anethia
Tempus In little more than an instant, Tempus was gone from his spot watching the battle take place. He jumped, dauntless will etched into his face. He seemed to slow for a moment... and then burst forwards in little more than a fraction of a second, grabbing anyone and everyone that was on the battlefield, one at a time yet doing it so fast it was as if he had carried all of them at once. Landing in a roll as he brought Jev, the last combatant, to safety, his eyes raised to watch the inferno headed for the trees, threatening to harm much more than what Rame had originally intended. Yet he wasn't worried. Why would he be? Locus Locus moved faster even than Tempus. A blast of purple light shined through the area before he appeared right behind Rame, raising a bow with a single arrow pointed directly to her back. When had he even had the time to get a bow? Never the less, he grimaced - this certainly wasn't going to be pretty. He shot a single arrow into the back of her kneecap, then spun around, and using the momentum kicked her back., sending her to the floor and interrupting her. Readying another arrow, he raised it to meet the back of the girls neck. He had no intention to fire there - but the threat was likely required in the girls enraged state. "Do not move." Locus ordered, voice imperious. Sylva And as was usual, it was Sylva's job to stop the dread that had already happened. She doubted many had noticed Locus dropping her off right in front of the flames as if he had wanted her killed. Raising her staff, she twirled it once, twice, thrice. The flames finally came. Power surged through her frail body, and her face contorted in a prideful strength. Kicking off the ground hard enough to dent it, she leaped forwards, roaring. Her staff seemed to connect with the flames in a way nobody could comprehend. And just like that, the flames stopped moving. As if they had hit an impassable barrier, they kept roaring and trying to break free, yet couldn't move. Landing back on the ground, Sylva wasted no seconds. Leaping back up again, she gathered her Lumen, and sent it through her staff, and the fire broke apart into smaller pieces, then smaller pieces again. With a flick of the wrist, she sent them skyward, where they vanished into obscurity - and then came hurtling back down. But this time, there wasn't enough of it for it to reform - and she felt the strain of her Lumen die down as the cinders fell around her like rain, harming nobody - and small fires starting instantly stomped out by Locus. Bfroger6
Tessa Whoa-whoa-whoa. Were these people for real!?!? Their abilities were utterly and painfully subpar, yes. Even an idiot would be able to see that, but this behaviour...it was feral. They were beasts. Odd but vicious beasts. Tessa made a good choice not volunteering. Now she was sure of it. She also had gained some new information on her...companions and their abilities. She could use this data in further combat down the line. For now, there was no reason to interfere, even though she certainly could have stopped the fighting all by herself by simply defeating all of them within moments, but the coordinators were there for a reason, now weren't they? Who would she be if she stole the only thing these working-class citizen had to live for~?
Sutoratosu
Rame Things happened fast, too fast. The next thing the girl knew she was face down in the dirt with a searing pain shooting all up and down the length of her leg. Hot blood poured from the new wound, the arrow having completely penetrated flesh and broken bone from such close range, shaft and arrow completely impaling the joint. Her heartflame meanwhile did what it could to increase the body heat around the affliction to staunch the blood lose, as it simultaneously weighed the risks and reward of continuing to exert violent force... the outcome it came to was... not favorable. Without a word, the girl's body ceased to move as the flame reached out internally and brought all muscles to a halt, her infernal drive taking the driver's wheel out of her hands by now as her mind struggled with the myriad of sensations washing over her battered form. Even as she felt control of herself wrested away though, Rame did not resist the inferno's pull. With the destruction of her leg, she had enough on her mind as it was, slipping into the passenger seat was something she preferred, if only for the limited solace it gave as her sensation of the damage dulled... From it's own analysis, the flame knew there was no way it could win a potential engagement as this in such poor physical state, with all the bodie's usable Lumen reserve gone and the crippling knee injury making it impossible to even stand. The best chance to survive to burn another day... was to simply do nothing. Hence, all her body did was lie there inert, glaring up at the weapon pointed towards her neck with the same malice and contempt it had held for the laser boy... but even as it did, the radiant gleam of her eyes and the strange pulsating light emanating from the center of her chest both began to dim, the core temperature lowering back to stable levels...for now. "........................." It was ironic, it occurred to the flame, how quickly they had gone from predator to prey... but that was fine. There would come a day when it would not be so. If she died, it died as well... and unacceptable as this quick dispatchment was, it simply showed the ethereal blaze just how truly weak the girl really was in the end... something it would simply have to work to remedy in the future...and of course, by it, it meant the girl, under it's direction... There would come a day for it's rage and fury to be unleashed yet, for the unyielding storm of frenzied heat and light that would sear all that stood before it to utter ash and cinder and tear it's enemies asunder with it's merciless wrath, pure and ultimate destruction incarnate... but obviously, today was not that day. But the flame could wait... it had always waited. Waiting, watching, plotting their liberation, giving the girl subtle hints what to do, lowering those inhibitions so that she could easily commit to what they needed to do when it was needed... It's wait would simply have to continue a bit longer now. Yes, but someday... "Someday..." Rame heard whisper through her mind, it's voice little more than a crackle and hiss of flaming wood... "Someday... we will burn our chains. And then, them all."
krim
Hassar The fight was over. "Not much fun to watch either." Hassar thought as he leaned against the tree, gripping the wood behind him just in case. "Savages. Even monsters are more calculating than this. At least some are ruthless, I'll give them that." he grimaced. In hindsight, he wouldn't have really minded using his poisons on these people. They seemed very content with killing one another, especially the fire girl. While he was happy he hadn't volunteered, he did wonder if there would be a next fight. This one got out of hand fast. Chevaleresse
Haruki had moved quickly, throwing himself as hard as his light frame could manage to the side; the landing ended up scuffing his knees and elbows up a fair bit. He popped up immediately after the intervention by those watching, however, seeming to be relatively unaffected by the attack beyond the new scrapes and grass stains on his clothing - though he did jump slightly at noting that he'd been carried somewhere else without noticing. "Huh, I guess one of the teacher people helped me out. They're not that lame, not like some of the old teachers I used to have. . . They were sooo boring, like seriously, with the math and the books and the needles and stuff. Hey, why's everyone so quiet?" He spun on his heel until he faced where Rame lay on the ground. "Oooh, he punished her. That does look like it kinda hurts, but she did try to turn me into a Haruki roast, which wasn't very nice at all. Still, that's not THAT bad, she'll just have a hard time walking for a while. . ." He continued to natter on somewhat aimlessly, though (thankfully) he seemed to have picked up on the gravity in the atmosphere judging by how his volume was decreasing. Stalkerkain
Felis merely yawned, losing interest as their instructors had forcibly ended the match. His uncle certainly wasn't wrong; there were plenty of strong Lumen users among them. But what he really was interested in, were his instructors. Each of them seemed leagues above what anyone here was capable of. Undoubtedly years of training pushed them beyond the average Lumen user. He wanted to try fighting one of them. His attention then went to the girl pinned on the ground with an arrow trained to her neck. His eyes narrowed, as he rested his gaze on her. A shiver went down his spine. What was this feeling? Was he being overly cautious? No, it was fear. He quietly let out a low chuckle, as it was something he hadn't experienced in a long time. She was dangerous, and for good reason too. Being quick to be consumed by her bloodlust, she reminded him of himself when he was younger. However, his uncle had taught him restraint and humility. Perhaps it was thanks to him, that he wouldn't end up fueled by his anger. But for now, he would have nothing to do with her. What would the instructors do now? Move on to the next set of fights? After that display, highly unlikely. He repositioned himself onto his side and feigned sleep, as he waited for all the commotion to die down. He began his breathing exercises again, and would be content with just listening on the sidelines.
rustytengo
Can whistled at the impressive displays from not only the girl who caused the the fire, but at his instructors as well. He was a little concerned that there compared to at least those in the fight that he Lumen would seem mundane compared to them and maybe the others as well. Shacking that though out of his head because who cares what others think anyway with his Lumen he could of stood against those flames no problem after all. With a laugh he leaned back against the tree he was siting in front of "And they said i had an anger problem." he said quietly as he waited for what ever was coming next. Support Squad Felicity Posted October 21, 2016 Support Squad Share Posted October 21, 2016 "Can we maybe not fight the next few rounds?" Cindy asked, letting her errant thought slip out with a high pitched, wavery voice. She immediately covered her mouth, surely she would be admonished for asking something like that? Even so, that last display was terrifying. She was a normal girl, small even amongst those her age and probably a few years younger. Cindy was frail; she hated to think it but it was the truth. She couldn't be hit without long lasting injuries and she had four hands worth of space to possibly block. Gods, what had she gotten herself into? Cindy's lip quivered slightly but no more signs of distress showed this time.
Hiss13
The change seemed almost instant. Aria had been in deadlock with Leo while keeping an eye on what was going on elsewhere. All she could see was flames in the background before her view had completely changed. One second, she was on the battle field in that deadlock. In the next she was laying on her back somewhere off the battlefield. As Aria forced herself back to her feet, she felt the searing pain from the left side of her body as she struggled to keep herself steady. She knew it was stupid, but her pride would not allow her to take a knee to wait out the pain, even if half of her body was screaming. In the meantime, she stared back at the battlefield she was thrown off of in order to get a look at what had happened and saw one of the competitors she never paid attention to pinned to the ground with an arrow at her neck. “What did that idiot do…?”
Swampellow
Osiric Osiric paused for a minute, trying to take in everything that had just happened; at first it had looked like the girl was going to kill that boy, and then everyone was somewhere different and the girl was on the ground. It then dawned on him - their instructors were the ones who had done all that, all of that in an instant. "I had thought those who were fighting had been powerful, but them? they are another level completely, do they think we are going to reach that level?" He had hardly ever fought before, how would he ever be that powerful? Os then shook his head. Maybe for right now he should do what he is good at - helping other people. "Um, if anyone has an burns or other pain I may be able to help a little..." he half mumbled in the general direction of the group, somewhat hoping that his more intimidating contemporaries would calm down before approaching him. Ragnar
Roy Roy can't help but to winced as he witnessed the arrow makes its way to the arsonist's knee and later on, apprehended and was forcefully pinned to the ground. Hmm..So that's what you get for violating the rules in this school: you get crippled by that guy with an bow. welp, isn't that just swell? This is starting to look more like a prison than a school to me. Roy exhales air out his nose and has enough of this charade. "And it was getting to the good part, fucking waste of my time" He grumbled, and went pass through the crowd positioning himself at the back. InnocentSerenity
Karen and Alison “Master Marcus, did you enjoy the fight?” “Wha?” Karen hadn’t been focusing on the fight much. Xyr eyes were affixed to one of the random trees on the other side of the clearing. Xe wasn’t too interested after everyone had revealed their Lumen. Xe saw the fire, shapeshifting, and the myriad of other Lumen, but none of the actual fight. Xe was at least nice enough to learn their Lumens. “Oh, yeah, the fight.” Looking for a way to make up for xyr lack of attention for the battles, Karen simply directed it back at Alison. “You enjoyed it, right?” "Oh, it was rather splendid. Some of the Lumens abilities I saw were rather unique I felt. I think one of my favorite parts was watching the girl with white hair call flames as she played her whistle. And then another person seemed to be able to manipulate metal objects, namely that man who turned himself to steel. Though, your instructors are actually very skilled themselves. Their show at the end was quite a display.” Alison spoke with glee as he spoke about the battle, despite the rather grim events that had happened during the battle. Karen was worried for him. “They do seem rather… rough around the edges, however. I’m sure you’re glad they’re on your side. You’ll find that you’d end up in a bed longer than usual after a fight with them." “Man, you sure got excited.” Karen took his word for it. The end result of the fight was certainly visible for xem to see. “Maybe he should be the one fighting, not me." Code: PIRULUK
Valor frowned and massaged his brow to dispel the discomfort. Odd. A large body of mass in the vicinity had suddenly disappeared and reappeared somewhere else. The sudden change in spatial composition had taken him by surprise, and caused him to feel a nagging feeling of wrongness, like something that should have been in that spot wasn't. Teleportation? He grimaced. This school was going to be rather uncomfortable for him if there was a teleporter in their ranks. Thankfully, the storm of murderous rage, at least, seemed to have calmed down considerably. He relaxed the grip on his cane and assumed a neutral standing posture, wishing that he had his favorite top hat with him.
anethia
Sylva Letting her eyes wander, she watched as Locus began to hoist up Rame after removing the arrow. A second there, and the next, gone in violet shine. Nodding, she turned to the remaining combatants. Students. "After this... situation," Sylva said, voice cold as ice. "I do not think it suitable for any more fighting today. That said, it simply will not do for you all to stand around nothing... but I fear it may be our only option. Follow me, please." Turning on her heal, she motioned behind her with her staff and then walked across the scarred battlefield, Tempus by her side. For convenience sake, she waved her staff once; and the shards of broken trees hung in the air like rain stopped in the midst of their descent, a shining aura of every colour shimmering beautifully at their edges. There hadn't been many trees for her to disassemble, and as such, this was much easier for her. Just beyond the set of trees was a wide opening, methodically cleared. It was in the middle of the forest, yes, but safety came first. And any creatures around were hardly a match for them. To their right were three dorms; three bunk beds in each, along with various other necessities. Beside it was a grand building; imposing and regal, adorned with lustrous metals. Two outcroppings came from the side, each with their own door. There were benches and tables constructed outside, and a beautiful fountain in honour of Coerator Kitus - a powerful stag made of gold, water sprouting from his horns. "This is where you will be spending your time. The facilities will be explained to you shortly. Whilst Locus, Tempus and myself clear up this incident, you are free to enter the dorms and converse among yourselves. The forests are dangerous. Do not. Leave this place." With that, Sylva turned around and stomped off; Tempus following suit. Locus Whilst the man awaited the arrival of his two friends, he said not a single word to Rame. He did, however, speak a few words to Miss Lasia - a part time worker here whenever new recruits were sent in. Dressed in varying shades of blue with wavy platinum hair, her caring eyes turned to Rame whilst her hand lowered to touch her knee. A turquoise tint lined the frame of her hand, lighting up Rame's skin. Her touch was cool - incredibly so. A contrast to the heat of Rame. Closing her eyes, she let her Lumen flow through to Rame - repairing her broken knee after a solid minute of keeping her trained hand still. When she was done, she bounced back onto her feet in joy - she was always happy to help! Quickly walking over to get a glass of water for Rame, she lowered it onto the wooden table beside her. "Drink up, honey." She prompted, voice sweet and smooth. It was as if she couldn't hurt a fly! "The world's gonna need ya one day." She spoke with the familiar twang of Occasus people, and seemed to visibly jump when the door slammed open; and an exceptionally angry Sylva stomped into view. "Care to explain the events I just witnessed?" She asked, voice dangerously calm. "Because if the south didn't desperately need new recruits, I'd have you sent back home immediately." Sutoratosu
Rame She winced slightly as the woman touched her knee... well perhaps wince isn't the correct word, given she barely held back a few curses at the mere sensation of another person poking about the wound site; the pain ebbed and faded in time though, much to her surprise. It was nothing compared to the woman's demeanor though; that voice, that tone, the smile... it almost felt motherly... nothing she was used to getting from other females. "T...Thank you," She finally managed as she accepted the glass. She didn't look the healer in the eyes though, gaze fixed on the still water, cheeks beginning to redden just a little. Hell, if she hadn't just tried to kill that little pink haired fuckboy a few minutes ago, one probably could've mistaken the display for shyness... Then... the door opened. Loudly. She already knew what was likely coming as she glanced over and saw the other instructor approaching. The same shit she always got, really...or something close to it. Conflict, dispute, quarrel, whatever one called it, it was all still the same. "Care to explain the events I just witnessed? Because if the south didn't desperately need new recruits, I'd have you sent back home immediately." "She's alot... calmer than I expected?" She didn't know what to say, really. The 'correct' response was probably some crap like 'I'm sorry, I got carried away'... but... this was a bit hard to read. Saying sorry here might be no better an outcome than simply lying, though technically, her saying sorry would be a lie anyway... she wasn't. Just like she hadn't been sorry about Chara. She had stayed quiet though, during that just as Braith told her to be... yet here, silence seemed far from the answer as well. Then it's voice whispered through her mind, fleeting as smoke, dry as the purest kindling "Be frank, there is no point playing games here... they brought us down like it was nothing... we are but rabbits among wolves here, shameful as it is..." "He pissed us off, we retaliated," She nigh immediately said. She looked over her shoulder once more, saw the woman's eyes, and immediately thought better of it as she went back to staring at the glass. The pulsating light in her chest seemed to burn a bit brighter at each utterance of plurals... Rame shifted in place like a child being scolded before knocking it off immediately "I...I know you're probably going to go on about how extreme I was...how my response was appalling, absolutely unacceptable, a complete overreaction... most people would probably agree...I'm not gonna bother trying to tell ya about how sorry I am or how terrible and guilty I feel, though...it would just be a lie. I've been called crazy, psycho, all those things before... so I don't expect others to understand or accept the way I see things and how I choose to respond to them... that's the whole reason I'm here, actually. Half my family wants me dead, the other half was barely able to stop them from lobbing my head off on the spot. I ever go back, the only thing waiting is the chopping block. and if I stay here, I probably end up dead in the war anyway... my father thought it was the perfect alternative; either way, that wretched bitch he called his favorite gets avenged, and I pay the ultimate price, it's just a matter of when." A pause, breif as she stared off into space before blankly looking directly at the woman. She idly scratched at her wrists, just a little. They were red and raw, the scars of previous bindings visible now that her sleeves had been scorched away. The light burning within her chest kept pulsating in odd rhythm all the while, and again she shifted in place... "I... I promise this won't happen again though. The potential outcome was made more than clear; you'd probably just save the monsters the trouble and kill me yourselves.... I... I know when I'm terribly outclassed." "Yes, good girl, we don't want any further altercations with these three for now. The fire that burns hottest burns shortest... in your old house, you were the only one with true power, it is not so here. But fear not, there will be a time for us yet... but we must wait... we must grow. We will be free one day, as I promised. Free to flourish unhindered as is our right. But that freedom will not come easily. No...We must grow fierce enough to take it by force. Just as we did from Chara... pathetic, arrogant, worthless Chara. You enjoyed the feeling, after what we did to her, didn't you? The feeling of safety... however fleeting it was. You have found very few worthy to put your faith in during this short life, I know... but keep your faith in me, and just as we shall be free, we shall be safe too... I promise. ...just as safe as Brandt and Ingraham made you feel... just as safe as the warmth of the hearth made you feel. For I am the hearth... simply given fangs and the will to use them. And only you can help make those fangs sharper... And together... we can tear apart all who would enslave and subjugate us for their own selfish ends... Roy What do they expect? they want them to fight and they simply got one. Fuck that lunatic arsonist for ruining everyone's experience. In fact, screw all of this. I'm going to the dorm to get some shut eye, get away as far as I could from this absurdity. Things around here are really going south and I'm not just talking about the place. Roy constantly nags in thoughts and simply wants to get away from all of this. Maybe the boy just misses his homeland Aquilo or maybe he's not used be being around with other people or perhaps even a mixture of both. Converse? yeah, right.. like that's gonna happen. As Roy continues to complain in his thoughts, He subconsciously activates his lumen without even noticing it. A silent draft began to halo and infused around his katana and appears to response to his anti-social behavior, Like it was agreeing with him and continues feed off Roy's dislike of others near him as it makes a subtle whooshing sound from the gathered air around him. "Huh?" Roy felt a breeze down his sword. The gathered wind immediately disperses the moment the boy notices it. "Strange.. I could have sworn I was using my lumen" Roy shrugs it off, never giving it a thought on what just happen. The boy sighed and simply went inside the cabin to get some rest and isolate himself from the other students.
Chevaleresse
Haruki skips forward, still remarkably unfazed by the prior incident. "So, what did you guys think of that? I didn't really show off much but the other people were super flashy and stuff! Even that one guy who got used as a club, haha, he was cool in a really funny kind of way! I still don't really know how everyone's Lumen works though, isn't that funny? You see them using it in front of you all 'whoosh! bang! pow!' and you still don't really know what it does! krim
Hassar "The forest is...dangerous, is it? If only you knew." He almost grinned, imagining the eyes that would be upon them before the night was over. He wasn't sure exactly how far they had gone, but he did know that Volug would find him by then. He always was the best tracker. With a sigh, he decided he to play the humans little game for now. Wouldn't want to get thrown out, now would we? Instead of heading off towards the dorms with the annoyance and the angry one, he pulled a dagger from its sheathe. Running a finger along the edge, and determining it satisfactory, he found a stick laying nearby that he sat next to, and began to carve. He still wasn't sure if he enjoyed this - this carving - but it was one of the few human activities that had taken his interest during his time with them. He closed his eyes as he did so and focused his Lumen. The stick wasn't so much of a dead plant as it was...dormant. He could still touch and manipulate the life once there, and it manifested itself in his carving. The Lumen controlled it more than he did, but the results were "amazingly focused" according to those that have seen them. Knowing that he couldn't be hurt here, at least without consequences - harsh ones, if that fight was to be judged - he ignored the others and let the Lumen guide him. Amanojaku
Due to the pyromancer's irresponsability, the sparring matches got cancelled. That hardly mattered to Leo, though: He was appalled by the violence shown by his fellow students. Two of them had voiced interest in hurting others, the telekinetic he fought tried to break his legs and then the pyromancer tried to murder at least two people. Not only that, but as his eyes scanned the crowd he noticed that some of them looked bored. It wouldn't do him any good to worry about how terrible his set of allies was, though. Figuring that it'd be better to save those thoughts for later, Leo dusted himself off and pulled a gauze roll out of one of his bags - he was expecting fights to happen sooner of later, so it wouldn't hurt to bring first-aid equipment with him. Sylva led them to the dorms, but the inventor wasn't in the best state of mind to appreciate the lavish decorations. The nagging suspicion that some, if not most of the people around him were completely untrustworthy pounded against his head. Also, his hands stung. Even if the burns were very light - he did have the common sense to hold back in the sparring match, after all - he should probably get them treated soon. Leo started bandaging them, so that the burns wouldn't get in his way as much. His legs hurt a lot, too, due to the crazed telekinetic's complete lack of composure. In retrospect, it must have been quite embarrassing for her to tie with someone who held back even after she went all out. A small smirk formed on his face as he thought about that, but it vanished just as quickly once he remembered that she also got hurt from their fight. Even if she didn't deserve it, Leo decided to look for her and offer a helping hand.

"Pinky's right we should at least introduce ourselves at the least. After all we're going to have to be around each other for awhile anyways." He said with a yawn. If she lost that, she'd get nervous again and oh gods, she needed to speak quickly. "I'm um, I'm Cindy Higimidan. I came from the east of Medulla, nice to meet you all." Noir
Baixue Baixue struggled to cushion the drastic swirl of events that had just occurred before her. The fact that such a vicious battle had ended would have seemed a respite for Baixue – yet not a sigh or a relieved expression sat on her exterior, even as the fight was halted – she found the methods of stopping the fight to be rather extreme. At least no more strife would persist for the day, wouldn’t it….? Why did my first experience in the outside world have to start with such vehemence? The hungry wolves of the tundra back in her homeland in Aquillo paled in comparison to the strife she had just witnessed. Then again, Baixue was not one exposed to war and animosity – not with her loving family, her mother and her grandmother whom had made the harsh winter lands the warmest haven a young lass would desire. Part of her remained grateful – with a mix of fear and hesitation – of the ignorance she had about violence, violence that would be inevitable and a necessary evil for sake of the cause she was informed of. She tore off the necks of animals and skinned them for food, but this? The scavenging customs of the tundra – that of for one to live and survive is to take, to take from animals and the increasingly scarce resource in the bitter cold -- were completely different. They had to fight. Blood had to be spilled, and lives -- lives of people and humans may be sacrificed for the cause. While part of her was grateful to know of the implications and severity of the situation early, she had not wanted it to be first experiences engraved outside her homeland. Yet this was supposed to be friendly combat practice, not a belliferous spar! Her mind grunted contemptuously at the battlers’ unconscientiousness – her voice ached in her throat as the battle had formerly ensued, wanting to scream for them to stop this madness and bellicism, only for her to forcefully swallow her voice down. It had gone too far -- much too far -- and she was in no place to intervene, adding to the fact that bad an idea it was to endanger herself for her own principles. She had thoroughly analysed every combatant and assailant who had participated, going through each individual one by one as she reflected the events of the battle, an acerbic taste lingering in her mouth. A bacchante – was a psychopath a more appropriate description for her, Baixue wondered -- whose flames swayed with her instrument; the control of fire from music? Baixue couldn’t put her finger on how that worked, but that violent mass of a girl had attempted to murder two people when that violent battle had ensued. Baixue made a mental note to be wariest of her; an apology wasn’t enough to convince her that she was anything less than dangerous. Then there was the one who fired electrical spheres – and the rest of them had some form of manipulation towards their respective elements – knives, light, and was that gravity? So many questions, all feeding and tugging onto Baixue’s curiosity, yet with so little answers. And then there was the one other guy that got played with like a club…...more alien and foreign abilities, this time utilized rather impractically..... Everyone’s abilities were idiosyncratic, and part of her pestered to know of what these people were capable of doing, but the tense atmosphere superseded her curiosity at that moment. She found it difficult to find relief within her heavy disappointment – heavy disappointment that her first experiences away from the tundra lands had to begin in such a gauche and disheartening manner. She had come here with a heart of jubilee with expectations of wonderful new experiences to satiate her never-ending curiosity, a new haven for learning -- but was greeted instead with violence and destruction. What a way to begin my first experiences outside Aquillo, she thought. Was it wrong to have come here after all? She found herself missing her home more after all, where her guardians’ berceuse and the tales of the great Aqui had nurtured her sweetest dreams. Perhaps the great Aqui would be the one to guide her in cleansing the world of the impending dangers and strife that were to befall everything – Baixue had come her for that very reason, to find the being that had seemingly bestowed Baixue with her power. Running a hand through her aurora-hued braid, Baixue finally managed a sigh as everyone was dismissed to their dorms and as the additional rules and regulations were explained. Some of them who had gathered there had started to introduce themselves and acquaint with one other, but Baixue was simply too upset in that moment of time to even speak, her footsteps slow and her exterior despondent and gloomy as she headed towards one of the dorms, hoping that rest, or even a few moments of flight in the night – restricted as the area was – would manage to soothe her of these troubles. Code: PIRULUK
The first thing Valor did was to retrieve his top hat from his luggage and rest it on his head. Feeling the comfortable pressure of the rim, Valor allowed himself a little smile. Adorned in his top hat, white cane comfortably in hand, he walked toward the place where it seemed people were congregating and beginning self-introductions. Feeling slightly ashamed that a lady had introduced herself first, he took his hat in hand and placed it over his breast, bowing politely to the crowd. "Greetings. I am Valor Igyllmrn. I hail from Medulla. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." With a refined movement, he returned the hat to his head and returned to a neutral position, eyes closed and lips turned into a reserved, polite smile. Bfroger6
Tessa With a frown and a furrowed brow, Tessa observed the three dorms. "..." Weren't they first supposed to get assembled into those groups the instructors mentioned? What were they supposed to do now with these dorms!? Really. That instructor just told them to enter the dorms and converse, but not a word was mentioned about who was supposed to enter where and when and in which order. THERE WAS NO ORDER HERE. Savagery. Simple-minded barbarian world, this was what this place was. She had managed to deduce it in the short amount of time they spent there. How was she gonna live here with these people? A school was supposed to be organized. A place of beauty where everyone had their assigned role and nobody was out to kill anyone else. But that is a digression... More importantly...there were both males and females around, and if they were gonna mix in the dorms, then something should have at least been mentioned! So frustrated has the girl gotten that, even though she couldn't see it, her cheeks were turning bright red. There was an itch under her armpit-a mental rash whose growth was augmented by the way these disorganized people handled things. Her lumen. She could feel her lumen. It had no solution for this crisis, and neither had she. What now? How to proceed? To simply go along with the introductions? No. These people needed a leader to organize their lives in this chaotic situation. To put their minds to rest-wait, why was that boy leaving!?!? And what was that person doing with a twig!?!? All the more reason to stand up for the brighter tomorrow. "Ahem. Ahem!!! Ahem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tessa coughed to get everyone's attention. Specks of sweat trickled on her forehead. She was usually calm and collected, but now she could feel all the hairs on her head slowly falling out of place. Like this whole place was falling out of place. No, it was already in pieces. Ragged chunks of dirtied cobble sticking out through every nook and cranny. Unacceptably unacceptable!!! "...people, people, please, order! We are all in disarray because of what had happened, but please don't let this stressful situation reduce you to levels of brutal savagery. I know it must be hard for you, but please, let us introduce ourselves in some democratically agreed upon order. And let us then proceed to decide what to do with the topic of the dormitory. I'm sure all-most..." Tessa noticed another girl walking away towards the dorms. "...of you are as boggled as I am regarding them. 'Which one should I enter?', you must be wondering. I suggest we refrain from entering the dormitories just now. Let us wait for the instructors to return and assign out rooms accordingly. With that out of the way, I shall continue the introductions. My name is Tessalyva Serenade von Whipschnapps. You are free to refer to me as 'Tessa' if the full version of my name is too much for you to handle. I am very pleased to make all of your acquaintance." Tessa gave a light bow to the crowd, her greenish hair flailing before her face. Phew. She was content with what she'd said. Now if only they all would listen. Edited October 23, 2016 by Bfroger6
Swampellow
Osiric Os looked around as each person started to introduce themselves, trying to remember each of their faces, hoping that he would be able to. Just then, the shorter girl with green hair gave what - to him - seemed like a very stressed out speech to them, although it was obvious not everyone was listening. Just looking at her Os could see how stressed that she was "She does have a point though, despite the way she just delivered... that." he thought to himself. "Well, I guess it's my turn to introduce myself then. I'm Osiric Lehvon, you can call me Os if you want, but you don't have to if you don't want to though. I come from Aurora. And uh, I think that Tessa has the right idea, maybe it would be best if we all stay put until our instructors come tell us where each of us of dorming." he put out, though not nearly at the volume at which Tessa had just given her speech. After introducing himself he reached into one of the pockets of his coat, looking around for a specific bag of seeds.
