[Answered] Shellder's pokedex entry?

Hi all. First post here, hoping someone might be able to help me out, as I haven't had much luck with the resources available online.

So I've been looking for a Shellder for pretty much the entire game as Cloyster is my favorite poke. Now the availability list says hes unobtainable, as does every guide here on the forums, but his pokedex entry says hes found in Ametrine and Celestine mountain. Now I've tried walking around, fishing with both rods, surfing and diving but I cant seem to find him at all. Have I just had bad luck and the guides are out of date or is Shellders entry wrong and hes actually not in the game yet?

Most likely will be found with a Super Rod, which isn't in the game atm.

I guess that's the answer barring it being a mistake. I considered that but Shellder seems like a really niche pokemon to have to have the super rod for. Literally any special attack would knock him out. Oh well.

Once we get the item, at least you'll know where to go. Unless Ame moves it of course. And Shellder can still be pretty viable if used in the proper situation and moveset. Shell Smash is so good.
