I forget if this was already addressed or not, but will we be seeing a dex for the Dimensional Rift Pokemon at some point in the future like how Reborn got its own PULSE dex?  Shoot, I feel like we haven't seen the last of them, even if Zetta's gone.

Small Update: #90593540285289

I finished one sidequest, but there a few others I have to do. That being said, progress is being made regardless.

Alpha testing has begun! Wait, Jan, you said sidequests haven't been completed yet!

Why, you are correct! Here's the thing, there's SO much new stuff that I have to make sure past things are

working before I go ahead and test actual new content. I'm really sorry this is taking so long, but

it's worth it in the long run.

Please note that testing itself will take a bit because of the amount of content needed to be looked at.

I'll try to give you guys a sneak peak at something next week. Maybe that will satiate your hype a bit?

Sweet. Although I don't agree with the fight being made easier. Maybe should've just suggested easy mode for this fight? Idk, it's your game.

The fight was poorly designed and was never in your favor unless you had the right team. I may add that the fight has only been nerfed in normal mode. Intense players need not worry.

I understand that. Although I think it makes sense that the odds are against you in that fight. I won't even lie, That fight gave me my fair share of..., uh, intense moments. Ended up getting two camerupts, a beartic, and an ampharos to win that fight.  Off topic, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I, at least liked the atmosphere of the fight in hindsight. But I get your decision.

(Btw thanks for the update.)

Mhm, I get what you're saying. I didn't make it to the point where it's like "Wow, that was anti climactic", because it's a

very important battle and the end of a whole arc. I think I was able to preserve that feeling you had, but if it doesn't, I can

always buff certain areas.

I have faith that you were able to preserve that feeling. Keep up the good work Jan.

(EDIT: Even though Normal Keta doesn't give you your badge, making spirit Keta more of a leader then he is, I think normal mode Keta should get a little buff level wise)

I've made my own assumptions on who the 4 people of darkness (is that the right phrase for it) after following the thread for months now. I made 3 run-throughs to check out all (almost all) possible choices. I have yet to try normal mode, but I'm not about to- I'll get my roommate (and the rest of the building) mad at me. Anyway:

Spoiler

Pure Evil: I get the feeling that it's Angie since she'll come back and that's certain. She tried to kill the protag too and a complete religious madwoman (reminds me of Margaret from Carrie if anyone read the book or saw the movie).

Obsession: maybe Kanon. He reminds me of Bennett, minus the terrible accident/disaster/something, who will be part of the Reborn Elite 4. Of course, Jan can always turn around and give us someone completely unexpected like Melia (who attracts Shiny Pokemon).

Betrayal: Ren. That one is obvious since he turned against us for a really dumb reason. Let's hope Jan gives us some more character development on him.

Greed: My money's on Cassandra. We don't know much about her and since she probably runs the biggest city in the region, she might be power/money-hungry. Again that's still up in the air.

On different note, how is disinterest a good thing? Unless we are referring to Crescent, who wants us to stand down for our own safety and not get involved.

Obsession could also be Angie, If you choose to consider her "Obsession" with serving her Lord Arceus.

When I was said "Disinterest", I meant that it was the opposite of Obsession, and I was also wondering how disinterest was a good thing. You make a good point about Crescent.

Maybe this is actually how Crescent wants to fulfill the prophecy of light: By us being completely disinterested, so that we can actually survive long enough to fulfill the prophecy. Than we become the Light of Disinterest. Killing Two birds with one Stone.

But I highly Doubt that it is Disinterest. It's too unlikely.

Maybe the Light and Dark Prophesied aren't complete opposites in terms of Character Traits.

They might as well call it the Light of Ignorance or Light of Boredom if there were to be something similar to Light of Disinterest.  We'd sound like the most boring protagonists in the whole game, just not giving a shit about anything like saving the world or any of that jazz.

Also sounds like the most hipster protagonists if you ask me.

That would be the most Anti-Climactic Prophecy of All time. Hilarious, But Anti-Climatic.

On A Side note, Am I the only one who thinks that people should update the Pokemon Rejuvenation Wiki?

Let it be known. If I EVER have to fight Angie on that ironically God forsaken field again I just might snap. Speaking of her. Is Angie really a shadow? And that of pure evil? I mean, Angie believes what she is doing is the right thing. And wouldn't you try to do the right thing? I think if Angie is going to be a shadow, it's DEFINITELY obsession.

Okay. Both of you have a point about that. If Angie's obsession, then who's the pure evil one? Madame X?

I don't think it's Madame X considering she saved us when Kugearen city blew up and she said we were important to everything (hope we can know why one day), so I don't think she's entirely evil. It could be Indriad (pardon my spelling). I mean he tried to sacrifice us along with Venam, Luca, and Lenny. Also Marianette and Anju told us he lies alot despite him worshipping Arceus (again pardon my spelling). I'm probably wrong though. Gardevoir is also a candidate (in my opinion) in the raw evil category since she is ruthless and merciless. Again I could be wrong.

Speaking of Madame X, She did try to kill us. Her Yveltal was holding a Soul Stone. She said that our life was rightfully hers. Does anyone think that she was trying to keep us trapped in that Soul Stone?

She could be Pure Evil. She could be trying to control us, since we are important to everything. If we are important, why would she let us die in Kugearen? In Black steeple, she would have had full control of us if she had trapped us in that soul stone.

Her Yveltal had a Soul Stone? Huh. I didn't know that. She did kill Nancy/Yancy (can someone give me the correct name to the protag's mother?) so Madame X likely got her soul if that's the case. Weird since I think we battle her later on, ghost style. But what good would it have done for Madame X if she got Yancy? Swayed us to do her bidding?

Someone managed to use knock off on the Yveltal, and it was revealed to be holding a soul stone.

Does Yancy even have a Soul for Madame X to trap? All of her emotions are described as "Faux Emotions". Faux Means Artificial. Yancy is described as being a non human. She is probably an artificially made doll.

Either Way, Madame X was aiming to stab the Main Character. Yancy just Jumped in the way a la "Heroic Sacrifice" trope. This was an interruption in whatever Madame X was aiming to achieve.

Oh wow I didn't think about that. Didn't even know she had a soul stone. But if she has a soul stone as well how did she get it? Because when we got the soul stone it was from Amethyst Grotto and was given to us by Keta's emotions spirit or... forgot what he was called. Getting a bit off topic here. Anyway aren't you suppose to have a pure heart or something?

On the topic of Amethyst Grotto, I'm wondering what the other 3 pedestals are for. Or what Jan has planned to what we get for collecting everybody. Other things I'm looking forward to, is hopefully another part to the Narcissa/Dufaux side quest line in Grand Dream City. I also totally forgot Amaria wants revenge on us, since she thinks we're causing all this trouble with the gym leaders, I'm eager to see where that leads.

Doesn't seem pure evil like that. Her interactions with us later suggest more to her than it seems.

Also, remember she thought Melia was dead when she tried to kill us. Meaning she probably thought the Light Prophecy was null already and wouldn't need more lights. When she realized Melia was allive and that ''changed everything'', she did actually help us, meaning Madame X has preferences for the Light Prophecy happening.

It's probably some sort of stuff like fate finds a way. The prophecies can't be avoided, so it's best to ensure the Light one happens OR, if the dark one is the one that will happen, it's best to have the shadows (like Ren) on your side to work around them somehow, like minimizing the damage that will be caused

Question time:

  • How do I get the 2nd statue on the Amethyst Grotto?
  • Am I the only on =e that is hyped for Angie?
  • About Cassandra, we may not know her yet but for some reason I think she might be connected to Cressent. What do you think?

Afaik you can't get the 2nd statue in Amethyst Grotto yet, even though it's been since the 2nd gym we ever really had a reason to go there except for a few items.

I would be hyped for Angie, but her forcing me to change the game to Casual difficulty gave me some serious traumatic issues just like Shelly from Reborn, but she sure is an interesting character.

We haven't heard much about Cassandra yet apart from her being the major or at least part of the government in GDC, and that Flora thinks that she's a very corrupt politician. I don't doubt that she'll play a big role in the upcoming arc but I can't really see her being connected to Crescent or Spacea/Tiempa since Melia would've most likely recognized the name if that were the case.
