Pluto
it can't be just me right, just noticing way more critical hits then normal?
Anstane
As far as I am aware the crit chances are the same as normal. Maybe you're simply fighting a lot of mons with Focus Energy, which boosts crit rate. Or, you're just being unlucky.
Lord Drakyle
There has never been mention of an increased critical hit rate as far as I know but there are Moves with higher crit rates, ability that give better crit chance, as well as items and moves that increase crit rate like Focus Energy and Dire Hit Super Luck is an ability that makes critical hits more likely These moves have high critical hit rates: Aeroblast, Air Cutter, Attack Order, Blaze Kick, Crabhammer, Cross Chop, Cross Poison, Drill Run,Karate Chop, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Poison Tail, Psycho Cut, Razor Leaf, Razor Wind, Shadow Claw,Sky Attack, Slash, Spacial Rend and Stone Edge. Storm Throw and Frost Breath are guaranteed critical hits
Tacos
Are you fighting Serra? Her field increasescritical-hit ratio for buffs to the evasiveness and accuracy of the attacker as well as the evasiveness and accuracy debuffs of the attacked. DemICE
Gen 6 change. Crits happen easier but have 1,5 times more DMG instead of
NickCrash
It could also be that the game is harder than you are used to. Usually your battles in canon games don't last long, so you don't get as many chances to crit.
Garnet.
hey i believe you this game hands out crits and hax in general like crazy. i dont think its actually higher, but it does certainly feel like it. If there is any difference, it's in the actual essentials program itself though, i've seen it in other games that use the same program. dont worry about it too much, though. i definitely understand where you're coming from, feels like the hax algorithm is off or somethin to make it actually have more hax than main series games. it could just be us though. Shinoda Yagami
I might be completely wrong about this but I believe different mons have different crit chances because I remember seeing a smogon article about aerodactyl that said it has a high crit chance. Maybe you're using mons that naturally have a higher than average crit chance? I dont think reborn favors crits, it only favors shinies so thats not the reason. It's not Aerodactyl who has the higher Crit Chance. It's actually Stone Edge, which is on almost all of its sets.
Damage
Bosses all have a 97% chance to crit and it rises to 99.6% when you have one pokemon left. All seriousness, no. Mathematically speaking probably just seeing them more because battles are longer and trainers have more pokes.
