"How surprising, no one's bleeding out yet..." Maya muttered to herself "well... perhaps it's a good omen. Let see how long it lasts."

     With that said, she held out her palm, a shimmering mist of emerald forming around it. She wasn't... too enthusiastic about trying to use the ailment orb yet again, after the laughable failure last time and how easily that holier-than-thou harlot  had put ecquis to sleep right afterward. But... well it wasn't like anyone needed her attention at the moment. Might as well contribute another way. She set her sights on the fighter at first. But shook her head, looking for another victim- casting it against a man who was already on his last legs was pointless here. Those knights though... yes... yes...

 

Gripping the mist tight in her hand for a moment, she finally flung it out in an arc. And as it flew, the sphere of mind-numbing fog let out an ominous hiss, audible even above the wind and the shifting sands...like a snake sizing up a rat.

Meredith took a deep breath. She wasn't really happy about having to fight in all this damn sand. It was bad enough standing around in this armour... fighting in it would certainly make this heat worse. Where was an Oasis, full of crystal clear blue water, she could just jump into? Preferably wearing as little as possible to maximize the effect. 

 

She sighed at the fighter standing in front of her. "Stop starin' ya moron. It's a battle, not a starin' contest!" throwing her javelin directly at him.

From under her robes, Cherry brings out a massive tome. She opens it's pages and grins making her eyes shine in an eerie color. A blood red... Hand? It looked like some sort of shadow appendage, the stuff of nightmares. In a serpentine fashion it coiled around Cherry and darted forward it pierced the knight in front of her, making him choke for a second. And then it darted back towards Cherry dropped a bag of gold in front of Cherry. "Da side effects don' matter when I'm this good!" She grinned wide, the Knight was beginning to recover from the ordeal and from under his helmet red light shined from his eyes: the magic had changed him.

While your power is fascinating you need to be careful with it." Feri steps forward with his own tome, and offers a few pieces of advice towards Cherry. "Please, allow me to fight as well." His tome floats in front of him, help up by the wind and he throws both of his hands forward. Wind violently picks up around the knight, tearing his armor to pieces revealing a very confused man underneath. With a simple gesture, the wind spirits blast from behind Feri forming a ball of wind that knocks the Knight backwards. The impact against the floor instantly kills the man. 

 

Cherry's eyes widen, but after a few blinks she glares at Feri. "Show off..."

"Uhm......" Even Klaren was caught off guard by this unexpected development. He stared confusedly at the girl, or well, the ghost, a creeping silence crawling up his spine, before he pulled his journal and wrote her general description down. Determined, he nodded and looked outside, only to find nothing. Was she just a mirage? Regardless, her appearance must've had some meaning. Klaren went back into the house once again and checked around the chair for any signs of her existence.

Nothing, the chair was like the rest of the house sandy and dusty, and with no clues that anyone had sat on it for the last hundreds of years or so. (Klaren still has his move and action).

Klaren looked the chair over but once again found nothing. Not a trace of the girl's existence. To be honest, he was sort of creeped out so he ran back out of the house. He was gonna tell Rosalyva and Terrin and everyone about it, so maybe they can figure something out.

"Klaren just ran out of that dilapidated house, and it didn't seem like his normal, cheerful running, either... I suppose it can't hurt to give it a look over while I catch my breath." The mage mumbled to himself as he pulled an arrow out of his chest, dropping it to the floor as he glanced at a wound on his arm that appeared to have been healing for months with only a small scar, as opposed to the truth of the matter that he got it a mere few minutes ago. He just shrugged as he wandered over to the ruins of the house, peering inside as his arrow wound was already starting to stop bleeding while he took a few deep breaths.
