Joker
This is just a OU team I made in about 10 minutes, but it seems to be working pretty well. That being said, I'd like to know others input as well. Without further ado The guys @ Leftovers Name: Ferrothorn Ability: Iron Barbs Nature: Careful Evs: (252 HP, 252 SpD. 4 Def) Moves: Thunder Wave Power Whip Spikes Protect Basically, this guy is meant to hinder sweepers and set up spikes. And since he has great Special Defense, he makes a great special wall to boot, great for taking on coming T-bolts aimed at Vaporeon or Hydro Pumps/Scalds aimed at Donphan and Charizard. It's also nice to throw off you're opponent since they'll expect the common defensive Ferrothorn. @ Choice Specs Name: Charizard Ability: Blaze Nature: Timid Evs: (252 Spe, 252 SpA, 4 HP) Moves: Flamethrower Air Slash Focus Blast Hidden Power Grass Charizard here is the teams special sweeper, and he does a great job too. Flamethrower for STAB with Specs will burn anything weak to fire to a crisp. Focus Blast is there for those annoying Heatrans and for more coverage. Hidden Power Grass ensures Char can take on Water if he has too, and Air Slash is filler and helps out against Fighting types like Conkldurr. @Leftovers Name: Donphan Ability: Sturdy Nature: Adamant Evs: (252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 Def) Moves: Rapid Spin Earthquake Ice Shard Stealth Rocks Here, we have our spinner/physical attacker/rocks set up guy. Donphan is vital to this team, Stealth Rocks just flat out destroy Charizard, and can make Ambipom much less useful too. Donphan's goal is rather simple, set up rocks and spin hazards away. I gave him a attacking nature in the event Ambipom went down early. Earthquake is for STAB, and Ice Shard is for priority and dragon slaying. @Life Orb Name: Ambipom Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant Evs: (252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP) Moves: Fake Out Double Hit Fury Cutter Aerial Ace Ambipom is the team's physical sweeper. Fake Out does a TON of damage to anything that doesn't resist or isn't defensively bulky. Double Hit is for STAB and usually finishes off the Pokemon it targets. Fury Cutter makes great use of Technician and gets stronger with each hit. Aerial Ace is just filler, let me know a better move to replace it with. @Leftovers Name: Vaporeon Ability: Water Absorb Nature: Calm Evs: (252 HP, 252 SpD, 4 Def) Moves: Wish Acid Armor Scald Protect Now, I know, two special walls. But, with Acid armor, Vappy becomes a defensive wall too. I mainly use him for Wish support, and to take obvious water attacks aimed at Charizard and Donphan, which is also the reason I chose Water Absorb over Hydration. Scald is for STAB and the crippling burn. @Eviolite Name: Porygon2 Ability: Trace Nature: Bold Evs: (252 Hp, 128 Def, 128 SpD) Moves: Toxic Ice Beam Thunderbolt Recover Not much to say about Pory here. He's just the typical Boltbeam Porygon2. Toxic for crippling, Recover for health. Other than that, I just try and switch in to a useful ability that Pory can make use of. Like Swift Swim or Hydration. Perfect for those annoying Rain teams. All that being said, let me know what you guys think. I've had some pretty great results with this team, but I'm more than open for ideas on how to improve it further. This was also my first RMT. Please be gentle. Phazer
You know you can just copy the import, or use the eRMT. Because the EVs are supposed to be #/#/# not #.#.#. Ambipom U-Turn > Fury CutterLow Kick > Aerial Ace U-turn helps make Fake Out more effective, allowing a hit and run thing and you won't get killed by a Chandelure. Return might be more stronger and more convenient than Double Hit, because Double Hit has a chance too miss. Vaporeon Could try this instead of just being a Wish Support and losing Acid Armor Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb EVs: 128 HP / 252 Def / 128 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Baton Pass - Wish - Acid Armor - Scald Start with Wish, than Acid Armor, because you'll get the life you lost back. Acid Armor more if you want, but always Wish before it, than Wish/Pass to another teammate. Scald for main stab and burn chance.

Conor
um actually on ambipom i prefer a set using: fake out, low sweep, double hit, and payback. fake out cuz pro, low sweep for ttars and steels, payback can take out a gengar if it has life orb and max speed, and double hit for stab. its the one i use and its usually a main function of my team
Administrators Amethyst Posted March 27, 2012 Administrators Share Posted March 27, 2012 Sorry, this is is kind of off topic, but, Xiph, did you use our eRMT for this? /if so did you manually fix Porygon2 or did that work normally?
Joker
Nope. I did this all manually. And Pory worked right, just like the others.
Administrators Amethyst Posted March 27, 2012 Administrators Share Posted March 27, 2012 Oh, if it was manual, then it's a moot point. Okay, thanks.
Aero
On a side note, do you lead with Ambipom? It isn't all that safe to lead with Ferrothorn, despite the fact it walls the omnipresent Politoed. Many leads, such as Tyranitar, usually have a way to stop Ferrothorn.
