IcewolfDark
So recently I finished E15, and with all the discussion about who the next gym leader(s) might be, I was curious as to the options available for each type. I'm new to the forums so I'm not all that familiar with the subposts and such, so if this is supposed to go somewhere else I'm sorry Please don't hurt me. So for Adrienn, I figure I have xyr team pretty well covered between Metagross, physical Lucario, and SF/LO Nidoking. Those three along with Greninja and Rhyperior should cover Hardy very well too hopefully. So right now, the future battles with Amaria and Saphira have me kind of stumped. I know I'm probably getting ahead of myself considering that those two might not be for a few more episodes, but it couldn't hurt to be prepared. For Amy right now the best I've really got is a Torterra (Ice Beam sucks) and perhaps a Cacturne for grass types, and other than Rotom, I'm struggling to find any electric types and I don't know how to change its form. For Saphira... well, I'm at a complete loss. I have, like, an Avalugg and a Jynx for useful Ice types, and Druddigon for opposing dragons (and Noivern but idk how useful it is). If anyone could give me some teambuilding tips for them, and locations for some stronger Pokemon, I would be greatly appreciative! DerogatoryTrainer
You can change your Rotoms form in a house in Ametrine
Vil
Well for Electrics you could always use: Shinx - 5.000 from the casino Electrike - Obsidia Alleway Event (Night) Eevee->Jolteon - Crysolia Forest (Night+Windy) Mareep - Jasper Ward in a house Joltik - check this video Also if you want to ask something about your team post it on Team Showcase next time ;p Edited August 13, 2016 by Vil
Althah
As electrik types you also have Heliolisk. You can find one on the rooftop of a building in North Obsidia on sunny days. It's pretty good imo, better than Luxray who is slow af. Other good options might indeed be Electrike, Magnezone (Shade's gym, key found in the Bysbyx Bxyby Xybbybyy wasteland cave or Galvantula (found in North Aventurine Woods), as Vil told you. But beware, the Heracross/Pinsir event is tedious af ! o/ Best ice type imo would be Weavile. You can already get Sneasel in Ametrine mountain, and it's highly possible that we will be granted access to the 9th floor in the Dept Store to get the razor claw to get it evolved. And boy Weavile is beast. Decent option could also be Ice Beam/Ice Punch bred water type pokemon for the bulk. Azumarill could be nice with the Fairy double type and the fact this pokemon is a beast in itself. Also, we can find an Abomasite already. If we get the mega ring/bracelet/buttplug in E16, a mega Abomasnow could come in handy as well. For dragon types Flygon seems pretty decent. Kingdra as well. If you need more intel, feel free to ask and gl in your team building ! Edited August 13, 2016 by Althah
alaneapen
tyrantrum is decent if bred dragon dance. For electric types, magnezone kills fairies as well.
Guest
For both leaders, Dedenne could be your trump card. Power up those Sp. Atk and Sp. Def stats and use moves such as Charge Beam, Nuzzle and Dazzling Gleam. I've found mine to be useful against several opponents, and it wouldn't take long to level up (you can catch Dedenne outside Tanzan Mountain by Charlotte's place in the grass). 5hift
Noivern is pretty good. Fantastic speed and fairly good Sp.Atk to supplement that. As for Electric types you can definitely try Ampharos since there is a possibility we might get his mega stone. Even non-mega Ampharos is really good.
