didn't have a response to that.

"So where's Floppy Dick? I was sure he'd show up here, he's the one who introduced me to your music. Come to think of it, I didn't see him at the station either..."

"Um, floppy dick?"

"Eh, whatevs, since you're being gloomy as fuck I'm gonna take over your job for the rest of the day, scoot." Blink waved Black Idol aside and moved to sit in her spot.

Black Idol couldn't keep up with the goddess's fast paced train of thought and found herself submitting to her demands without much thought. Suddenly the goddess was sitting on the edge of the stage and Black Idol was a member of the minuscule crowd.

Morgan- Visit the food car

Morgan didn't even want to budge. She felt miserable for letting her jealousy getting the better of her again. She always dreaded the moment that it would show, each and every time. The very thought of it happening frightens her. She doesn't want to hurt anyone, but this jealousy of hers makes it hard at times. Silver lining, it was only the mech that got beaten up this time. Still didn't really make her feel better, though. Fact of the matter was, it still took over and she was upset about it. The timid girl forced herself to get up from her bed and make her way to the teleporter, looking to get to the food car. She didn't feel all that hungry, but she already skipped one meal. Even as she is right now, there's no sense in letting yourself starve. She pressed the button, and disappeared from her room in the blink of an eye.

Once there, Morgan slowly made her way toward the buffet and grabbed a decent portion of food, mostly vegetables with a small bit of seafood, and sat down at the nearest empty chair. She didn't even notice the other two in the room. Too much was bothering her at the moment. She just sat there, slowly picking away at her food as she tried to break away from her thoughts.

(OOC: I lost count TBH, so don't worry about it)

Cardinal

Cardinal turned to Sully, it was good to see another familiar face. "Well, I'm not actually communicating normally, I'm in Tai's head and this device can project me out of his head. I could probably explain it to you with enough time, although you explained it much better. But now isn't the time for any of that, I have business to attend to." She made a little curtsy and was going to return to her previous discussion when she realized that Sully wouldn't know her at all. "Oh dear, I'm sorry, outside Tai none of you even know who I am. My name is Cardinal, you're all of great importance to me." She curtsied again for good measure. Than she turned back to Tai.

"You really don't know if any of the gods are here?" She asked, almost pleading, "There should be two by this time, was Flop- Erm, was Adam at the station? He should have been badly hurt if things are like they're supposed to be."

Sully-Weird shit at the diviner...

"Uhhhh....hwhat?" Honestly... at this point, he really wasn't in the mood for trying to figure all this shit out. Whoever this 'Cardinal' girl was, she was right- he hadn't seen her before a day in his life. All he wanted was to talk to Diviner and get the fucking blueprints for the dampening shield installed... dealing with Supernova and whatever mental shiz he had going on was nowhere on that list...

They wanted to talk to a god, eh? Well... he could send the fucker packing

"If you wanna talk to one of the big dogs..." He called to the two as they continued their little discussion, crossing his arms with that unwavering expression of fuck all "You're in luck... I just had a chat with Seeker of all people before I came here. Who knows, if ya search around, maybe you'll find her... the trains only so damn big, and not like any of us are getting off..."

Mommo - Do something characterizing that doesn't involve anyone else (1 point)

Time was ticking painfully slowly. Like, really painfully. The rate at which Mommo swung her legs beneath the table was gradually picking up with each passing minute until it was a wonder the chair hadn't yet rolled over from it.

Yet the HUD remained silent and Mommo's unspoken prayers unanswered. Worst of all, another person seemed to enter the cart and sit at the table. Gosh, wasn't it a big yet small table if it was designed to hold the maximum of 'all of them' yet fit into this train. Still, Mommo only as much as lazily raised her eyebrow at the newcomer. Whether they were the HUNTER was all she really wanted to see. However, in this moment of weakness, this moment where she let her guard and focus down to look up from her HUD, the smell of food finally hit her and she realized that, most likely courtesy of the larger amount of physical activities she had been forced to indulge herself in lately, that her daily-tailored nutritional regiment wasn't holding up anymore as well as it used to.

In simple terms, her stomach growled. Well, more like roared, and her usually pale complexion was suddenly overwhelmed with spots of red blushes as she hopped out of her chair, nearly dropping the HUD, in a mixture of confusion and embarassment, gripping her guts and just feeling how they rumbled inside.

Mommo rushed over to get some food almost immediately after glancing at both of the other's faces. She returned with a plate full of reddish stakes (app. 4 or 5 of them in a pile, it would be nigh impossible to tell) which flavoured an aroma so thick yet so tempting she couldn't resist. The girl raised her head to meet the others but failed to utter any of the threats she'd been coming up with as she picked the food. They just sort of stuck before reaching her lips, so she instead blushed even more and dug in, dumbsturkc by her display of incompetence. And by dug in, I mean stab three of them on a single fork and start gnawing at them all like that. Very apetizing.

"Slurp-nyurp-glurp..."

Tai

"Adam?" Tai thought for a few seconds "Badly hurt...ah, so that's why there was a guy missing at the station, and why there's an extra sleeping car." So that's the real name of Silent Requiem? Huh, she knows a lot...I wonder how?

"Oh, Seeker? Ah...the former god of the Lust plane. Thanks, Revenant." He looked back at Cardinal "Alright, now I got the information needed, guess I'll get to work. Is there anything else that I should know?"

Hiroki frowned at Black Idol's deflating attitude. As the woman moved to sit with the few that had chosen to attend her concert, Hiroki shuffled her way to sit next to her. She reached up to her throat and flipped a switch, then leaned over toward the singer and whispered into her ear. "I-I liked your concert and everything, I just can't cheer and all that like this. Sorry. . ." She looked down. She probably just thinks I'm trying to pander to her or that I'm desperate or something, and this is bad for my disguise besides. Why do I keep doing things like this...?

Kagari watched Black Idol descend the stage, frowning in disappointment. Noticing a very familiar cloaked figure moving next to the performer, Kagari's heart skipped a beat. She quickly sidled over to Hiroki's other side, tapping her on the shoulder and waving a friendly greeting. While she did so, she raised her voice a bit so that Black Idol could hear.

"I actually arrived late, so I didn't really get to hear much of your singing. I liked what I did hear though! I think you're really good! Can I get your- hm. I've got nothing to sign. I do have a marker. OH! Would you please sign my boob?"

Kagari excitedly held out a marker to Black Idol, her arm crossing directly in front of Hiroki. As she did so, she began to unzip the front portion of her suit...

Sully- Modify Mech

He waited until he saw Rocket Man's form completely dissipate from the Terminal. Then just a few seconds more before he finally uncrossed his arms and headed over to Diviner, god, that took longer than he was expecting.

"Alright, now that Rocket Boy's gone, I got a change I need to implement," He said, straight to the point, not bothering to ask anything about what had just happened- he really, did not fucking care right now. "I've already got the blueprint and crap for it worked out... had it for a long while now actually, just never got around to putting it in. Go figure that some big ass laser years later is the thing that forces me to readdress the matter...."

Morgan

Morgan nearly jumped out of her seat when she heard a strange noise. Good thing she hadn't taken another bite just yet. She glanced over to see another one of the competitors... Slumbering Giant if she remembered the name right. Turns out that her stomach just growled, pretty loudly one might add. Morgan just now realized that she wasn't the only one in the room. The Giant's face turned red, then she glanced over at Morgan and somewhere else, most likely another competitor that Ms. Belle didn't notice, and then she ran over to the buffet table and grabbed... quite a few steaks. Afterwards, the Giant returned to the table, glanced at the two once again and began scarfing said steaks down.

Weirdly enough, this did cheer Morgan up a bit. Not really because it was amusing to her. Well, it was in a sense. The embarrassment, the red face, the scrambling to get food to fix the problem. It really reminded Morgan of herself. The kind, shy side of herself... maybe minus the whole thing with shoving food down her gullet at the end. Still, it took her attention away from her own jealousy, and thus it took away the frown from her face. To be clear, though, she still wasn't really smiling. She just wasn't upset anymore.

Anyway, so back to the Giant's whole "gorging of the steaks" scene. It didn't really bother Morgan per se, but she did feel a need to say something about it. If a simple growling stomach was enough to embarrass the Giant, then one's got to wonder what this whole scene would do to her once she realizes the situation she put herself in. Morgan, knowing herself, would probably be mortified if all the attention was brought to her. The shy girl opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Thought it might be a bit rude to call someone out, even if it was obvious, and even if it was something as simple as improper table manners. Morgan's mind is now filled with a series of questions about what the hell she should even do. Morals are strange, sometimes. At this point, it was quite a wonder who would talk first...

Mommo

As the lil' Giant indulged herself in what could only be described as a scene improper for PG-13 material, only with steaks, she failed to register the black-haired girl's disdain. She was enthralled by the prospect of feeding herself probably for the first and only time in her life. There was no breaking her out of her state right now and the best way to handle this situation was to leave the girl be. In any other scenario, there was danger of fingers getting bitten off. Only when she chewed down on the final juicy bit of the final juicy steak would Mommo had raised her head up, wiped her face off with a sleeve, before realizing exactly what had happened just now.

You know how her pale faced blushed earlier when her stomach growled? Well, this time, that didn't happen. Because, instead of taking on the healthier, reddish hue, Mommo's face first turned completely purple, like someone had spilled a bucket of paint over her, before all color drained from it and the girl along with the chair fell backwards. Mommo's HUD also slammed into the floor when she fell. Mommo would have immediately tried getting back up, but to no avail, as she found that the weight of her stomach, now a swollen pulsating blob, pinned her weak body down. She could not resist. She could not run away. She could only flail her hands around and gasp in an attempt to seek out help from the other two.

Then again, if they just let her die here, that would only mean less competition in the future. Up to them, whoop~whoop!

Seeker

Not long after Blink left, Seeker's teleporter notified her that she had another visitor. The teleport came from the mechanic's car, so she couldn't be certain who it was, but she saw no reason to not answer. One of the tournament contestants appeared in front of her, she recognized him but she couldn't remember his name. He was accompanied by a black and white hologram of a girl which was projected from a bracelet on his wrist. It was an odd machine, but considering he had come from the Diviner's lair, she wasn't exactly surprised by the apparatus.

"Hello." She said, "How can I help you?"

Diviner

"I see, I see." the Diviner mulled, "Since you're installing a new system and not just rearranging power distribution I assume you have a full mech schematic with the changes? If not I can certainly help you draw one up from the blueprint. But you seem quite prepared so I doubt you need much assistance"

He had already turned his back to Revenant and was working on rearranging the system of controls and data to prepare for the changes. While he was doing this, Sully was able to catch a few glimpses of what he had been working on beforehand. Nothing substantial, but he was able to see a little bit of two mech schematics. "Pisces" and "Aquarius" They didn't mean much, except he felt like he had heard those names somewhere before.
