Cool Girl
So, I know I talked about this in the discussion thread, but I have gotten a chance to hear everybody opinions. So, simple question: will you restart your Reborn run when E16 comes out?
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted September 16, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted September 16, 2016 First I'm going to play through E16's content with my current file, then I'm going to start a new one so I can get all the relationship variables. Lord C
First I'm going to play through E16's content with my current file, then I'm going to start a new one so I can get all the relationship variables. Same, but I may use the online trading system to transfer some pokemon from the older file

Damage
I think just about everyone who's beaten the game at least once will. I know I will after beating Rejuv
Pietvergiet
Most likely yes. Although I will also continue to beat the new episodes with my older save files.
AuthorReborn
I enjoy seeing the new content and the reputation system will be no different. .
Jmanultrax1
I would yes, if I knew how to change to a different save file which I do not
Lord C
I would yes, if I knew how to change to a different save file which I do not You can copy all saves from the folder and paste them ina separate one, so when you reset, you get a new one. All you have to do after that is exchange the saves in the folder according to the one you want to use
Hect
I would yes, if I knew how to change to a different save file which I do notYou don't? Just make a backup of your current save file (Should be "game.rxdata", folder should be "Saved Games"), put it in a different folder and hit "New Game". Anyway, I will probably restart the game.. and do another run, and record it again, and write descriptions.. and.. oh, I don't wanna, urgh. AuthorReborn
I would yes, if I knew how to change to a different save file which I do not Search on your pc for Game.rxdata Right click and "go to file location" Rename the file Game.rxdata into something else, but make sure you keep the .rxdata on the end (for example, you might try renaming it to "Game1.rxdata" Open Reborn. Select New Game, since Reborn no longer sees your save. If you want to change it back at any point, just go back there and do it again, except you'll need to rename whatever game save you want to use into Game.rxdata That's everything. It is very easy. 5hift
Probably gonna restart eventually.
mde2001
I might do a different run at some point, but I don't see much of a point to getting rid of all of my current content. I'll play through E16 with my current file and then maybe make a new one at some other point.
Taska
I will restart if E16 changes events before Ciel significantly. It doesn't seem like that's the case so I probably won't.
yooorick
What I'm doing is continuing my run and then when the game is complete restarting it from there. Lotta waiting though, not that I mind.
Developers enu Posted September 17, 2016 Developers Share Posted September 17, 2016 First I'll go through the new E16 content with all side-quests and dive locations etc. Then I want to enjoy all the new move animations and other stuff in the game so I'll definitely start a new run. Most probably CoM Hardcore No-Items run this time. After three runs regular Reborn feels too easy. Maybe I'll even record some videos from the Gym battles. Lugruf
I will probably not. The relationship variable thingy sounds cool, but I just don't feel like starting a new game once my main file has more than 100 hours. I will most probably start a new game once episode 19 comes out in order to play the whole final version of the game, but until then I'll just stick to my current game. Commander
Yeah...no, probably not starting a new save file. Though just as a fun fact: I've only ever had one official run go from episode 1 to the current episode that started back during the episode XI release. So yeah, I might see what changes have taken place for Hardcore, but I'm probably only going to play the new episode since well there's a lot of stuff that needs done on my end for that mod. Likely I'll restart for E19 or when Post-game comes out.
Hycrox
Yes. Definitely. I want to see how the relationship system works out and it will be a nice opportunity to do a Reborn Nuzlocke.
Craxuan
I probably only restart when the save file is unusable due to the new updates, or the full release. Reborn is too big to be replayed from the beginning without a vacation, loads of new content and some pent up mood.
DemICE
i have like 3 runs i'm gonna play with first, and then i will make a new thematic run i have been holding off cuz E16 is close to completion
Guest
I'm not planning on resetting my main run for relationship mechanics, but I have considered a Ground mono once I reach a decent cut-off point in my shiny run.
Pyrolusite
Probably going to start a new save with my own starter, or a water monotype.
