Dignal
Honestly sceptile is one of my favorite pokemons, the stats also back it up, but is it "viable" in rejuvenation?
Tartar
Honestly, it's kinda middle tier. It's not bad by any means, though it gets outclassed heavily by other heavy hitting Starters like Blaziken and Serperior. If you like it you can definitely make it work. Sceptile is really fast and has good attack along with average bulk. The main problem with Sceptile is that it doesn't learn very many good special moves outside of Leaf Storm through level up. and all it's good moves liked Dragon Pulse and Focus Blast are only available through TM's and Move-Tutors that aren't in the game as of this moment. And if you want to get Energy Ball you'll have to level Treecko to level 38 before evolving it. Thus the only viable option is to run a mixed build with it splashing regular attacking moves into its movepool. I say that if you like the Mon, go for it, just know that the early game will be slightly more difficult than were you to pick something else. Lugruf
In general you need to take into account that almost any pokemon is viable in story mode no matter how substandard it might ve in competitive. My level 60 Garbodor in Hardcore Rejuvenation can confirm this.
