I completely forgot about Gyarados and Z-bounce. But yes, that is an option for Talon.

Magic bounce Xatu would most likely be a lead. But if the field was like "The winds blew the stealth rocks to the other side of the field/away!", wouldn't the role of the magic Bouncer be mitigated somewhat? It could still reflect status moves, but given that Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web are almost completely useless in this situation, that really hurts Magic Bounce Xatu's Viability on this team.

How would you feel if He ended up having Mega Salamence?

Lol, I wrote a paragraph earlier. But for the most part I'd be fine. Why you might ask? Because it's not Mega Pinsir who would be WAY worse in any flying type field. It would also be a pretty good challenge who'd I'd have fun against. But, Mega Salamence as a mega is to easy to think of. How about Mega Pidgeot?

Btw, did a calc, and check this out. 1+ (Field effect) 252 ATK Aerilate Salamence-Mega Double-Edge vs 252 HP/ 4 def Gigalith 166-196 (44.3-52.4%)

So it has a chance to do half to one of the bulkiest physical tanks in the game right now. DEFINITELY a challenge, but not unbeatable. So I guess I'm fine with Megamence.

Came up with flying type field:

Spoiler

Cloudy field:

"Terminal Velocity!"

1.5% boost to all flying moves.

"The attack used the open air!"

1.5% to the following moves: Heat Wave, Hurricane, Fly, Brave Bird, Flying Press, Aerial Ace

"The air focused the attack!"

Aerilate's boost becomes x2.0

Sandstorm lowers accuracy

Sand attack lowers accuracy by x2.0

"Sand covers the air!"

Tailwind lasts for 5 turns

Earthquake fails

"With what ground? L0Loser"

All Rock type moves accuracy becomes 50%

Blizzard turns the field into a Frozen Field (Angie's field for the rejuvenation players, but without, "the darkness is coming" bs)

Rain Dance lasts for 8 turns. Any extending item will turn it to 10 turns.

Thunder becomes 100%

Twister's base damage becomes 140 and hits one enemy.

Upon entry, Pokémon with the ability Gale Wing's have their evasion boosted by 1 stage.

Smack Down turns the field into a Mountain Field.

All bomb, blast, pulse, aura, and beam moves have their accuracy halved regardless of their effect if under Tailwind.

Dragon moves have Flying added on to them as a subtype.

Hazard moves (Toxic spikes, spikes, etc) fail.

"The wind blew the hazards away!"

If thunder becomes 100% accurate, wouldn't that be a disadvantage for flying types?

Also, What if talon is equipped with a Mega Rayquaza?

Stall's hard to deal with. Maybe it would be good to give Mega Rayquaza Toxic to handle that?

Then watch it get endeavored, countered, destiny bonded, subseeded,...  there are many ways to deal with a threat that is stronger then you and the community will use them.

doesn't learn it besides prankster subseed :p. Also you're clogging up its movepool with very situational moves.

Well, you did give me a lot of situations wherein Mega Rayquaza's power could possibly be defeated.

It's better if M-Rayquaza simply had a Signature Move that OHKOs all possibls enemies.

In version 9, will the fight against Zetta and Gearen be made easier?

To some players that fight is just impossible because Melia is very squishy and the Dragonite is just too strong without any decent dragon/fairy-type pokemon while the volcano makes rock and ice-type moves kinda useless against him. (The level cap doesn't really help either at that point.)

Set up is the answer:d

A prankster Meowstic with light screen and Reflect/charm does wonders there :D

You underestimate the community. Watch it get beaten by my lvl 1 sturdy geodude and 99 oran berries.

Best  way to deal with ppl that use legendaries :D Tremble before the mighty sturdy! :D

My guess for talons team: natu, aerodactyl/minior, gliscor, rotom F,  crobat and mega-freaking-pinsir :D

(maybe charizard for crobat to balance the ice weakness)

Sorry to ask but who is talon, have met him before?

Apparently it's the flying gym leader, I can't say I've heard of him/remember him either so I don't know where people know him from.

Got a female Meowstic so no prankster there.

SR at the casino for a male one :D

You also have electrode with eerie impulse and light screen, pachirisu/ilumise with charm. Yamask with will-o-wisp

Anything goes :D

By the way has anyone thought the on GDC the one behind the trouble could be Angie (not possible, but anyway). Propably it is T. Xen and Cassandra is working with them (Flora was right)

Bladestar are the good guys(Who knows)

1. no mega Rayquaza

2. A lot of fields give the intended type a disadvantage or two. Besides, we don't even have the tm for thunder, and what Pokémon do we have in the game that learns it via level up.

I'm probably gonna need to replay from the start when version 9 reaches. That being said, is there any list of missable cutscenes? Cause sometimes I hear about facing Ren in the library or seeing how Angie was created and in my playthrough none of those things happened
