Drayker
Hi everyone ! With episode 16 around the corner, I've recently started to prepare my team to be able to face whatever Ame throws at us this time. I'd definetely need a bit of help with some moves and held items, and I'm not entirely sure I have the right Pokemons to counter the upcoming gym leaders. Here is my squad (8 'mons, 2 in rotation) : Greninja lv 75 @ Mystic Water (?) © Protean Timid - 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Surf - Dark Pulse - Extrasensory - ? Malamar lv 75 @ Scope Lens © Contrary Adamant - 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Night Slash - Psycho Cut - Superpower - Light Screen (?) Archeops lv 75 © Defeatist Jolly- 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Dragon Claw - Acrobatics - U-Turn - Rock Slide Magnezone lv 75 @ ? © Analytic Quiet - 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Defense, 6 HP - Discharge - Flash Cannon - Metal Sound (?) - Charge Beam (?) Galvantula lv 75 @ Silver Powder (?) © Swarm Timid- 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Discharge - Bug Buzz - Thunder Wave - Sticky Web Toxicroak lv 75 @ Black Sludge © Dry Skin Adamant - 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Sucker Punch - Poison Jab - Brick Break - Flatter (?) Mamoswine lv 75 @ Earth Plate (?) © Thick Fat Adamant - 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Ice Fang - Earthquake - Rock Tomb - Strength Dragalge lv 75 @ ? © Adaptability Modest- 252 Atk, 252 HP, 6 Sp.Def - Dragon Pulse - Surf - Sludge Wave - Shadow Ball As you can see, there are several questions marks left and I'm not sure I will be able to cover everything with these guys. What do you think ?
Hect
Well, yes. You are probably ready. My team doesn't have half as much coverage and raw strength as yours. Pretty sure that you'll be fine! Edited August 11, 2016 by Lagspike
Taska
As long as there are no strong ground types, I think you'll be fine. You will probably need a good fire type like Ninetales, Arcanine, Typhlosion, Darmanitan, etc. for Titania since you really don't have much for any strong steel types. I also recommend a good grass type, like Meganium, Lilligant, Victreebel, Jumpluff, Exeggutor, etc. for Amaria, since she's probably going to have a Mega Swampert with a rain team and you have no grass types. It seems your team has no tank or staller, so I recommend going with Meganium, since it is an amazing wall with Lefties or Big Root, Leech Seed, and PoisonPowder. Azodian
I pretty sure Hardy is on the short list for next episode, you might want to pick up some Air Balloons for that.
Drayker
Thanks for your answers ! They've been pretty useful. Air Ballons are pretty handy indeed, I'll buy some.I'm thinking of adding these two mons to the roster : Ludicolo lv 75 @ Mystic Water (?) © Swift Swim Timid - 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Surf - Energy Ball - Rain Dance - ? Delphox lv 75 @ ? © Blaze Timid - 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP - Flamethrower - Psychic - Shadow Ball - ? Venusaur lv 75 @ Big Root © Chlorophyll Calm - 252 Sp.Atk, 252 HP, 6 Sp.Def - Leech Seed - Poison Powder - Synthesis - Petal Dance (?) I'm not a huge fan of Meganium since Venusaur has fewer weaknesses overall, and does as well in the sun. I've also thought of Ludicolo to counter Amaria if she has a rain team. What do you think ? Oxygen9
There's a chance of Amaria having a Mega Slowbro or Mega Swampert (or Blastoise but...meh). Mega Swampert is especially scary; it's bulky, monstrously strong, and in the rain could outspeed and destroy your entire team (depending on its nature and evs). You should strongly consider adding a grass type, a wall, or something to disrupt the rain.
