nepeta100
With the latest update to the app version of this online card game being released today for this card game that I have gotten back to playing I thought since reborn has a gaming forum and yugioh and hearthstone seem to be talked about a decent amount some times why not at least make an attempt to convince these people to try out this game. Since going into extreme detail game would take a long time for one post I have left a link to the Wikipedia page if you want to learn misc details that I don't go into with this post. How I will be doing it is listing the main mechanics of the game as well as some of the most worthy negatives that I think some people should know before deciding whether to play this game. Gameplay Each character(the cards in this game are all characters) has a level that can range from one to five as you fight with character it gains experience and when it gets enough experience it evolves into a new card which has better stats as well as having the character look different sorta like pokemon but not exactly. You start each fight with four characters chosen randomly out of your deck of usually 8 cards both you and your opponent have 13 pills which can be used as a multiplier for you cards power value if you win the cards damage value will determine how much damage you do. The next round begins the game ends when all four cards from each player are used or one player reached 0 life a ko. However there is more to the game then just that. Each card has both ability and a bonus the ability can mess up by your opponents strategy by reducing damage or the power of the card your opponent played for that round or by changing the amount of life or pills each player has after the end of the round depending on if they win or loss in addition to the normal damage that one takes at the end of that particular round. The bonus is like a secondary ability that all cards in any particular clan share if you have at least two of them in your opening hand of 4 another effect will be active when you use the card for the round Pros You get a free card(s) everyday and some other rewards for winning ten rounds The community is really friendly and the support team responds within a two day period on average Lots of modes to try out single player free mode and tournament. Advice: I would personally start try to start building a deck of all the same clan and only buying cards of that clan that and when you have enough cards to have a cohesive deck for that clan you can think about starting getting stuff for other clans Cons It takes a long ass time to build up your collection even more if you want to be competitive with the currency you get by completing quests and finishing matches(this is course is avoided if you pay money like most online games) This card game has a market system meaning that players have some say about the market value of almost all cards in the game If you have any other questions feel free to ask It would be nice to not be the only one I know that plays this game Wikipedia entry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_Rivals Main site https://www.urban-rivals.com/
Ojama Yellow
I dunno if its really underappreciated tbh. from what ive seen the last time I returned, the community seemed on a decline. ive also become pretty much unable to fit back in the game because its really really rng and luck based. sure, youre better if you have knowledge of the game, and actually show some kind of skill, but in the end if you face a player with more or less the same skill level, it will most likely come down to luck. the game is also really unfriendly to new players. theoretically its a 'free game', but if youre not paying it will take you a long, long time before you can get anywhere. for starters, if you dont buy credits with your real life money at least once, you wont be able to sell your cards you no longer need on the market, denying you the best source of clintz (urban rivals' currency) there is. id rate it an average game. not bad, not good either. most certainly not underappreciated imo. Another Felix
I used to play it. The lore and artwork is pretty interesting, but the game itself gets old fast .
Godot
I used to play it too, but I grew tired of it too. I used the Piranhas.
Maelstrom
Wow, this is an old game that I barely remember playing. I know I had a bunch of stuff but it's been years. I doubt I could get back into the account cuz I probably used an email address that doesn't exist anymore. It was fun for what it was but yeah, it is completely unforgiving to new players. Ojama Yellow
I used to play it too, but I grew tired of it too. I used the Piranhas. since godot decided to list his clans, why the hell not? the clan I mainly used was the jungo, I dunno for what reason tbh. they were easily one of the worst clans in the game. still won a considerable amount of matches after I got my ongh card though (which took me way too long bc unforgiving to new players). the other clans I once used included vortex (mainly type 2), all starz (elo and type 1), fang pi clang (elo), montana (elo) and sakhrohm (elo if thats spelled right). also participated in a decent amount of events but never got really too far. (also because I like bragging I used to be the leader of the fifth highest ranked guild of belgium before I joined DUC HEHEHEHEHHE)
Another Felix
My favorite clans were the Freaks, Roots, and Pussycats. The just seemed to fit my extremely defensive playstyle.
