Murdoc kicked me out of C11 and so I went to A11 and tried to maybe poke Klaren into convo or something instead of Hoshiko (it would be funny as hell if she nailed the fighter with the spell after complaining about how fucking volatile and difficult to keep on target Ailment staves can be...)

that's the tldr of that mix up (totally not my fault)

The only real person who'll have bad times here is that Fighter... if the RNG gods are good and that sleep hits... it's only a matter of time before Maya figures out how to combine sleep and dissonance to induce terrible, terrible nightmares...

<Gaterhyme>: Since it specifies "Staff Hit" in the calculation for ailment staves' hit rate in the handbook, probably not - but as with everything, can be home ruled probably

also i edited her move so she can actually shoot the pegasus

Alright cheers.

So the official ruling will be; supports, skills, and other things will not affect staves. Staves are a separate thing from combat, so things that affect combat (terrain, skills, counterattack, supports, etc) will not affect staves. Staves are all about raw stats.

EDIT:

In an effort to keep aliment staffs relevant, they will not lose quality for misses (which I'm not sure if by RAW they do or not) but will give no EXP on a miss.

Klaren since Hoshiko killed the rider, you have your turn refreshed. If you just want to move to the same spot instead that's fine.

So that means, no, I can't be countered even at a cheeky range of 1~Also yay to that second part about staff quality! at least now I won't end up with an empty orb from fucking missing all the time...lord, the regrets I have for not putting more into MAG growth...forgive me, ya'll, I failed you.

Anyways... Zet, since you proposed this idea, and I missed just as I knew I would, get yo ass over to your bae and kill this axe-fanboy for me...or Klaren can handle it, if he's not too scared. either one works fine. or both, I don't care, I just want him dead. Like... now.

I might as well ask, any particular thing anyone wants Luka to do? Want to make sure whoever wants the dance gets it.

I think our eastern band just wants to start drawing in the enemy. If anything, you could dance for me, and I can reposition to O1 to trigger my Duelist : P

Well that depends. I honestly think they won't move if we don't attack... it's jsut I can't go in the middle I'll DIE and good luck getting me up in that mess without a healer. Well... techincally you can just use a Vuln but still afterwards yea... good luck. The only feasible move I have is attacking Axe boy ((the top one in the woods)) by chuckin' a a Jav at his dumb face but not entirely sure if it's worth?

Best to close in slightly maybe. Some of our NPCs are rather oddly placed, sadly. Sitting still isn't the best idea, but maybe send forward Anna to attack the Fighter, if they don't move. I can move Rosalyva forward a few spaces so that she can attack in the next turn, since Anna going forward to attack would take the only space Rosalyva could use to attack the Fighter, as well.

I kinda need the NPCs to move first so my damage doesn't get gimped honestly. Actually i the enemies don't move... that means our NPCs get to move then and then we can follow them in. ((and if Saff attacks the other Peg Knight I can come in behind her and throw more Javs at the little lady. which gives me +4 damage since both parts of Spear Wall and my anima support with her and hopefully three of our units are within 3 space of that space therefore I don't lose 2 damage. Basically I'd do around... 11 I think? Depends how hard she can hit the Peg))

That's all provided no movement though.
