I wonder if we'll get any starter events. Or any shadow starters.

There was a shadow froakie in version 5. That's how i gained a greninja and a serperior.

Theory: The Grand Dream City's Corrupt officials were responsible for providing the Budget for the Emoji Movie, Because Masahiro Sakurai had a bad Idea. And now the Citizens of Grand Dream City are now paying for a wall in the north of the city, to keep intruders from crossing the Mexico-Aevium Border. And Texen is the Most Powerful Sith lord. And I base this theory, on absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

I wonder about the Gym Leader's relationships between themselves and the league.

I mean you're not going to sit here and tell me, the league doesn't know all the messed up stuff that's going on behind the scenes. In fact, what even is the league's game. Why is Marianette a leader with a guardian that happens to be a freaky religious fanatic. Why is the gym in the sewers as well? Why is a blind kid a leader. Why are Venam and Amber leaders? They might be good with their type, but from as far as we have seen, lack the responsibility, and leadership that a leader requires. Saki builds machines like rocket launchers presumably without any permission from the government or any authority, and Volta is away from the city most of the time, leaving the reserve leader to take up the position of Gym Leader and hold the burden that Volta was supposed to shoulder. And apparently it's hard to get a battle with Flora.

What's the E8 and Champion's game? I find it hard to believe a league would do this all obliviously.

Things were going quite well, until the Player-nation attacked. Everyone did their job as leader until things started to force things out of control (Team Xen.)

I thought it was clear, but Marianette's battle was technically illegal. Marianette's mansion isn't even there anymore. Was it ever there to begin with?

Venam may not be the best person morally, but her skill with Poison Types was all she needed to get her the job. Amber got her position through Tesla, but she's also good enough to keep it up for herself.

As for Saki... Well, you'll see how Saki got her position. It's not hard to get what you want when you have money.

Aevium is technically still new. They're trying out new things and perfecting the system as they go. Though, they definitely need to get some responsibility in here because dear lord,

the moment Team Xen attacks, things go way down hill.

There's a blind leader in Rejuv? Out of the 10 (11 or 12) we battle so far in the game, none of them are blind, so is the blind leader someone we haven't met yet/a leader that we've met but not battled? My memory might be bad but I really can't remember a blind leader in Rejuv.

Wasn't the bug gym leader blind?

I don't remember anything about Crawli being blind. I only remember that he fell down through a sinkhole into his gym arena when he was a child and that was when he befriended bug pokemon. Like I said my memory concerning things I haven't done in a while are pretty bad but I'm pretty confident that Crawli isn't blind.

I laughed harder than I was supposed to at that theory. The US of A is doomed.

Anyway, I thought Jan axed that event since I wasn't able to get Froakie in my latest game file.

I was Drunk when writing that "Theory.

Jan Axed it, but I had a copy of V5, and I was able to reload from there and catch the shadow Froakie.

How exactly did a Murderer get a position in the Elite Four? Even if they didn't find out about Karen murdering Karrina's parents, She's clearly unstable mentally.

How different is V5 from now? I was searching to no avail older versions of Rejuvenation to see how far it has come. I know at a point the game was completely revamped and wanted to see how it was before that

Maybe ability overlaps the health of a person? Either that or Karen has done well in hiding her instability.

Here's a link to what I think is V5. It's actually V5-5 which I don't know if it's a patch or just an updated version of V5. Also it seems only the Mediafire link works and not the Mega one.

That's the file. I got Shadow Froakie from that one.

I don't know how it would affect V9 if we wanted an Aloha starter. If we wanted to get an aloha starter, theoretically, we wouldn't be able to go back to V5, because none of the Aloha pokemon are programmed into V5. Meaning, I don't really have a way to get both Greninja and Decidueye when I start over. Any solutions to this problem?

When you first meet Karen, she's perfectly normal, but then she slowly declines into a state of insanity.

Perhaps she's forgotten to take something.

Depending on when it actually is you first meet her (the Starly smugglers or the Hidden Library quest) she might come out as a bit different. (even though both using magic to destroy a boat or fllying and screaming at a scientist should be considered normal lol)

i think you just need to put all your version 7 pokemon in the pc and not touch them until you go back to the current version; pretty sure that's what you need to do with gen 6 pokemon if you want to go back to an older version of reborn

The League is probably being monitored by the Gearen City Lab, but it's not being done well. I guess there aren't many people up to the task; considering that Aevium is kind of a damaged region which is still trying to regain its glory after the Divide.

The Normal leader is supposed to be dead. Melia was the one who was planning to apply for that spot, but she quit halfway. Marianette's battle is technically illegal, because she isn't monitored by the league. The MC just had the luck to encounter her. The gym is in the sewers most likely due to magic or the like working.

Blindness doesn't hinder a person from becoming a leader. As long as one can get in touch with his pokemon, he is eligible for being a Gym Leader.

As to Amber and Venam's case, it's either that leadership isn't a necessary skill or that no one can take up their post. A third possibility is that they're just quite good.

Saki is a famous and esteemed mechanic or such, so she can get away with something like that.

As to Volta's case, she's busy with work, thus, she is free to have a reserve leader fill in for her. This also occurs with Narcissa and Venam actually.

Spoiler

1. I can buy that

2. But if the normal leader is dead, wouldn't the badges be invalidated until further notice if you were to late to battle him/her? And how did Marianette and co. get the badges.

3. I'd just imagine Blindness REALLY hindering being a gym leader. Let's say Team Xen attacks via stealth. (Granted, knowing Team Xen, if you weren't blind, you still wouldn't be able to see them.) Or somebody sneaks up on you. Or somebody, launches a surprise attack on the village he's in. It just seems to easy to take advantage of. Also, remember, his pokemon won't always be out. Can't he "see" via his Pokémon? If his Pokémon aren't out then what now? I understand his other senses would be strengthened, but would it be enough for anybody attempting to sneak him with this in mind? Idk, just seems questionable. Crawli is still my 2nd favorite leader though.

4. I just find it hard to believe Venam of all people is given the responsibility of Gym Leader considering it's more then just battling. I doubt Venam could protect her city from any formidable Team Xen invasion. I also find it hard to believe Team Xen hasn't attempted taking Gearen yet. But that's for another post. Meh, I imagine Amber got away with being Gym Leader due to Tesla's presence in the resort, therefore, all Amber really needs to do is battle, and do stuff Tesla can't, which isn't a lot I'd assume.

5. This part with Saki is kinda cleared up by @Jan, so thanks for that.

6. Then why be a Gym Leader? I understand having the necessary skill, but when you're gone from your city for 99% of the time, things like Dimensional Rift Garbodor happened, even though it's questionable as to whether or not even Volta could've predicted that. Also, what happens if Erick gets taken out? Then we're left with no Leader. Which leaves the city vulnerable. I'd rather Erick be leader, and have a reserve leader so in case Erick goes down, we have a reserve to clean up. But, it's not the case.

7. With all this in mind. It just seems, Gym Leader, being a job, a lot of these leaders in my eye, seem to be unfit, or a bit questionable. But then again, I haven't REALLY seen Crawli in badass mode, or Venam protecting her city, so I can't say any of this for sure. It was just my own confusion I wanted to get off my chest.

8. A few other things I wanted to get off my chest:

-Doesn't Kreiss have a reserve leader? I'd imagine he/she would've come during the crisis in Kristiline.

-Will we get to battle all the reserve leaders? Like Spector? And will we get to battle Volta?

-Also, to add on to what another person said. How DID Karen get into the E8? I'd imagine the E8 as some godly super humans, so I doubt they'd miss Karen's mental instability. At least after a while that is. And there's no way that got past the champion.

-Will Jan have his own battle in the game, and if so, will it be incredibly hard, or will you just use the Pokémon you love and put them to the test against the player.

EDIT: I wasn't really aware that Aevium was new. So I guess it makes sense that there would be some problems.

EDIT: I wasn't really aware that Aevium was new. So I guess it makes sense that there would be some problems.

Marianette probably was the former Normal leader and was reported to bed dead at some point in time probably due to an incident or something.

Isn't it shown in different media that blind people normally have a special skill like superhuman hearing or sensing which they can use to get by?

In Aevium, I don't think it's a Leaders' responsibility to be a good guy or something and do duties like protecting their city. But, to formally answer your question, Venam IS doing something much more better than simply staying in the city and protecting it. She's fighting against Team Xen with us (MC and other leaders).

Team Xen is a fairly new threat. The Leaders are not yet really aware of this organization and are not yet ready to take on these kinds of things. Also, the Gym Leaders are not police or anything.

~~~~
I don't think all leaders have reserves; besides, you can't expect people to care or be goody two shoes.
Spector is battleable in V8. Volta might be battled at some point.
Karen's honestly a superhuman. Think back on her encounters. She was able to lift a ship off magically. She was able to bring us to an 8 bit world. Her mental stability is probably brought about by her not taking any meds or anything.
1. Maybe.
2. Acknowledged that in earlier comment. But I feel anybody seriously trying to take on Crawli would take this into account. In fact, I know somebody who did. Remember Nastasia in the Team Xen Shadow Lab on the secret shore? How she used some sort of invisibility thing and caught everybody in the room off guard, including Crawli. Well, for the most part. At least Crawli didn't get water shurikened to all hell. (I'm looking at you Aelita. You would've made that battle easier then it already is.)
3. I understand the Gym Leaders aren't police, and can't handle every bad thing that occurs in the city, or happens to the city. But Leaders DO have a responsibility to ensure the well being of everyone in the city. Which I can say a lot of.
4. I hope all leaders have reserves, simply for that extra gameplay.
5.I know Spector is battleable, but was using him as an example.
6. Karen nerf is needed.
3. Order isn't really a big thing in Aevium, I guess. It's not a perfect region; it's kind of a beautiful region on the outside yet is broken in the inside and this is actually true to real life situations.
4. I don't think we need to have characters which aren't really gonna be substantial to the story. They're just gonna be clutters.
6. Nah. Expect the other E8 members to be superhumans or something. We've already got people with psychic powers, people who can attract shiny pokemon, people who can summon pokemon from rifts, people who can do extraordinary work, and time travel, and all these people aren't even part of the V8. So, expect for it..
