Arkhi
So you know how there's too many flavors of vanilla? I'm curious which vanilla flavor people think is the best.
Spineblade
You mean to say there's no such thing as "vanilla vanilla"? or is that what double vanilla is Edited September 10, 2016 by Spineblade
Anstane
I have no idea what any of these are aside from basic vanilla, so that's what I went with.
Arkhi
i dont know any of these but im gonna go for madagascar vanilla because that sounds really exotic Vanilla is what you get if you go to a run-of-the-mill ice cream stand, or buy it in bulk. It's not the most smooth vanilla, not the grittiest, and it's flavor isn't overwhelming, since it just uses vanilla extract. It's extremely average. Vanilla Bean is a more gritty vanilla, since it contains the bean, and the very tiny black specks you find in it are minuscule pieces of the vanilla bean. It's much more flavorful than plain vanilla. Double Vanilla is a mix of Vanilla and Vanilla Bean, I think. French Vanilla is made from a custard in addition to either vanilla extract or vanilla bean. It's a lot more creamy than the other vanillas, though its flavor isn't as prevalent as Vanilla Bean.
Alextron
I'm going with Vanilla Bean, since plain vanilla is not enough for me. But seriously, you should have made a topic about chocolate. There is more variety in chocolate than vanilla (at least i think this is the case, correct me if i'm wrong). Spineblade
Given what you've told me, I can probably now say Vanilla Bean. I love vanilla as a flavour, and in my experience the ice cream with the black specks has always been very nice.

Hect
I went with Madagascar vanilla, more commonly known as "Bourbon vanilla".. maybe this'll help some people making their own choice.
