Uh by the way Pyon Spear Wall should activate in both situations against that Pegasus Knight. So I should get +2 DMG and Def.

Basically I should've hit for 8 twice and taken 2 less damage. I mean it's probably a moot point since the Troub anyway, but Spear Wall still would've activated.

Erm, I missed it, but just for clarity: Start or end of enemy-phase enemy Reinforcements? Fairness would dictate it be at the end of the enemy phase, but just want confirmation.

EDIT: As far as reinforcements go: start of enemy phase but they won't move on that turn.

Fighters have base res of 0... so hypothetically...sleep has base hit of 30... Maya has 7 mag and 4 skill...

{30+[(7-0)*5]+4}= base hit rate of 69...before taking into account distance factor

I'm not mad. I'm just...disappointed in you maya. Very, very disappointed.

My MAG stat better start getting some better rolls in the future... got all that fucking luck and res, and speed that I won't ever use, and they only have 10% more growth allocated to em, and speed has literally half the damn chance!...

So... question, that axe-wielding oaf can't counter me if I hit from a range of one, right? I mean, technically I'm not actually attacking, so... he shouldn't...

I'm...not actually sure. Incidentally, depending on how calcs go, you MAY get +2 hit from our support. Cause that's a thing. Including the distance penalty, your hit percentages (without the potential +2 from support) are 67/65/63. So...yeah.

Oh no, I came into this knowing their base hit is shit...

I'm just... a bit regretful now for not pumping as much growth as I could into magic instead of concentrating on 2 stats which I now know from actual experience that I will never need so long as the rest of you play your cards smart. If you bothered quoting the rest of that post, you would've seen that. I was too damn paranoid back then, wanted to be able to survive a hit if a had too... thing is though, when I changed Maya's Character skill from Awareness to Stillness, I failed to fully account the fact that it's honestly you guys job to make sure I don't have take a hit...

Pretty sure they can counter you at a range of 1. SInce if you enter combat ((which is what that is counted as.)) and they have a weapon with the a range that allows them to hit they get to counter. So... if you miss he'd actually get to attack you pretty sure. I at least an pretty certain that ailment staves count as combat... thing is I'm not sure since normally you cast them from a range where you don't get hit regardless LOL.

Well, Murloc can you do me a favor? Can you ask about this on the Bay12 peeps? I have to go sleep right now but ask what's the interactions between Charisma and Aliment staffs, Support and Aliment staffs, etc.

Murdoc, there's no Pegasus Knight you can hit from D11. Though Hoshiko would probably point her bow to the sky in glory, even if there was no target.

EDIT: Also, another thing, really, I doubt the enemies counterattack after being targeted by a status staff. Especially since they don't do so in the games, as I've been told.

yeah see, that's what I thought too because like you, I've never seen it happen in the games even at point blank range, so...

eh, doesn't matter, the moves been made

Hm... I'm in range to wail on the Merc in the forest, but that would split me from the main group...

We've already been split to hell and back honey. Trust me, compared to those reinforcements coming soon, wandering a bit further is the least of our worries. But no, don't do it, like Zet said it will only end in tears unless you miraculously crit that man in the face... and Maya will have to scold you for being reckless and stupid
