Akysos
You have a pretty well balanced team, if you have a bit of time to work on leveling up, breeding egg moves or even go down to nature breeding you could make one or two changes to get even more balanced. I would say that the main weakness of your team is your sharpedo, you could replace it by: Lapras (modest) with ice beam/surf then you have a choice waiting for thunderbolt to be available, either use hydratation and put rain dance/rest or go for more attacking moves such as hidden power and dragon pulse (egg move) Milotic (modest) even if you can only have restricted movesets so far with only a few interesting moves such as surf, hidden power and recover (maybe add dragon pulse by breeding feebas first) You could also use a nice physical water pokemon such as an adamant Feraligatr with sheer force and as a moveset such as Waterfall/superpower/crunch/ice punch (breeding move) That could be it to replace your sharpedo, for noivern what style of replacement are you looking for ? Fast special sweeper or just the dragon type ? Edited August 27, 2016 by Akysos
matthewinak
hmmm...... I like the idea of replacing the sharpedo with a lapras. I hadn't thought of that. thanks Anyways, about replacing the noivern, I was looking for a fast special sweeper, just because noivern, stat wise, had fallen off. Maybe it's because I haven't trained it right, but every time I used it against a boss trainer or gym leader, it just fainted without having much of an impact :/ for noivern what style of replacement are you looking for ? Fast special sweeper or just the dragon type ? Edited August 28, 2016 by matthewinak
Akysos
Yes depending on what you get from the mysterious egg you can work from there. Noivern's main asset is its speed, but to be really competitive you need to have a good nature such as timid, rash boosts special attack but lowers special defense making him weaker defensively. Noivern is still kind of nice statistically speaking and in terms of movesets. In case you are wanting to keep him but make him more competitive, breed him and get a timid with the following moveset: dragon pulse/hurricane/boomburst/flamethrower (no need to breed moves just the nature). Then you already have two big fast special sweepers with roserade and gardevoir, you could add porygon z (rip link stones) or chandelure or misdreavus; all of them would be better with a modest nature. matthewinak
If you're willing to set up, Volcarona might work. Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, Hurricane and Flamethrower/Fiery Dance. Taska
I recommend EV training your pokemon. Give Aggron 252 HP, 126 ATTACK 126 DEFENSE, 4 SP.DEF Give Roserade 252 SP.A, 252 SPEED, 4 DEF Give Sharpedo 252 SPEED, 252 ATTACK, 4 HP Give Blaziken 252 ATTACK, 252 SPEED,4 HP Give Gardevoir 252 SP.A, 252 SPEED, 4 HP Give Noivern 252 SP.A, 252 SPEED, 4 DEFENSE. I also recommend replacing Noivern's roost for Hurricane. I think you think that your pokemon are falling off because they are EV trained so their stats aren't as good as the major bosses. Shpee
Your team looks pretty nice, however you can do a few things to make it as best as possible. Firstly, I'd seriously get nearly all your pokemon natures changed via the nature psychologist at 7th street. Now on to the actual pokemon... - I like the fact you are using Aggron, it is a physically defensive beast, but you can get a breed a better moveset with a Tyrantrum so you can get Stealth Rock and Rock Head to replace rock slide and brick break. Also, make the ability Rock Head so you can spam head smash without any recoil. - If your roserade's hidden power is fire, I'd definitely replace natural gift with hidden power for good coverage, else, I'd recommend breeding till you get one with HP fire. Also, I would breed it with a pokemon like Hoppip to get sleep powder on your roserade since sleep would be a good status to have on your team. If you don't want sleep powder, perhaps getting synthesis or toxic spikes to replace leaf storm to get reliable recovery or another hazard. - Nice nature on your Sharpedo! I'd grab aqua jet over dive, but I assume you need it to travel around, so your moveset is fine, but Sharpedo isn't really the best water type you can get unless we can get mega evolutions. - Ahh, the best starter in the game as it can sweep entire teams, but I'd recommend some different moves. Change Sky Uppercut to High Jump Kick for sure for absolute destruction as it can destroy a lot of pokemon that doesn't resist it. Flare Blitz or Fire Punch over Blaze Kick for extreme damage or reliability as Blaze Kick isn't very strong, nor is it reliable. Finally, Brave Bird may sound good on paper, but it really is a waste of a move on Blaziken as it only hits fighting for super effective damage that all your other moves can't and STAB high jump kick will do a little less than a super effective brave bird hit, so I would replace that with Bulk Up for setting up. - Your Noivern set is decent at the moment, but you can either get Flamethrower for coverage, or even Super Fang so you cut bosses hp in half before dying as Noivern is extremely fast. You can replace Air Slash with Hurricane if you want more power, but it can be unreliable with 70% accuracy, and you lose potential flinch hax, but it is up to you.
